10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent. Big variety of different foods.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful art deco hotel, great staff, comfortable, big rooms
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Best location in town Very helpful staff, especially Lily, Roy and David
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic experience at the historic hotel. The staff was well spoken and polite . Room service was exemplary. Wonderful tea time / happy hours service for the gold members . Breakfast was very good and the location is absolutely amazing . Literally a stone throw from the Bund . I would highly recommend this hotel for tourist in Shanghai.
Cons: The only setback we had at this hotel was the absolutely poor service @ the roof top terrace bar on floor 9 . The waiters need to be at par with the hotel service level. They were very slow and spent most of their time on their phones or chatting with each other . The only time I saw them do something was when the manager was on the floor .
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Splendid location, by far my most important criterion in choosing a hotel
Cons: Being treated like an invalid by the overeager young who offer to carry my very light luggage in a rather aggressive and intrusive way.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: One of the best hotels we’ve stayed at. Ticks every box.
Cons: There was nothing we didn’t like
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Historical location and building
Cons: I bought a room with city view, then the view was on a miserable small road
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location is great but most rooms have no views. The products provided is top of the line and the jazz bar, though did not play jazz when we were there, is a nice old time Shanghai fair.
Cons: The facility is older even after the renovation. The switches are so over-used that one is hard to read what the switch is for. The shower room insulation is old so that water leaks to the toilet area whenver the shower is used.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location is aweseom.e definitely check out the roof top terrace. I visited shanghai during the national holidays so wai tan was packed as hell. but if you go up to the roof top, you can enjoy the spectecular view with not so many people. staffs speak very good english and are kind.
Cons: room size wasn't big compared to the price. I think the price is wholly on the location. and the water of the swimming pool was cold. would have expected warm water in a hotel like this. fitness studio was fine.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I love the history of the hotel and how well they’ve preserved the original style of the 1930’s. I love the museum and photos in the main lobby. The pool is excellent. The staff are exceptional.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel, elegant service and super friendly. Perfect location and gold club experience very worthwhile. Thanks particularly to Alan concierge on 9th floor for great recommendations.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: I liked the view and the elegant atmosphere
Cons: I found the deposit a bit high but probably it’s normal in China
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We travelled around China and stayed at 3 reputable hotels. The Mandarin Oriental was the most personalised service we received. The team of Concierges (especially Terence) were fantastic. Very knowledgable and understanding to our needs as a family with a young toddler. The hotel free car service (in a 2k proximity) was also a great help moving around the hotel to the local tourists spots. I highly recommend for families
Cons: My only issue was the rooms were a little small. We were in a Club room and the space felt restricted.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Environment and location
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms are absolutely spectacular. A great view of the river in Shanghai. Not only that but the club lounge was brilliant. I would definitely recommend booking a club room as there are plenty of opportunities throughout the day to get food/refreshments.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Mandarin Oriental staff was extremely friendly and had a lot of attention to our kids. The hotel is beautiful, the view on the river is magic and the facilities are extraordinary. we'll be back for sure !

The Peninsula Shanghai - Shanghai - Building

9.5 Excellent (3,175 reviews)

Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access and a 24-hour front desk. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and limited parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very good, staffs are very efficient , I will surely stay in this hotel for my next visit.
Cons: It takes time to look for taxi.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view in the river room was stunning and the staff super lovely. Enjoyed the stay!
Cons: -/-
5.8 Okay
Pros: Staff were friendly and polite.
Cons: It's very dated and it felt like an older Hilton from 1992. This place is decent but really needs a lot of updating. We were going to stay longer after a trip to Palawan but when we got back we moved to the fairmont raffles and it is so much better and modern.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: I always know what to expect when I go to a Peninsula hotel...and this was no different. I love their consistent service.
7.5 Good
Pros: Best location in Shanghai!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very attentive down to the small details.
Cons: We arrived at 3ish, but took us nearly 30 minutes to get the room! Something like the computer didn't release our room. The guy called and checked to confirm the room was ready. So the guy went upstairs to check and made sure the room was ok, but didn't know why still could not release the room. Then the other woman went upstairs again, still the same. Anyway, after seeing 3 groups of guest finished checking in, my room was finally released. It was not busy at that time, so I was quite annoyed that I had to stand there and wait for such a long time. But the staff was polite and sincere though.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The Peninsula lives up to its name. With a prominent position on the Bund the views are breadth-taking. The hotel room was a great size, with you own walk in closet, a bathroom with twin sinks, standalone shower and bath. The bed was large and comfortable. We opted not to have a cot as all 3 of us could get into the bed. The smaller details made the hotel feel luxurious - the little slippers and bathrobe for my daughter, the various bathrobes for adults, the placement of sockets, the nail dryer in the wardrobe! The hotel staff were amazing. Never hesitated in helping where they could and the use of English language was fantastic (this can be a struggle even in other 5 star hotels)
Cons: I felt there was a slight air of arrogance - not in the staff but the hotel itself and its services. The hotel felt very in-personal, this came down the breakfast (which was a restricted menu - not open buffet unless you went Continental). We had fruit given to us the 1st day we arrived, but this was the same fruit for 3 days. The biggest disappointment for us was one evening we were to the lobby restaurant for dinner. A lovely grand space with a string quartet playing. I asked for a high chair for my 2.5 year old and was asked if it was necessary and could I not just sit her on a normal chair. I am not sure if this high chair went against their luxury appearance when guests walked in. I found the whole encounter a little strange and decided to have room service instead.
7.5 Good
Pros: Very nice hotel with great location.
Cons: Drinks on the rooftop bar was a terrible experience. The barman took forever to take our order and twice as long to open 3 bottles of beer, due to the long wait my wife got talking to another guest, when it came time to pay we got charged for the other guests drink, to make matters worse the barman then wanted us to ask the lady for payment, highly embarrassing! We had other issues in regards to checkout, being advised all was in order for payment only to be stopped as we were leaving the property and made to return so they could get it sorted, even worse when I returned home to find additional charges put on my card without my authorization as they still didn't get it correct! Finally we booked a grand deluxe suite and a double room, my email enquiry stated 6 guests but only beds for 4 were provided and they had no roll out beds available, we had to get additional blankets sent to our room with the children sleeping on the sofas. Would I stay here again, probably not.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: confortable bed, swiming pool with a great view, clean and wide room, kids-friendly environment
Cons: ..
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location , Staff especially Concierge Marco and room was great Should try by all means the swimming pool and Spa at 41st floor
Cons: All was good , Breakfast , dining at Chinese restaurant
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The swimming pool was lovely, likely the most beautiful swimming pool I have ever seen. The cleaning staff was very nice as well.
Cons: For a five star hotel, it was a little disappointing. The previous two four star hotels we stayed at in Guangzhou and Hong Kong were nicer and a better price (even taking into account location as a factor). There was always staff everywhere but they were not as warm and welcoming as previous hotels. It was also the little things, like the light switches not having separate controls, or the nice view through the window a bit murky because the windows weren't that clean, or the welcome TV in the bathroom going off automatically in the middle of the night, which was startling to suddenly hear loud voices in your room in the middle of the night. With so many options in Shanghai, we picked Four Seasons for its name, but wish we had given another hotel a shot instead. To be fair, we were only slightly disappointed because we came in with such high expectations and had our previous hotels exceed our expectations. No serious complaints and we had a pleasant stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Both times it has been a pleasurable stay. Nice modern rooms, friendly staff and good location. Great view of the pearly tower.
Cons: Wifi was a little choppy some days.
8.3 Excellent

Pros: Outstanding service, welcoming and serene spa. Breathtaking views of the city from the pool deck, executive club and our room.
Cons: nothing really
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel,
Cons: Breakfast was overpriced.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The most modern part of Shanghai. Lots of restaurants nearby, 10 min walk to IFC and Super Brand Malls. Amazing views from Pearl View Rooms. Excellent breakfast, well trained staff and best internet connection in all China.
Cons: Club Lounge is ok but you expect a little bit more from Four Seasons.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location is extremely convenient. The trip was celebrating the birthday of my partner and the guest team has prepared heart-warming welcome for our stay. We are so thankful for their courtesy. The view from swimming pool was spectacular!
Cons: Not at all.
Shanghai Hongqiao Airport Hotel - Shanghai - Building
6
9.3 Excellent (13,881 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Shanghai Hongqiao Airport Hotel in Shanghai (Minhang), you'll be 11.9 mi (19.1 km) from Jing'an Temple and 10.1 mi (16.2 km) from Zhongshan Park. Featured amenities include a business center, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: It could have been better if the hotel also provides tooth brush and tooth paste.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Well located. Clean. Big room.
Cons: Staff not very polite at the beginning
6.3 Good
Pros: The location of the hotel is very convenient as it is situated right next to Hongqiao Domestic Terminal T2 and on the other side of the airport, there is High Speed Rail station that takes people to major cities across China.
Cons: The room 805 that I stayed can partially see the airport runway. Part of the view is blocked by a building right behind the hotel; which is very annoying! The airport operates on a 24 hours schedule; planes land and take-off throughout the night. Make sure you have earplugs if you are a light sleeper. The carpet in the room is very very dirty and the air-con in room 805 is broken as the temperature stays at 25 degrees Celsius all the time; it feels extremely warm if you stay in the room during summer day time.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The Location was excellent. The Breakfast was superb! The Staff was helpful.
Cons: Your front desk was not able to exchange foreign currency, claimed they don't have the ability to do so, really? That alone should not qualify you as a 5 Star hotel based at the foot of an international Airport. What I did not like is that the Taxi driver had difficulty getting me to the front entrance and had to drop me off in the parking garage 300 meters from the front desk. Better signage in English would be very helpful to non Chinese speaking guests who are stuck with a corrupt taxi driver who is looking only to drive up the meter. This is the second time this has happened and generally after reasonable hours. While your hotel cannot control the poor taxi service, you can improve your signage in order to help foreign guests. This alone will help your ratings.
7.0 Good
Pros: clean room quite place bed is clean and nice
Cons: the big problem is : this hotel is airport hotel ... so , they should provide shuttle service between terminal 1 and Terminal 2.. and this my big problem because the hotel in T2 and my flight in T1 and the time of the flight on 6 am so i asked the reception to show me the metro direction .. but they told me you will miss your flight !!!! so we go to the Taxi option .. also .. this option not applicable because you need to book before one day !!! so the lady in the reception don't have any other option and just ignored me !!!! in this time i was looking to any body to pick me up to another terminal ... then i found one taxi and he request 100 rmb !!! for 3 km distance !!!!!!! this hotel if air port hotel ... and this service should be free for all gusts
8.3 Excellent
Pros: A lovely hotel walking disytance from the main terminal. Lovely staff with English well spoken
Cons: The lounge was disappointing, especially on my visit in the evening, no hot snacks (as previous) with a lot of food remaining from lunch still on the table
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very convenient location for next day flights or Trains , it’s like living in the airport , everything from the property is very near and easy to access . I recommend anyone who has a next day train or flight from Shanghai they should stay here . Everything about the property was nice . The staff were friendly and very understanding:) I’ll book this hotel next time too

Cons: N/A
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very convenient location, clean and comfortable rooms.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, clearness.
Cons: The room is small
6.0 Good
Pros: Location, and clean
Cons: you should ask for a room not facing the airport, since it is very noise and the rooms are not well isolated. Another problem is that some rooms that arent smoking rooms still have a very strong smell of smoke
5.0 Okay
Cons: Asked for a deposit twice the amount of the room. Card details previously supplied but I had to present the card AND put my n my pin. So the money would be debited AND currency exchange charges to me and then it was refunded the next day AGAIn Currency charges to me And I paid in cash No signage within terminal 2 and non response to my question how to find it

6.8 Good
Pros: All staff were very helpful and courteous, however their English skills were poor.
Cons: The original room booked 715, had a very strong smell of raw sewage. I was moved to another room, which was much smaller. The cover on the bed had a spot of blood on it and obviously had not been changed since the last guest. In the buffet breakfast a guest was picking salad items by hand, looking at them and returning items to the original bowl.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: everything is great
Cons: would be great to have tee pot with hot water for breakfast instead of just a small cup. Some more fresh fruits would be also great to have.
7.5 Good

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Superb room, very roomy, excellent bed, great breakfast buffet. Very luxurious building
Cons: A bit far from everything. One shopping mall nearby. But one needs a taxi or Didi to go anywhere ... the closest metro station is a 30-min walk away
9.3 Excellent
Pros: I really like the hospitality of the staffs in Sofitel, they always offered to add their WeChat for convenience (e.g buying train tickets, asking for recommendations). The building itself is very grand and superb, I really like the interior! The bed is so comfortable that my father sleeps so peacefully (usually he doesn't), the room is very spacious, I love everything about the room!
Cons: The location is close to the railway so it's very convenient for people who usually do business in the areas. However, it is very far from the shopping center (Nanjing Road). The breakfast was not exceptional!
7.0 Good
Pros: Hotel met expectations. Room was comfortable and very big.
Cons: The hotel is about 50 minutes outside the main Shanghai attractions like the Bund and the closest metro was a 10 minute cab ride away
8.8 Excellent
Pros: It’s in a quiet place with huge lobby and good staffs. Food options r good. There’s a money exchange machine inside the hotel!

7.5 Good
Pros: General staff, location and the room.
Cons: The staff at check in part was a bit tricky. I booked the room with Pearl tower view and breakfast. But the staff said i book with no breakfast. If you want a breakfast, you have to pay extra money. There was also a bit confusion with my room selection too. We thought the staff at the club lounge downstair was somewhat tricky.

The view of the city is lovely, and the room good sized. We have the option of luxurious bath tub or rain type shower. There are two sinks, and the bed is of course most comfortable with light control buttons on the nightstand. The toilet is automatic, and I do believe the seats are heated somehow. The staff is attentive and courteous. Location is close to trendy restaurants and shopping.

Pros: The employees are very considerate and polite
Cons: We brought our two kids with us and think it may not be a very family friendly hotel
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel location is the best! You have all Shanghai Pu dong's view from your own room. The hotel staff is very nice and always looking to help in any matter. Restaurant is also amazing, great food and variety.
Cons: The only thing i would say can be better is the language, there are not a lot of staff members that can really speak English.

Pros: Great staff who stop at nothing to help you out. I mentioned during my booking this was a special occasion for us (our wedding anniversary) and the whole W staff seemed to be aware of this.
Cons: If you can find anything about your stay that isn't to your expectations, the staff will help you out to make it right. There is absolutely nothing bad to say about the W in Shanghai

7.0 Good
Pros: It is an absolutely stunning hotel. The design and layout is gorgeous. Most luxurious and impeccably kept.
Cons: The location is so so and any additions like breakfast or meals are quite expensive. The concierge staff weren’t particularly helpful or knowledgeable when we asked questions. This was a disappointment when staying somewhere so boutique.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Well appointed rooms; very stylish.
Cons: I had a very bad and simply bizarre experience at this hotel. I’ve never been moved to write a review before, but I would like to share my experience. Two things: When checking in, they had a problem taking the deposit off one of my cards. After trying a number of different means, the on duty manager came over and told me that, as I had a problem with my card (and even mentioned in English something about the balance being too low, which simply was not the case) that I should stand aside and let other clients complete the check in process. It was a very awkward and demeaning five minutes while I stood, like a boy on the naughty step, next to the counter. When the clerk decided to countenance me again, we tried a number of different credit cards, to no avail. Finally they swiped the first card again, and it worked no problem! Complete mystery. This was a very demeaning experience, and the check in clerk herself realised they had handled it badly. As a result, she told me she was giving me a free upgrade to executive/club level. Great! It was written in their brochure/website that club level guests enjoyed certain benefits: such as free cocktails and canapés on the lounge from 5pm to 7pm, discounted food etc. When entering the lounge at that time they even ask for your room number to check you are club level. I took advantage of some of this, although time was limited being on business. However, during checkout the following day, they hit me with an additional bill of almost £100 due to the food/drinks I had consumed, which I was led to believe were included. Their reasoning was that a free upgrade does not include those benefits. I reasoned that if you are a club level guest, it goes without saying that you have club benefits. Their final word was that the person who upgraded me should have told me that the upgrade didn’t actually include those benefits. No effort made to solve the problem, just left it at that.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great Rooms - great furnitures and great designed and equiped as well (water boiler, tea, coffe, minibar) - nothing else to say. Perfect location as next to two subway lines, very close to French Concession and several other hot spots. Great Hotel Restaurant with Michelin Star. Nice Bars. Helpful people.
Cons: The promissing outdoor photo of the website and in booking com is a little bit missleading as there are not possibilities to take a sunbath or just to sit outside and enjoy the weather or enviroment. There is a kind of outdoor bistro (this is the photo) where you can sit outside BUT you have to order food or drinks to get the possibility to be outside - although you are Hotel guest and - in my opinion - paid already the entrance fee by paying that rate!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel. The staff were great and the pool and spa area were particularly lovely. Highly recommend staying here.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It is so awesome experience, the hotel staffs and service are so sweet and I have a wonderful night in hotel.
Cons: The toilet is not user friendly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What a gem of a sophistically designed beautifully maintained hotel. It unites elements of Chinese old and new handcraft with the first-class service on all levels: reception, room service, SPA, restaurant. The view of my hotel room was overlooking a park and a temple.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Modern cosy woody atmosphère. Gréât service. Very good location.
Cons: Missing an outdoor pool. Should dig that nice bassin they have outside behind reception. Would make a perfect pool !!
5.0 Okay
Pros: The staff was generally pretty good and helpful. The gym was full of technogym equipment and it had a pullup and dip machine. I appreciated the delivery of fruit, especially the crispy Xinjiang pear.
Cons: I don't like it when the TV turns on and plays music when I walk into the door. This doesn't just happen the first time. It happens every single time you walk into the room. The fitness center could use a back extension machine. I could have used more bottles of water in the room. I couldn't figure out how to open the blinds, so my view was always obscured.
7.5 Good
Pros: The food was really great, perfect location in Shanghai with a great view.
Cons: I stayed for a day and the room was ready when I arrived.. also, the personal was not that welcoming.. a shame for a hotel with this standing. Also, the Spa was not working the day I came, and I booked this hotel for this particular purpose.
Park Hyatt Shanghai - Shanghai - Bedroom

9.3 Excellent (2,635 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Park Hyatt Shanghai is a sophisticated modern Chinese residence occupying the 79th to 93rd floors of Shanghai World Financial Center (SWFC). Situated in the heart of the Lujiazui business district in Pudong.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing views of an amazing city! We also prefer Pudong to the other side of the river. Excellent concierge, they helped me locate a very expensive Loro Piana stole that I'd lost in a museum. Very good wifi, had no issues uploading hundreds of photos to iCloud and downloading to other devices.
Cons: There were electricity outlets on only one side of the bed.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The bed was really cozy and really loved bathroom :) I and my husband really enjoy our time to staying there.
Cons: The light was a bit darker than we thought :) but not too much bothering us
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great city views from the 80th floor - and even better from the breakfast room at the 91st. Spacious, elegant and comfortable. Even working from the room is great fun! And having a bath in about 350m above the ground the more...
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room was big and gorgeous with fantastic bathroom facilities. The view was terrific when it was a clear day/night. All in all, it was a great stay in a very classy hotel, and a very good value for the money.
Cons: The location in Pudong is far from the best neighborhoods to visit in Shanghai. There’s nothing the hotel can do about that, and it’s probably not an issue for most business visitors, but it’s an extra hassle to get in and out of Pudong for a tourist.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice pool, and all staff very helpful.
Cons: Gym was rather small.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really nice hotel and big rooms. Bathtub was cool. Nice view up there.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The concierge and staff in general were exceptionally helpful, even offering to help overtime. Their eagerness to please was greatly appreciated and quite honestly, the staff made my stay at Park Hyatt Shanghai memorable (also the reason I'd consider returning).
Cons: he hotel is in the heart of the financial district which makes sense for a lot of guests who are in town for business. For me, it was too far from everywhere I needed to be, especially for nightlife (most good restaurants and bars are on the other side of town). The hotel is also starting to show its age...the rooms are well appointed but feel very lived in. Overall, this was an excellent stay, and it's hard to fault the hotel on anything...all hotels age. But with new players in town, Park Hyatt is not the definite go-to hotel in town anymore.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: good varaity of food catering for all types of people
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Overall lighting of the premise & in the room was too dim. Could be brighter
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is a great place to stay in the down-town Shanghai. If you wish to stay in the clouds, go for this hotel. That is all. Highly recommended. We had a great time. The swimming pool on 85F is also excellent.

Pros: We were very happy with our stay at the Grand Kempinski Hotel. The hotel room was roomy, clean, and had a great view. The staff was very friendly, efficient, and always ready to help. Coming back to our room, after seeing the sights, we were surprised every day with fruit and every evening with ice. We only ate the breakfast one morning, but it was excellent and had a wide variety of food. We enjoyed the bars (the top bar has a great view of the city), the gym, and the pool, which also has a great view. Overall, it was a marvelous experience. Thank you!
5.1 Okay
Pros: Everything started so negative, that it was difficult to appreciate anything.

Cons: Portman restaurant was below the standards of a hotel like Ritz-Carlton. Breakfast was great though.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: This facility offers very comfortable beds and an excellent morning breakfast buffet. It's my go-to hotel when I am in Shanghai on business.
Cons: My room had a clear space for an iron, but it was missing. The hair dryer was cracked and broken, though it still operated. The shower door did not close well, and after every usage, there would be a significant puddle of water on the floor outside the shower (or a fully soaked towel).

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was welcoming and very helpful
Cons: Since its a worldwide hotel i think it should be mentioned in the menu if the food is halal( can be eaten by muslims) or not.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing I like, horrible hotel
Cons: Very strong mouldy smell room, poor service, dirty bed sheet and cover. How could this hotel use the IGH brand!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Large clean room with nice appointments. Power outlets by bed. Long shelf under TV was handy. GREAT SHOWER!!
Cons: Slight smoky smell at times. From other rooms? or poorly filtered air from outside?
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location of the hotel is convenient. Decent value for money. Connect to shops, restaurants, and close to subway. The best hotel in the Wujiaochang / Fudan University campus area. Good place for holding corporate events too.
Cons: Sound proof was poor. I was in a room facing the elevated road on 15 floor and the noise was still very loud day and night. Also the connection to shops and restaurants are closed between 10pm-10am.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location of the property is great, near the metro station that goes to all city attractions. the hotel itself is modern and clean with all the facilities.
Cons: breakfast is poor for the amount you pay. if you come after 9 a.m. there is almost nothing left, so it's better to have breakfast in the mall, where is a big choice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent Hotel!!
7.5 Good
Pros: The amenity is well equipped and the room is spacious.
Cons: To be honest I'm really disappointed by the hotel services and how the customer requests were handled during my stay, regardless how modern/luxury the room is itself. The mgmt of customer request is a sheer chaos. Several facts: 1) We had been kept reminding the hotel for *three weeks* before the check-in date that we'd like all of five reserved rooms to be allocated on the same floor and as neighbouring to each other as possible, when possible, selecting the highest floor. It turned out on the check-in date that two of them were on the 11th floor and the remaining three were on the 23rd. When asking why our rooms were split onto different floors and why they didn't plan the room allocation ahead of time, hotel replied that they simply don't do it. The additional notes/requirements were removed just because we requested them by different calls and some of previous recorded notes may be overwritten due to possible staff errors... 2) We requested for an extra bed in one of the rooms. Although we amended the requests a few times, there is only one extra bed to be added after all. After the check-in, we found out there was another extra bed in a different room other than we expected. 3) The hotel still asked for deposits during check-in, despite that I told them that I've already given the authorization hold via my credit card on booking.com. The hotel said they "couldn't find my authorizations" and hence asked for deposit for another time. It wasn't until booking.com made contact with the hotel that they found that my authorizations were indeed there and the authorizations weren't release even after I checked out all of my rooms. 4) We requested the hotel to park one car on the ground floor instead of the car park on Saturday due to a special reason. On Friday the staff said the hotel agreed but it was not honored on that day. The security team said they didn't get informed at all.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice and clean facilities and well designed rooms; especially the bathrooms. The staff was helpful and speaking good English! Even though the hotel is located a bit outside of the city center in Wujiaochang, it is very convenient to go further downtown by taking the metro line 10, which is in walking distance. Wujiaochang itself offers many opportunities to go shopping and great food places.
Cons: Even though deposits are common in China, there was a comparatively quite high deposit in this hotel. Would be ideal if this would be announced in the booking procedure!
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Breakfast was so oriental. I mean its a western brand and they should care more of ppl who might not like mandarine food and are looking for more of a continental or western options
5.0 Okay
Cons: Very bad treatment from Front desk staff Max Zheng, very rude attitude, no etiquette at all, even let the other customer to cut off when I checked in, further to use a rhetorical question towards me, unbelievable that’s the service from Hyatt
8.3 Excellent
Pros: This is a beautiful hotel with large rooms and a comfortable bed. The hotel was in great condition and very clean. The shower was very pleasant and all the accessories you need were provided (tooth paste, toothbrush, comb, razor, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, nail file). The breakfast was tasty and had lots of options.
Cons: The hotel location is not central. It is well connected on the metro but if your main aim is sightseeing count on a journey everytime you head out. The receptionists were friendly but did not speak a whole lot of English so most were not able to help when asked for directions.

Pros: Good location, nice view and nice room.
Cons: The concierge need to update the names of the show that are happening in which expo area because when i asked the concierge where is the show we want to attend but they could not know even though it right next to the hotel. 4.3 Okay
Cons: no clear answer for payments especially in booking
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The view on the 21st floor was spectacular !!! We are facing the famous Huangpu River and the Nanpu Bridge. We also marvel at the panoramic view of Lujiazui, the Financial district of Shanghai from our room. I'm so glad, Mr. Kim Jin at the reception counter was so kind to us and he upgraded our room for free! The selection of foods for breakfast was extraordinary and taste so good. The chefs are very good and attentive to the guests. They even recognized us the day after and they memorized what we like and how we like our eggs to be cooked. The waiter also memorized how we liked our coffee ( for my husband, it should be half cup brewed coffee and half hot water, mine should be very hot) Excellent ! The staff in the restaurant , reception , concierge can speak english and are very accomodating. They go extra mile to help us or attend to our needs. We also liked that the hotel has the money changer machine because it is very convenient for us because we will no longer go out. The JBL speaker and bose sound system added to the homey feel of our room. The internet connection in our room and anywhere in the hotel was fast. The bathroom was really huge ! with 2 lavatories, separate shower and toilet and a big bath tub. One thing very recognizable in this hotel is the cleanliness. Our room was really clean and orderly. Indeed, our experience in Intercontinental Shanghai Expo is unforgettable !
Cons: The location of the hotel was quite far from Nanjing. It was also very hard to find a taxi from the Expo Center so we walked from there to the hotel which took us about 45 minutes.
4.5 Okay
Cons: The room is not very clean and the toilet is smelly. The room service staff does not clear the used coffee presser.

Cons: no jacuzzi, poor choice of tee on breckfast,
7.0 Good
Pros: The location of the hotel is very good.
Cons: The staff treated you as if they were the Police. They followed me... radio me... and basically i felt that the culture difference was very evident. While I was eating breakfast the waitress handed me the bill in the middle of my meal and literally stood next to me with the bill in her hands. Then i asked her to leave it on the table and the staff kept me on constant watch as though i was goingto run out without paying the bill... eventhough i was a guess with 3 days stay remaining. To make matters worse they began radio each others about me ... CRAZY AND RUDE.
7.0 Good
Pros: Spacious room and good amenities for the price.
Cons: One particular check-in staff was difficult. When we approach her at her opened front desk, she was not serving anyone, but she immediately told us she is serving another customer, and the customer went to make a phone call. She asked us wait till the person came back before serving us....we stood there and waited for 5mins and the guy still isn't back. what kind of logic is that?? what if the person is away for 30 mins on a call? I said: please serve us while he is away and you can go back to serve him when he comes back. She argued then served us rudely..... anyway, not the right attitude for a hotel front desk staff.
7.5 Good
Cons: I have to call to get the razor and shaving cream.
