Pros: Very secure and peaceful location. Incredible hosts, top notch accommodation.
Pros: It was amazing. So picturesque. The room itself was fabulous, very big, comfy bed and sofa, amazing views and the shower, well I could have stayed in it forever. The owners are wonderful people, took us to and picked us up form a wedding we were there for, made us reservations at a restaurant and made a beautiful breakfast (try the home made jam). They are genuinely lovely people, nothing was to much. Wish I could have stayed longer.
Pros: Very welcome hosts. Spacious and comfortable room. Great breakfast in the garden.
Cons: All good.
Pros: Beyond our expectations, the host are charming, friendly and went out their way to make us welcome. Plus a fantastic breakfast.
Pros: Everything. Location is truly wonderful, beautiful part of France. Our room was magical, overlooking the river with every thoughtful touch you could need. Amazing comfortable bed, welcome drink and treats etc. Hosts were the best we have had in 9 weeks in Europe, they are outstanding. Breakfast is also generous. There are bikes to borrow and we were even picked up from the Train station and delivered on checkout to our canal boat base. Highly recommend
Pros: Charming, wonderful, quiet and very spacious room overlooking the river with a fantastic little outdoor patio and a rooftop option for dining. The whole place was a small oasis that reflected the hosts' unique sense of style and charm. My hosts were incredibly pleasant, amiable and generous, even when I arrived much earlier than expected (Je vous remerci!). Breakfast was an utter delight; a particular highlight was the delicious home made jams. Highly, highly recommended as a place to stay.
Pros: Fabulous. I'll say it again, Fabulous! Lovely hosts, who opened a bottle of Chablis to welcome us, then we had a pleasant chat about food, golf, attractions, wine, golf.... The room wasn't a room, it was a suite. Beautifully decorated with views down to the river, and quality furnishings. Breakfast phenomenal. Fresh figs off his tree!
Pros: The hosts were so welcoming and friendly. They invited us to have a pre dinner drink with them one night. The breakfasts were amazing, homemade jam, plenty of everything and even had scrambled eggs one morning. They bought an extra fan as the weather was so hot overnight.
Cons: He toilet lid kept dropping down.
Pros: The host was friendly and extremely helpful. The proximity to a river was special.
Cons: Door bell and entrance board will help.
Pros: Our hosts were outstanding. It was like staying with friends. Generous, helpful and attentive. Highly recommend.
With a stay at Hotel Particulier La Gobine in Joigny, you'll be 0.4 mi (0.6 km) from St. Jean Church and 17.2 mi (27.6 km) from Auxerre Cathedral.
Pros: The warm welcome of the owner. The quality in every details : from the decoration to the food. The fact that there is only 3 rooms, the intimacy of the place.
Pros: Very pleasant stay with charming hosts and excellent breakfast.
Pros: Everything was perfect we could not fault a thing we had spend a fantastic week on a canal boat and this was the perfect finish to the week 100% recommend it to anyone wanting stay in Joigny
Cons: We liked everything
Pros: We were delighted by the warm and gentle welcome we received. The villa is exceptionally tastefully decorated with an eye for style and detail. Breakfast exceeded all expectations: everything was fresh and beautifully displayed on the table in a the one of a kind and stylish breakfast room. Definitely recommended.
Cons: Joigny itself was very quiet. Most shops and restaurants are closed on Mondays. That is also the case in nearby Auxerre. However, Sylvie arranged a table for us in a nice restaurant during our visit of Auxerre. So no problem really.

Pros: We hired electric bikes from France a Velo and the facilities for leaving our cars for a week and leaving our bikes in the shed for France a Velo were very helpful.
Pros: The food was outstanding
Pros: The staff and facilities really exceeded our expectations. The staff was friendly beginning with the email exchanges, continuing through check-in and dinner, and they were especially helpful when we ran into trouble getting transportation on Sunday morning. They even stored our market purchases (there's a great Saturday AM Market in Joigny) in their fridge overnight. It was a wonderful stay.
Pros: The service in the hotel and restaurant was excellent. The. beautiful gardens, trees and views over the Yonne river made the setting so quiet and tranquil
Pros: Decent hotel. Lovely situation be river. Rooms fairly simple. Good breakfast.
Cons: Thought they might have been able to find a place in the restaurant for hotel guests. Lovely sunny evening - so there was also additional capacity outside, and we were flexible on time. Had received an email when first booked hotel months ago, but if essential to book then why not contact closer to date of stay and explain that table cannot be guaranteed. Worse still they were not able to recommend a restaurant. Not an impressive start to stay after a long journey.
Pros: The breakfast is good quality, the refurbished rooms are very good
Cons: One of the wait staff was very rude- when we complained the manager claimed that she didn’t understand us - food was ok but we had a cheese platter to finish - looked like a 6 year old prepared it
Pros: Pleasant Stay but the food was very much overpriced compared with other restaurants of the same standard.
Cons: Pricing in Restaurant
Pros: Nice location and the scenic view of the town and the river from the terrace.
Cons: Room was really warm. Airco couldnt keep up with the heat outside.
Pros: The staff was delightful and very kindly ensured there was Soya milk available for me.
Cons: For me the bed was a little hard (I like memory mattresses). We had no chairs in the bedroom and, as we only had cereal for breakfast, that made it rather expensive.
Pros: Ideally situated on the banks of the River Yonne. Most delightful restaurant. Always love going back there.

Pros: The building and grounds are beautiful. And we enjoyed the most amazing dinner by Chef Jean Michel...so many courses so little time!!!
Cons: Nothing should be changed!
Pros: Place very historic and some of our friends rooms We’re nice
Cons: Staff not very friendly or accommodating. One man spent the entirety of our stay standing next to the desk Looking miserable. Our room was very dated and no view at all. Not like the pictures on the website! Breakfast very expensive for what it was. Felt like the staff constantly asked us if we were eating in the two Michelin star restaurant as though it was a prerequisite of staying in the hotel. No pool. Wouldn’t return.
Pros: Nice hotel with nice facilities. The staff is really nice and kind and they accommodated our requests. Hot tub overlooking the river was also really nice,

Pros: Clean, comfortable room.
Cons: A bit too far out of town. Building looks a bit run down from the outside.
Cons: Reception not attended except for arrivals and payments in advance. No bar or evening meal Sat or Sun. Had to go outside to other building for breakfast. Strong toilet smell in this building in mornings.
Pros: The staff were very helpful and polite, the rooms are very spacious and clean. The hotel is very tranquil and well located. would have liked the car park to be within the building but that is me being picky because the car park was very safe and the area too was very safe.
Cons: The car park but that is just me looking for something to moan about.
Pros: Good value

Pros: Efficiently run hotel in a very convenient location for airport.
Pros: Very comfortable and clean, very decent breakfast and the staff were very polite. Beautiful riverside town.
Cons: It was a bit of a trek from the station but if you're driving, this place is great.
Pros: Not much - just about ok for an overnight stay but wouldn't return.
Cons: An out of town hotel on an industrial site. No A/C and windows that open onto a 24/7 noisy industrial unit! Very basic and no info for the customer.
Cons: Breakfast failed misserably and definately not value for money
