The bathroom bedding quilt had stains on it
Well equiped modern hotel with touch of farm house (but completely rebuilt). Friendly staff. Good food. Romantic place for 2. Highly recommended.
A very stylish and comfortable hotel set in open countryside. N/A
Beautiful room, friendly staff. Room not cleaned properly. Breakfast only at 8.30 and selection very poor. No hot breakfast. Hotel in a v small town
A new hotel with a bit of style and class. Excellently appointed rooms, private balcony, large jacuzzi, good service and friendly staff.
The hotel was lovely, very relaxing, lovely staff and a very peaceful setting. Would really like to go back sometime. No
I stayed here for 1 night because it was very close to my chosen location. overall it was ok, check in and out fast, the breakfast buffet was very good.
Good restaurant - The bad (not included into the room fees)
cost suddenly increased fm last visit : to-day use of pool and sauna charged extra.
The hotel is very dated and needs an upgrade of all areas.
The staff was not helpfull. They were even rude at times. Specifically, we needed information about exchange rates and taxis and they did not assit us or help us find information
I did not like the atmosphere. I felt like I was staying in an old people's home because there were rollaters everywhere and old people in bathrobes. The thermal pool could have been so much nicer but everyone looked miserable and the 1 minute buzzer was like some kind of communist controller! I did not like the steam room being naked. I go in a lot of steam room but I don't need to be naked for them. Although this was actually the nicest area, the atmosphere was once again lifeless. The indoor pool in the sauna area was lovely but again, does one have to be naked to enjoy it? It's right in the centre of things so it was awkward for me to swim there. The food in the restaurant was nice but the service slow. Choice limited for veggies.
Pleasant, friendly staff. Very clean rooms and facilities. Excellent breakfast. Easy parking. Easy to reach. Quiet. Excellent service offers. The fact that the swimming pool did not allow entry while wearing a bathing suit. For visitors from the U.S., for example, this would preclude use of this particular pool in many cases. However, the request to take off the bathing suit was made very politely.
The staff were very helpful. Whole atmosphere was relaxed. Hotel in a very quiet area. The buffet breakfast seems expensive.
A hotel with character and charming staff. We would be very happy to stay there again. Excellent food.
Everything was fine, would stay there again
Nice country atmosphere. Nice dining area. Easy access from the highway A7. Would be a great place for children - along with bowling alley, they also have an 'activity' area.
Very attentive and helpful manager and staff. Excellent food and a choice of eating outdoors. lovely "fin de siècle" dining-room. Temporarily a little difficult to access, because of the road improvement.
Avoid to stay in this hotel on Saturday night when big reception occurs and loud music till midnight.
the staff was very helpful, open doors, the ability to find the hotel in the area, free parking. the bolling play paths where heared in rooms
friendly staff, greatlocation ,comfortable rooms .For a family get together we found it perfect .The breakfasts were good also. The showers were too cool .Also the grounds outside needed some attention ,there were a lot of weeds and when the grass was cut ,it was left on the pathway and we had it on our shoes and therefore it went into our rooms .
convient location on German Holland border. Good catering facilities, both english speaking members of staff. The bowling alley lanes could have been waxed more as it was very loud in the room also there could have been more choice of balls. Breakfast was very expensive for not a lot on offer. A few rolls and a small selection of meats. TV in bed room could have been bigger.
The hotel is very comfortable, clean, and the amenities go well beyond a typical international hotel (television, refrigerator, body soap/shampoo, wonderful restaurant adjoining, fantastic breakfast buffet). The staff is wonderful, and I enjoyed my stay very much.
Some staff were very helpful and friendly
location disco in building with noise all night. never again.
(a) location (b) friendly staff (a) advertised internet connection essentially non-existent. (b) fairly large carpark full due to Rotary Club meeting (c) some electrical points not functioning
The hotel was in a conveniant location, easy to find and central to the city with sufficient parking. I did not like the club downstaires it would have been better to use the hotel bar.
Just average Bathroom poor, no wifi in the room though mentioned
Veru peaceful, no basement nightclub disco on a saturday night as other post mention. Bar closed at midnight!!
The staff were friendly and accomodating for needs and wishes.
On my trip to Landgraaf I found this hotel wich had a very nice staff. It was clean rooms, a good resturant in a nice garden. I can recommend this hotel.
We were traveling with our 8 month old infant. The hotel did not have a crib available so they put us in a room with an extra bed at no additional charge to have a bit more space. Based on reviews, we were expecting a night of relaxation and excellent service, with a lengthy meal and drinks in a natural setting. However, we were rushed through dinner and were not even given menus to choose our food. The initial food they gave us was bland and not at all what we had in mind. They did then agree to make something different - a fish to share which was tasty. Then we were completely ignored for the rest of the evening, and were charged for everything despite the original food being taken away without having eaten most of it. We felt very unwelcomed and regretted that we chose this hotel. We never got any apologies, just arguments. Oh, and our room had many dead flies...
It was close to where we wanted to go but most of all the couple who run it were absolutely lovely and couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. We didn't stay for long enough !!!!!
lovely converted barn in pretty village with spacious room and good breakfast I believe the enjoyment of our stay would have been much enhanced with the provision of air-conditioning in the bedroom.
The hotel is excellented renovated, and very nice, although a bit far from a city Prices in the restaurant is too high, according to what they offer
We loved our four poster bedroom with spa bath. We also enjoyed the delicious food served at breakfast and dinner. The staff were very happy and obliging. I would stay there again and would recommend to anyone. The location and cleanliness was very good. I did not like paying for everything (e.g. food and drinks bill) at the end of the stay along with the accommodation bill - I like to pay as and when I have a drink or food, so I can tip at the same time accordingly. Otherwise, no complaints, the stay was memorable and enjoyable.
We felt extremely welcomed when we arrived after our long journey. They offer a very personal, friendly service. The food was excellent. The general atmosphere was very relaxed and the hotel is situated in an idyllic region.
front desk very friendly and helpful
The cripsness of the sheets and the good breakfast buffet.
Central location, close to main bus depot stop. Beer garden was kept open late one night, not closing until 1am. Noisy as room right above it. Dog roaming free at breakfast when having food.
More travic noise then aspected, heavy trucks passing at night.
Cosy atmosphere Noise between the rooms
The excellent and friendly service in a very dutch small village close to german border. If you are looking for an international type of hotel then this may not be ideal.
The breakfast was excellent, the staff very hospitable. The curtains were so thin, they did not make the bedroom dark at all.
Friendly new management made us feel very welcome. Meals were generally excellent. Rooms were clean and warm. Some meal choices would have been good. Not everyone likes soft, runny eggs for breakfast.
Nice small hotel, friendly people. Just 1 thing missing: hairdryer.
It's cozy, friendly atmosphere and staff. Breakfast is excellent. The staff is attentive and fast, even late in the evening. The beds are just a little bit too short for me: I'm 1m96 (almost 6'6"). The city of Exloo should be very much ashamed of themselves for letting the works on the roads be delayed like this. The hotel is difficult to be reached and the streets are a mess and should be fixed sooner than later. Fortunaltely, the hotel staff handles all related problems with care.
