Pros: The location was wonderful. We enjoyed using the outdoor kitchen/ eating area and sitting by the stream around the log fire. Our hosts were extremely welcoming and very informative about local points of interest. Our room was comfortable and clean with a separate large private bathroom. The continental breakfast was lovely at a time suited to us.
Cons: We couldn't think of anything that we didn't like.

Pros: The owners met us on arrival and were very pleasant and informative and spoke great English. Our room was excellent, very comfortable and quiet. The sound of the nearby river was beautiful as were the walks around the garden. There was plenty of information in the room showing places to eat and to visit. Our breakfast was superb, great variety including beautiful homemade jams. Overall we highly recommend the B&B.
Cons: None
10.0 Excellent
Pros: General feel about the place , very helpful people.
Cons: I thought the Chambre sign was far to small, not what I am used to, I have stayed in many Chambre D’ dôtes in France over the last 30 years, all have much bigger and clearer signs. This was was miniscule. Did tell the owner but he didn ‘ t appear to like with my comment. It was low down about 600 mm above the ground, not the best place to put it plus it was so small.I actually passed it three times before some one else I had stopped for info, told me. However, good place to stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Helpful and friendly host family; isolated location with excellent outdoor facilities on small stream; near town for convenient shopping.

Cons: No faults at all
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful house with a separated area for the guests of the B&B. Own little kitchen, possibility to do some washing (we were cycling so washing is absolutely necessary every few days). Paul and Janny were so friendly to show us everything and help with whatever we needed. Breakfast is amazing - not just marmelade and pastries, but lots more! We enjoyed most being able to build a little fire in an iron oven by the little river to stay outside in the evening and keep away the Normandy chill. Would have loved to stay longer!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything was excellent: the hosts, the breakfasts, the room and all facilities provided. Beautiful setting with stream and lovely garden in a quiet relaxing setting. The hosts were more than friendly and helpful, fantastic service. Nice little outdoor kitchenette and beautiful new bathroom for exclusive use. Would definitely stay again if in the area. We stay in many B&B's and this definitely rates as one of the best.

You know what it’s like to have a great pillow and mattress? Well they have that. The breakfast was homemade and couldn’t have been better. We were very late arriving and they were very accommodating staying up for us, without a guilt trip I might add. Definitely stay here again.

3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Not a great deal to be honest. This was a very poor stop on our journey. Utterly disgusted with the treatment received by the owners. Steer Clear of this accommodation- Extremely unfriendly owners.
Cons: We arrived at the property only to be told that they were expecting one person for a four bed room, we hadn't experienced this in any other stops along our journey. The hostesses extremely hostile and stood on the porch crossed arms demanding more money before we could enter the room, they also made myself, husband and two children wait outside the property at night whilst they prepared the room. Breakfast consisted of apple compote and dry bread with preserve. Very poor for the money. The owners had other guests and as we enter the property and actually closed the dining room door on my family whilst they entertained their 'other' guests. This was not a language thing as my family speak fluent french. At breakfast we were informed that we must fill out a book stating our names and uk address as it was for the Gendarmies and obligatory for all 'foreigners' that stayed there, no other guests staying were asked to complete this book. Yesterday I received a complaint from bookings.com to say that the owners had complained about me breaking their rules by arriving with my family unannounced which is untrue as I had to type in all names arriving and had booked a four bed room. We stayed there one night and to be honest if there was somewhere else to go I would have rather than stay there. We were made to feel very uncomfortable!!!!
10.0 Excellent

Our hosts recommended places to eat nearby. The bedrooms were really lovely, traditional with a modern touch. Beautiful upholstery and bed linen. The room was spotless. The bathroom was immaculate, fantastic modern shower, lovely fluffy towels. Breakfast was equally as good. Great coffee, homemade bread and jams. Wish we'd been staying more then just one night. Would definitely stay again.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice setting in a beautiful location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh. The room was very quiet and had an exeptionally great view.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What an experience! We were welcomed by the owner of the chateau and shown to our room which was on the second floor with dual aspect views over beautiful countryside and the family swan. We booked in to have dinner and came down at 8pm, not really knowing what to expect. We were shown into the lounge and introduced to the two other couples who were booked for dinner, a German couple and a French couple. We were given an aperitif and nibbles and everyone managed a conversation of sorts. Dinner was served in the dining room at a large table which accommodated us all and the food was amazing! At the end of the evening, Madame was so generous, showing us a book of the architecture we were likely to see on our onward travels, it was lovely. Breakfast was again taken with the owners and other guests and as we left, the owners stood on the chateau steps to wave us off. This one will stay in our memories for a very long time.
Cons: It was perfect.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This Chateau is placed in a privileged position that allows an spectacular view. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The place is an old Chateau, its furniture and decoration give it the right atmosphere of luxury and relaxation. The property allows you to have a nice walk and enjoy around. 6.8 Good
Pros: The chateau was beautiful set in amazing grounds. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was nice .
Cons: When we arrived they didn’t know we were coming and we actually were made to feel we shouldn’t be there. The room we were given was pleasant but very small and narrow and did not have en suite facilities. We were not given the use of towels and the lock on the shared toilet didn’t lock. They really need to keep in communication with the Booking.com system as the arrival experience at the start did spoil our stay.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very loveley place, completely decorated in castle style but with all modern comforts. Diner cooked by the hostess was very nice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Phillippe could not do enough for us. His breakfast's were delicious and the evening meals were worth every penny. His knowledge of the Chateaux is brilliant. The Chateaux is outstanding and even his swan is brilliant. Stayed five nights, wish it could of been longer.
