nice, quiet place. no
it's view and the swimming pool the cabin of the bathroom was damaged and the whole room was a little narrow and small.
A little bit too far from the beach and and port (20 mn by walk Leak of the toilet flush
The room was clean and nice. There was a fridge and a nice balcony. The hotel is close to the port and "chora".
Reception frequently not staffed.
The family athmosphere and friendliness of the owners, just fantastic, felt like home away from home.
Excellent service and great breakfasts. Nice big airy rooms with balconies. Two swimming pools. Good proximity to beach
professional yet warm and welcoming, they've thought of just about everything, very baby/kid friendly, nice location, 10 min. walk to beach
The room was clean and spacious and the close proximity to the beach were the main plus points. For a four star hotel the staff seemed disinterested and the place lacked atmosphere. There was no orange "juice" at breakfast just orange drink made with water. Most balconies were overlooked by two neighbouring hotels and lacked privacy. The orientation of the hotel seemed all wrong.
Highly experienced staff. Eager to help, friendly and available. I strongly requested a non smoking room in my booking comments and upon saying my name they remembered it and asked if the room will be ok and it was ! Huge bed, nice bathroom and balcony, cleaning staff even folded our pajamas ! Beach 5mn by foot, rent a car to visit the rest of the island.
The service was excellent, it included transfer service, the proximity to the great beaches and other services walking distance, rooms were all very new and clean. Cannot wait to return! They need to install fans or try some way to keep the flies from the dinning area. Dinner preparation needs improvement tasted like frozen vegies etc.
The staff was incredible no
Everything! The room was beautiful - bed was great - shower fantastic but the staff were the one thing that really stood out. They were stupendous - very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was just perfect as well. We really loved the location - just far enough away from the madness and very close to that spectacular beach. Not a thing.
Wonderful staff. Near to best beach on Naxos.
The room was very nicely furnished, not so sterile and basic like the average hotel room. Our room was tasteful and romantic. The breakfast was very good: fresh rolls every day and, good range of food. Also useful: there was a safe in the room. The location is good: only a short walk to the beach and to the town centre (both less than 5 minutes to walk). The staff is very helpful and offered us to drive us to the harbour when we left. I can recommend it without hesitation. There was nothing I did not like.
The hotel and staff were brilliant
Pleasent surrooundings, friendly & helpful staff All pretty good, did hear donkies & roosters at all hours in the morning but such is life in greece
Friendly staff, helpful, good location, beautifully maintained. Pool and gardens lovely.
Excellent choice when you are looking for friendly place and people. Studio is run by the Greek family so there is home-like atmosphere.Clean, neat, quiet place for holiday. Very helpful owners who organize everything you may need - even when returning a car to rent-a-car it may be picked up from the studio. We will be back to Ikaros Studios for sure.
The pool was the main feature for us.. Great to have one on such a low budget. Town was walking distance away and a supermarket only 3min walk. Staff were great and the atmosphere was relaxed. Not a huge problem but havnt the Greeks heard of a double bed!? Everywhere we stayed had two single (usually hard wooden framed) beds just stuck together
This is a bit of a conundrum. It's about a 15 minute walk out of town and 10 mins to the beach so there is places with a better location around the Island. However it is clean with a lovely pool and a few cooking facilities if thats what you want. The Hotel grounds are immaculate but his neighbours are anything but house proud, rubbish everywhere. Not central to Naxos
Friendly staff and only a 15 minute walk into Naxos town..Supermarket only 100 metres away and delivery into town for our ferry departure. Ran out of hot water each day.
It's a great place to stay, the apartment was setup with everything you need, the rooms are the cleanest we have stayed in. The whole place is very well maintained, the pool is very clean and gets sun all day long. wifi service was excellent and available in most of the apartment and always strong external to the room and in the pool area. The supermarket is very close, just around the corner with an easy walk to town and bus stop. The owners are a lovely family, we could have stayed forever!! We will stay here again for sure, september is the perfect month to be here, no crowds and great weather!
Very nice facilities. Great location - very close to grocery store and short drive (or walk) to Naxos town. Owners very friendly and welcoming and helped arrange for transportation rental. Bed could have been more comfortable.
Very friendly owner, who very kindly provided free transport to ferry port on departure. He laos offered to arrange cheap car hire for us but we didn't take this up because our stay was so short. Lovely swimming pool and well tended garden. Comfortable bed. Very good supermarket nearby. Nice fellow guests. The walk into town centre took about 15 minutes and was not particularly pleasurable because of traffic. It was not a problem for us as we only stayed 2 nights but might become tedious if you were staying longer and didn't have a car.
I have stayed in lots of hotels all my life, some were luxurous, some had great views, some had beautiful rooms but this hotel is one of the hotel I will never forget, rooms are beautiful and clean, 3 minutes to beach on foot, but the owners and the girl at the reception are the most amazing people I have ever met, very helpful and beautiful in personality. I want to recommend this hotel highly, dont hesitate just book there a room
This family owned hotel is charming. The stuffing is friendly. Hotel is very clean. I got a room with ocean view. The breakfast is very impressive. Owner's wife prepares the breakfast very morning. You always got something different every morning. one minute walk to the beach. Great value. This place feels like home. I like Naxos and I enjoyed my stay at Kymata. Highly recommended.
Our stay at Kymata Hotel was lovely. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the rooms are clean and pretty with a balcony. We also had a good view. The bathrooms were also great. We found it rather hard to communicate with the owner of the hotel, but the daughter who did speak English was able to check us out. The service was friendly.
The Hotel was close to the beach and close to the town! Nice view on the ocean! Good breakfast and really nice staff! The hotel is in a typical greece style and we definetly would come back! All perfect The bed is bit hard but if you like that no problem!
The people who run the hotel were fabulous and very welcoming, we felt like we were staying in their home! We booked one of the roof top rooms which has a huge terrace with views of St. George's Beach as well as the town of Naxos. The location to both the beach and the town were fantastic. The breakfast was great and very filling. The top 2 rooms are great because they are large and have a shared terrace with fantastic views however the other rooms in the hotel had tiny balconies that would be difficult to hold more than 2 people.
This is a family run hotel, which created a very warm and friendly atmosphere. Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. I am diabetic and needed some help one morning and they couldn't do enough for me and took great care. They even gave me a little parting gift from Naxos and took me to and from the port to the hotel. The hotel itself has recently been revenovated and decorated to the highest standard, with beautiful furnishings. The rooms are painted in pastel colours with fresh and silk flowers throughout. A truly beautiful hotel offering a marvellous experience.
By far one of the best places I've ever stayed! The owners are the sweetest people on earth. When we arrived in the hotel we were met with a warm smile and a complimentary drink from super amazing staff! Location is perfect with a nice rooftop overlooking the beach. I'm definitely staying there again and highly highly highly recommend it for everyone! :)
Windmill is very conveniently located; near the Agios Giorgios beach and near the Old Town. The rooms were clean and recently renovated with taste. The patron George is very helpful and efficient and speaks English. A very good price-quality relationship. The "kitchenette" doesn't include a sink; we had to wash dishes in the toilet lavabo. In one of our two rooms the showerplace was really small.
There is nothing to critize. For that price, everything is super! Very friendly owner. Nothing at all
Nice cosy place and very clean rooms. Useful kitchenette to make some quick grub. George was nice and was by the pier to pick us up pretty late in the night. Perfect location not far from the waterfront and yet a quiet area. If you intend to use a place to be able to sleep comfortably and spend most of the time out, i recommend this place.
George the hotel manager was very helpful in pointing out sights to see and also in picking us up and returning us to the port on time. The hotel was nice and clean and had a nice private terrace as well. It's about a 15 minute walk to the port and about 10 minutes to the main part of the town. All in all very good!
Very nice place, good location close to everything, very helpfull staff and a nice balcony to every room The showers shiftet between hot and cold water all the timne, but that was just a small thung
George and his parents were lovely. George collected us from the ferry at no extra charge. The hotel is very well located in Naxos. Very close to the beech and also to the centre of the town.
Staff is very kind! Position: near the beach and the town: perfect! The bathroom is not good at all. And the shower... :(
George was very helpful, and the beach was very close
The owner is very nice. The room are comfortable.
Windmill has an excellent location, just a short walk from the delightful beach of Agios Giorgos and about five to ten minutes from the town and port. Restaurants and shops are plentiful. You can also take the local bus to other parts of the island. The room was basic but suited us fine - the fridge and hob were good for making our own breakfasts and lunches. The owners were very friendly and gave us a bottle of wine.
the breakfasts, friendly hotel owners, great location, excellent value for money. Will definitely return! small shower,
The cosy ambience and welcoming staff .
It was very clean. Bed was uncomfortable and room was very small. The shower was tiny, taking a shower was not very comfortable.
The family owned hotel staff were very welcoming and friendly, answered all of my questions and were very helpful.
The owner and his familty made you feel very welcome in their establishment and were extremely helpful with suggestions on how to enjoy your stay on the island.
The staff/owners are wonderful hosts, my room was clean and well kept room, and the hotel location was great! The hotel is walking distance to town and also a short walk to good beaches for swimming. The owners are totally delightful, they make you feel like you are a guest in their home; George had great suggestions for what to visit/see as well as picked me up at the airport and delivered me to the ferry port. And my room had recently been redecorated/renovated..so bathroom fixtures and tile were new. nothing.; I would stay here again and would definitely recommend it to friends if they were planning to visit the island.
The family is very welcoming and helpful with ideas and ways to see the island, very friendly. Nice breakfast, laundry service across street, quiet and convenient. They need full size pillows on the bed and to replace or fix lamps next to bed, the only working light was the very bright ceiling light. I didn't say anything to them since they were so nice but am sure they would've done something!
Very nice and honest people to call a cat a cat: it is obviously overpriced
The Gallini is an ideal tourist hotel. Clean, attractive rooms in a central but satisfying location just steps from beaches, the waterfront, and cafe/shopping districts. Its operated by a lovely and helpful family headed by an old sea captian, his charming wife Sophia and their two helpful adult sons. Be sure to get son George's free and knowledgable help for planning local island adventures.
Friendly staff. Rooms clean.
Friendly staff and good location
The family running the hotel is exceptionally pleasent and accommodating. The rooms are well-priced, large, clean, and comfortable. I would stay here again without giving a second thought.
Owner was very welcoming and helpful. Nice atmosphere, relaxed. Close to beach.
really friendly and helpful staff, nice swimming pool, clean spacious room with balcony, close to the beach and a selection of tavernas, all in all good value for money, and a lovely family break.
The proprietors/owners are very friendly, accommodating, speak good English, and are well organized. The room was comfortable, entirely adequate, but not luxury, and opened out both sides on to a lovely central area with clean pool, and charming courtyard garden on the other. We found the hotel quiet, a very short walk from the beach and restaurants. If you enjoy privacy, you may feel a bit 'over-looked' here. The buffet breakfast was OK, but lacked variety, and while you won't go hungry, it was not great quality - plus you may get bored of the same things every day. However, there are options in walking distance if you want to opt out.
good location, close to beach, friendly helpful staff, We really enjoyed this pretty little hotel. Should have been clear on washing machine situation. They have one for the hotel, but sounded like there was one in the room. Not a big problem though.
The staff was very helpful, the hotel was beautiful, and the location near the beach was perfect.
Vaggelis (the proprietor) took care of everything! Breakfast, car rental, laundry, internet access, great location.
Very nice staff, good location.
You will not regret staying at Agios Prokopios Hotel. I have never felt more welcomed at a hotel than here. Vaggelis & Effie are some of the nicest people we've met in Greece and really did absolutely everything to make sure we had a great time during our vacation. Our group (6 people) stayed 3 nights here, but really wanted to extend our stay.
clean rooms the road with traffic from the hotel to the center.
We were very well received with a wellcome drink and a botle of Naxo's wine in the room. They had a tranfer from the port so it was very easy to get there. The room was quiet and confortable, with a big balcony with castle view. 10 min walking from the city center.
the hotel has been modernised, is very clean, pick-up and drop-off at the ferry port, hotelier was friendly and informative 5/10 minutes walk to the water front area
Excellent friendly staff, helpful . Very good location, easy walking distance to shopping, restaurants. The room was very clean and nice, furnished with new furniture with really big bathroom. Pick up service from the port and to the port. I would say its more likely 3 star hotel. Excellent quality for the price.
Staff very kind, great skill, very nice position, near to the city centre but no noisy. If you need a silent room, ask to the staff and you'll be satisfied. Transfer from and to the port. Great quality for the price
very helpful and very friendly staff, nice room and bath-room, sat-tv, quite central location, wonderful roof terrace the bed
We loved everything: staff, services, cleanliness and decor of room, comfort, value for money and the hotel's location in Naxos town. We did not expect the noisiness of the street outside the hotel. It was necessary to close the windows (which sealed well and had wonderful noise-reducing and blackout blinds) and to use the AC.
clean, friendly hotel; free transfer to and from ferry I would like better internet access
The hotel proprietor and his wife could not have been nicer. It is a lovely, modern hotel. Not too far from the Old Town.I had a broken ankle while I was there and they helped organise my flight home and getting me on to the ferry. They deserve to have a flourishing business
Meeting Michalis was the first positive (I think he is the owner). He was incredibly nice and energetic. He'll most likely be the one picking you up at the port, giving you information regarding Naxos and marking the important places on a map of the island. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom was superior... it had a shower with a glass door (if you've ever traveled through Greece, you know these are rare). Breakfast was worth the money. It included hard-boiled eggs, homemade jams, bread and pastries, coffee, variety of teas, yogurt, and corn flakes. Pharmacy and restaurants are a few feet away. Overall this hotel exceeded my expectations and it was one of the best hotels I stayed on during my trip. excellent value. I can't say anything negative about Adriani Hotel. Really a great experience.
Location was great. I couple of steps you reach the seaside, nearly 500 metres of walk you reach the harbour.
It was possible to leave after one night. It was not clean, especially the bathroom, no room for clothes and other things, poor service. It was cheap, bot nut worth this money.
Small place but spacious updated rooms in a great area of town and near beach. The top room with a large terrace is really great! Staff was super awesome and friendly!
The receptionist was lovely and was as helpful as she could be. The hotel was located near a beach. I know it's a budget option but it really needs some refurbishment, as it's very tired looking. Also my room looked straight into the back yard of the neighbouring mini market, which was really ugly, with loads of unstacked, unsquashed card board boxes piled up.
An excellent location close to the beach and town; helpful staff and a marvellous roof terrace to watch sunsets.
Very close to the beach. Room was clean and comfortable. Reception is only opn for certain hours of the day. We arrived and it was closed. We had to ring them to come and let us in.
They look for you at the Naxos Port.
They let us to choose our room out of 3 other rooms. They also had a small kitchen area, that everyone was allowed to use. There was a small fridge and stove with basic kitchen appliances in our room and a supermarket 1 minute away, so you could live there really cheap. The receptionist gave us a map and showed where to go. Free internet use. The bathroom was very small and the rooms basic - but that was expectable, as the place was very cheap. A bit away from the town centre, maybe 30 minutes walk, but close to the beach, supermarkets, car rentals and nice restaurants.
Great location (ten minutes walking from the port) and nice rooms. Excellent value for money.
nothing we stayed one night and it was certainly not to our expectations
The manager was really lovely, helpful and friendly. Couldn't have been nicer....... My single room was right by a very busy road, so hardly got any sleep for the whole time there!!
Nice staff and very good price. Sure it was a bit of a walk going to the beach, but always good with some exersice in the morning!
The room was cleaned very well each day, and was therefore very comfortable to stay in. The balcony was a good size and perfect for relaxing on after a day out. perfect for a relaxing beach holiday The walk to the town wasn't very far (about 5-10 mins) but it got annoying to walk up and down the hill in the heat - But this wouldn't stop me from going back there.
Very nice place 5-10 minutes walking from port and center, studio was lovely with big balcony and wireless internet, cleaning every day, the owners are extremely hospitable. no, everything was satisfying.
Very friendly and helpful staff
excellent service, excellent value for money, staff very helpful
Picked us up at the ferry and dropped us off when we left - no charge. Close to the waterfront, but a bit of a walk to the beach. The bathrooms are very cramped and showering will produce quite a bit of water all over the place. Oh well, easily cleaned up.
The location was not very good and when we arrived there was noone there to see us. ( it was mid afternoon). It was quite expensive considering what we got for the money. It was very basic.
Staying at Margo Studios was very easy, with excellent wi-fi, and friendly staff. Let them know when you're arriving and they'll pick you up from the ferry.
The hotel staff came and picked us 3 girls up from the ferry port and drove us there when we left. Nikitas who worked at the front desk and runs the place was really nice! Also we accidentally booked for a room for two but Nikitas found us a 3 bed room right away! Great value hotel!! Very convenient to port and bus stop across the street to the beaches. Also a supermarket 2 minutes walking distance.
Room was always very clean and Maria , the owner/manager, was extremely helpful- passing on her local knowledge to us to increase the enjoyment of our stay on the island. She ensured we were comfortable and carried out any additional requests promptly.
special evenings organised by the hotel, sport activities , .... room was very nice and tasfully furnished althought the shower was very small
The close proximity of all the facilities
Friendly and helpful staff at all levels. Moderate comfort levels. Good and healthy breakfast choices with fruit. Good location close to beach. Accomodation was a bit too rustic. Mosquitos. Too many steps everywhere and dangerous steps. I think they should be reviewed especially the last one at the hotel door . I broke a foot bone there . The hotel step is too high and the bottom part is not fully horizontal. This means your foot does not fall horizontally on to it.The last step caused my foot to roll inward and break a bone. I could easliy have broke an ankle too. I am a healthy fit person but steps with a bad and irregular design are dangerous. (do they not have standards for steps regarding the max height and length dimensions in Greece ?)Please review your steps and put in some ramps. It would help older people and people with children and prams
A full program of activities througout the day , so you can choose biking, windsurfing lessons, aerobics etc.
They offer a wonderful complimentary breakfast, trial wind-surfing lesson, tour of Naxos Town, use of road bikes, a clean, beautiful pool, and access to a fantastic beach. Because of our late arrival they arranged for our pickup from the ferry and an escort to our room. It's not a luxury hotel; but simple, clean, and comfortable. The excellent staff is poilite, speak many languages, and are quick to help when needed.
The friendliness and informality of the staff . We could have had a room with a better view-ours was blocked by a tree right in front of our window.
We stayed at the hotel before the high tourist season. The breakfast selections were impressive and changed each day. We enjoyed being close to the beach and having a swimming pool. We did not make full use of all the sporting facilities. We enjoyed the restaurant on the beach. Our room faced a busy road that was noisy at night. The distance to town was an inconvenience. On the positive side we did a lot of walking.
Great location, close to the sea and the city of Naxos, polite staff, good to excellent quality of breakfast buffet. Small rooms, small bathrooms, taking a shower was quite a contortionist act. No telephone in the room or free Internet Access anywhere in the hotel. Staff well meaning but not always of professional standards. A greater presence of local products (e.g. cheeses) at the buffet would be appreciated. Overall, I think it is quite overprized for what it offers.
The room was scruffy ,cramped and smelled of drains and was plagued with mosquitoes - I wanted to move to another hotel and was charged a penalty of a one extra night charge to be paid in cash with no receipt provided.
Proximity to the beach. Breakfast and reception facilities good. Rooms were too small , badly positioned for the sun, shower units were ridicuously small. Beds very uncomfortable.
Staff were very helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble
I had the best stay. Stavros was so nice and a great host. The hotel was beautiful and so were the rooms and our view to the beach was amazing. The breakfast was lovely and it is in walking distance to everything.
The staff was really kind. Our room was big and nice decorated. The hotel was close to a nice, but very crowded beach. The sea was really blue and calm, which is good for families with kids. The neares beach is really crowded. We liked it for a couple of days but wouldn't stay here for a full week.
Very comfortable and clean. Excellent value for the money. I liked the fact that it was not a large hotel. The staff (Stavors and Popi) were not only helpful and attentive but also made me feel like I was family. No
Service has been excellent and impressive. I will surely recommend the camara hotel and Naxos to my acquaintances.
This is very nice place! I like everything: the nice people, working there! The location is perfect(near to the nicest beach in the island). The room is very good for this price. The meals at breakfast was fantastic! I will go again there!
Most friendly and helpful staff, great atmosphere and clean rooms.
extremely friendly and helpful, very clean. Good breakfast with homemade jams and local fruit and eggs. Stavro is proud of his hotel and rightly so.
Exceptionally helpful staff. Excellent location - short walk to beach and restaurants, and next to bus stop. Beautiful room tastfully furnished, with everything we needed. I was particularly impressed with the help of the staff after we had accident and needed medical assistance.
Superb welcome and very friendly staff. Quiet but convenient for beach and town.
The hotel was great specially the owner of the hotel maria and her husband, were so kind and help us a lot, each morning they offer us the fresh melon and graps from their garden. the room was prefect and comfortable, the garden of hotel was so nice. If you have car this a very good place to stay.
Very nice hotel and clean. Maria and her husband are staff very helpful and friendly and they offer taxi service when you arrive and when you go away with all luggages for to port or airport. The service of clean the rooms is every day. Also is offered products from their farm: fresh eggs, peppers, tomato ecc.....In quite-separate position but near to everything: sea, city, supermarket....unforgettable holydays at the Summer Memories !!!! There isn't particular problem.
It is the ideal hotel for a holidays. We liked everything, the place , the room, the pool, the great views over the sea. The staff was really friendly . The shower is quite small.
Very nice and helpful satff. Amazing view of Agios Prokopios. Clean rooms.
The swimming pool, the quaintness of the 'village' the beautiful gardens, the uninterrupted views overlooking Agia Prokopios beach. Good value for money, good breakfast and very pleasant staff. A lovely surprise! No
The swimming pool and the size and cleanliness of the rooms. mosquitos
Comfortable quarters and good view from excellent pool area. Reception staff although helpful lacked interest in the job. Remotely located, better to have own transport. Loud communication between staff members broke into what could have been a very peaceful location.
The hospitality of the staff, the location, the environment of the hotel and the size of the room. A jewel (diamond) was lost . It was left by my wife on the tble in the room and disappeared.
