Beautiful hotel, nice ambience, breakfast, staff
The room itself didn´t feel as luxurious as the lobby, but it was very cozy too.
Ourstanding hotel for couples as the atmosphere is chic, luxurious, (in a "B&B way) and the breakfast way, way above average, Staff were friendly and welcoming, and the room was beautifully decorated. It is the type of hotel my husband and I like to stay in whereever we go, and the best we stayed in while in Finland. Wish we could have stayed longer. The phrase "boutique" hotel fits perfectly.
We had 3 charming rooms - all different themes. We appreciated the old world feeling of the hotel and pride of ownership really shows. Staff was great. Excellent free breakfast. Hotel restaurant is top-notch with local gourmet cuisine. Easy parking.
There is no elevator and best rooms and only a/c are on top (3rd) floor. Window shades in one of the rooms was not blackout, which can be a problem during midsummer.
Unique boutique hotel in Aalto's hometown/city. The atmosphere is relaxing and friendly, with great breakfast selections. The hotel restaurant, Pöllöwaari, has excellent innovative finnish cruisine.
The atmosphere was very pleasant, sauna was very good (it is a good idea to order the separate time for the sauna for each person or group of people) and the breakfast was delicious.
Our room was a little bit small.
Amazing home-made breakfast, very cozy room, relaxing sauna facilities, friendly staff
Everything was done to make us feel welcome and we were lucky enough to be upgraded to one of the suites - absolutely fabulous! Given a voucher for a complimentary drink in the bar. Also a rarity in Europe - tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Breakfast was superb - freshly cooked omelette was perfect.
People booking should be aware there is no lift.
This hotel was elegant and friendly. The decor was beautiful using antiques and decorative items everywhere throughout. Staff was superb! Breakfast was very good. Outstanding amongst the hotels we stayed during our trip to Finland. Highly recommended.
Veyr nice hotel located in the city. The somelier was very helpful and spend a lot of time with us, informing about different choices. Great service.
