Note, most of the above hotel stays are business trips. Good points - friendly, helpful staff, beautiful grounds, decent food. Room on the small side (large differences in the comparative sizes of exec rooms). Lack of decent indoor communal space/ proper bar or lounge area to relax in.
I really enjoyed my stay here, they have a great focus on the local environment, the views were great and the Laver bread and cockle breakfast was absolutely amazing!
The location is peaceful and sublime, the hotel is of great character combining the austere external appearance of the building with contemporary and stylish interiors. There is a small bar in the gallery above the restaurant but no convivial bar with comfortable chairs to sink into after a day out.
The location was beautiful, the staff were excellent, just the perfect weekend getaway
A total chill out. Staff were excellent. Food and room first class.Host very welcoming. Only critiscm was that we were not made aware ot the bar above restaurant.
Magnificent location. Wonderful area. Good food, generally reasonably priced Room too small for double occupancy. Undersized door. Too many fittings not working or in need of attention. No radio channels at all on the supposedly high tech digital tv. Unusual layout of buildings means you would never find some facilities unless shown. (We were not) a fixed price menu with a £10 supplement on one of the two main courses is unacceptable.
The isolation of Slebech Park was very attractive; we had a feeling that the facilities were taylor-made for us alone. Very special. The lack of immediate information from Reception staff about the facilities available to us (public lounge areas etc) upon arrival. Would have been good to have this information when we checked in at Reception.
Beautiful location and accommodation excellent . Lovely place for some romance Food excellent but expensive.
the hotel was the perfect place where we could relax and take time out from work.
Excellent, welcoming staff to this hidden gem. The accommodation was beyond our expactations and the whole eaperience was unique.
Large clean rooms. Friendly helpful staff available 24 hours a day. Very good quality food at both breakfast and evening meal. Room was way too warm (#34). Fan was already in room, so I guess hotel already knew about the problem !!!
The view on the sea. The room no 5 is next to a fire door can't be noisy when people open and close the door during the night.
Attended an evening Wedding Party that was held in the Hotel so ease of checking in at a very late time 8.30 pm was fast.
This hotel is in an excellent location with breathtaking views across Pembroke and Milford Haven and for exploring South West Wales.
food was great my room to hot
Standard of decor and facilities was very high there were a lot of functions going on so staff were a little stretched but they coped very well and were always helpful, polite and courteous.
views from the restaurant, reasonable breakfast. rather small rooms, a bit pricey for its location.
The room was of more than adequate size with a mega-sized and very comfortable bed The bath was on the small size and the shower/bath fitting impossible to figure out. The buffet breakfast was very "tired"
Rooms were great, easy check in, food and beer very nice, very comfortable with lots of parking
Location for event attending & price good for type of hotel. Taking the price I paid I beleive the product is good value for money.
location i had a room with no view plus the restaurant had none at all
Services flexible. Food and ambience without too much pretension but excellent. Wine list very good. Room comfortable. Whole ambience very welcoming and calming. We will definitely come again. No.
Pleasant staff, good food, comfortable accomodation.A very enjoyable stay. Nothing worthy of comment.
I arrived very late and left early but thought the staff very helpful and thoughtful. Room and bathroom excellent.
everything it was 10/10 the tv was very small for the size of the room
Quiet and relaxed. Beautifull surroundings and in easy reach of coast and mountains. Lovely little towns to wander around and some truely great tea rooms and bakeries. ideal for older couples who are still adventurous. Menu less choice than previouse visits. also monday breakfast lacking some of menu options and a bit frugal.
Well furnished room [I was up graded to superior] great gardens, good ale & food No rooms/toilets on ground floor, I'd like to take my wife, but without these its difficult.
Comfortable room with good bathroom, friendly staff, good breakfast - and the dinner menu looked good although I did not have the opportunity to enjoy it.
Smart and comfortable bedroom and good, user-friendly bathroom. Bar area and restaurant attractive with a good 'buzz' Exceptionally polite and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. It doesn't have a lounge so if the bar area is full after a meal there is nowhere to sit.
In the ten hours I was there Everything was excellent No
At the the function I attended the catering was first class, and the Hotel was very comfortable.
Peace and quite, a very relaxing location
It was quiet, warm, comfortable and suited my visit perfectly as I was on business and needed to switch off at the end of the day.
Hotel was very comfortable and the peace and quiet was great. Very convenient for my work. Good food. Advertised bar meals. Not available.
The most comfortable bed I have slept in whilst away on business. Normally quite fitful sleeper away from home but bed just right. Good choice of meals and very tasty food on evening menu but further choices would be beneficial. Hotel had feel of countryside get away, away from the hustle and bustle of towns and business. Ideal location for couples quiet retreat for weekends; adventure holidays walking or sightseeing rough Pembroke sea coasts; or seabird/sealife experiences by boat. Bar furniture looking tatty with ripped cloth.
I would say the two things that were good about the stay were the food and the location of the hotel compared to where I was working. Rooms are tired and in need of updating, water supply to bathroom very poor (although I believe work is being carried out there now)
SErvice[although a busey time]was prompt.
Location very convenient to ferry port and easy to find.Friendly and helpful staff Breakfast was served promptly and food was good Building and facilities are old and need a makeover.
the view over the docks not really
Very friendly staff, especially Ceris who was working behind the bar. Pleasant beer garden which we were fortunate enough to use due to the good weather. Good location and easy to find
Nothing. No sea view - looked over a car park. Room on top of the kitchen. Hotel in desperate need of repair.
close to the train station, Brains beer, four-poster bed the ickety wardrobe adn TV cabinet did not match my "ooh" when seeing the four-poster
The members of staff Desperate need of upgrading . Dirty public toilets . Still not received an invoice for my room
It's in a convenient area. I could have very nice dinner & lunch in the Hotel. Large room, excellent view from the room. Couldn't sleep because of the noise from upstairs and a street front of the room. The fist day, I couldn't have a hot water at all. Lan access is poor. Not possible to access to the internet in the room.
The location was the best part of this stay, It was an equal distance from our office and the place of work. Good breakfast. There was no shower in the room. The standard of decoration was very poor with paint flaking. Very noisy floorboards. Could not watch standard tv channels, no bbc1 or bbc2 even after spending time retuning. Wedding party in function room which was directly below the room window which had to be opened as the room was so warm.
