Pros: Terrace with a view to the fields and trees is also very pleasing. Friendly English speaking hosts and a nice chat over good breakfast. This property welcomes people with disabilities. Our room was equipped with three motorized beds with remote controls, which could be a very nice bonus for people who need special sleeping conditions. Shower room is spacious and also equipped foe disabled. It has a sliding door necessary railings and handles.
Cons: Some people traveling in a company may find sliding room in a shower room is not a good idea because of the low sound isolation.
Pros: Although a tad difficult to find - the main address was not in my satnav, the directions on booking.com were accurate. The owner is incredibly lovely - great English and very enthusiastic. The place is a French farmhouse, modern enough without being super new. How you hope rural france will stay
Pros: Excellent location in the Bugey area with a very friendly and helpful host who spoke excellent English. A large and comfortable room and a good breakfast.
Cons: Only the flies in the bedroom, but we were of course on a working farm!
Pros: Olivier was a great host and whilst we do speak a little French he was happy to make time to chat with us in his very good English after he returned from the farm. Shared kitchen facilities were useful, just remember to remove your picnic lunch from the fridge when you are leaving- unlike us! Lovely view from the balcony whilst watching the sun go down. The scenery in the area was a nice surprise for us and we'll be definitely be back to explore the area further rather than just the overnight stay that we did this time. Breakfast was on the decking along with the 2 other guests and Olivier who was happy to talk about his farm, the local area and life in general; lovely to meet his dad too.
Pros: Quiet location, very friendly hosts
Pros: A genuine welcome from our hosts who treated us as personal guests, gave us their farm produce to try, provided a lovely breakfast in the morning and then a tour of their organic farm. The 2 spacious guest rooms, located in an annexe with adjoining kitchen/diner, had wonderful views over the terrace to adjacent fields and hills beyond.
Pros: very helpful and friendly owner, super location - lots to see and walks to enjoy.

Pros: This an old fashioned French hotel catering for the commercial traveller. It was friendly and comfortable but could do with modernisation
Cons: I don't like it when the website photos show something like a restaurant but doesn't make clear that the restaurant is NOT part of the hotel. Breakfast was "French", you'll know what I mean
Pros: Very friendly staff, best restaurant and lovely chef within the hotel.
Pros: Pont d'Ain is a lovely village and the owners couldn't have been more helpful
Cons: The decor needs a bit of a refresh but all the important things were good.
Pros: Good location, friendly staff.
Cons: No kettle in room.
Pros: Breakfast was good ,checking in and out was smooth and late night access to the property was made simple with the keypad on the front door.
Cons: Although the fan in the room cooled me down it would be better if all rooms had Aircon (less noisy)
Pros: Well located - but parking extra or on a busy road. Bed was comfortable, bathroom very dated. Hotel is quite a good spot for one night when you are just stopping over. Breakfast was not that thrilling - bakeries everywhere but we got served convenience food.

Pros: The bedrooms were fine.
Cons: Nothing of the hotel was open, no provision to supply breakfast, although the bakery next door was recommended. Restaurant did not open until Thursday, which was no good for us staying on Wednesday. No parking on site and only limited parking in the nearby square.
Pros: The Hotel is good located, in a quiet street. The rooms are tiny, but clean. There was no TV, and the furniture is basic, with doubtful taste. The beds are confortable, and the WC is nice and renewed, very small shower, but works good.
Cons: The front Hotel door did not close, no matter how much we tried - needs to be fixed. Everything else ok for the price.
Pros: Nice area
Cons: Over priced. Disappointing. Deceiving.
Pros: coffe and croissant in a local cafe
Cons: Tiny, groggy room and the bathroom
Pros: Beautiful little town very quite and peaceful
Cons: Room very small for a family room, breakfast to expensive for only croissant and bread
Pros: Rooms and bathroom were clean. Air conditioning worked well with easy controls. Good shower. Reasonable range of TV channels. Good restaurant (located in a separate building a few steps away) . Relaxed check-in without any worries about late arrival. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Soundproofing in the rooms was very poor and we were kept up till very late by a noisy family next to us. Our family room was on the small side (double and 2 bunk beds). Wardobe/clothes storage is somewhat basic.
Pros: Everything. The place was clean, staff were friendly and lovely town. Value for money. We had a 1night stop over
Pros: Extremely friendly place perfect stop after a long drive from Greece ! Excellent pizza restaurant too
Cons: Little difficult to find in the dark
