We stayed in a triple and it was very spacious. Additionally, the room is lakeside and the views are beautiful.
Room comfort, breakfast TV too small
Our room overlooked the lake. The scenery was lovely. We enjoyed walking around the area and into the village square.
I booked for 35 euro (breakfast included), they asked for 45 euro (35 + 10 euro for breakfast)
the wonderful position of the hotel, right on the edge of the lake and in the centre of town. Ample parking available. Even though the room did not have a view of the lake the view of the old houses was nice.
Exhibition time, so prices were very high all around. Staff were very friendly and afterall the hotel fullfilled my needs properly. All Ok, except the price, ´cause of timing.
Easy to park (private parking available). Quiet and calm. Very nice breakfast, extremely good value for money No remark, for a 3 star hotel it definitely exceeded my expectations.
The accommodation is excellent- breakfast gets better each day! As there is no dining room, it would be good to have facility for tea/coffee
Free parking inside hotel, location on lake shore, fairly large room, good breakfast, great value no proper curtains so not enough darkness, narrow beds
Located in a beautiful small town, near the lake! Not far from Wartburg castle (UNESCO World Heritage). Lovely atmosphere of neighboring residential quarter. The breakfast was better than in 3 other more expensive hotels during my trip in Germany. Toiletry kit is not complete.
Clean, comfortable and helpful staff. Good internet access.
business trip the carpet is old and doesn't smell very well
Good quality traditional hotel at affordable price
Beautiful hotel in an ideal location for exploring the town, the staff were very friendly and spoke perfect English. I thought that the breakfast was limited in choice considering the hotels image.
Nice Staff Restaurant was closed during our visit, this was not mentioned at the time of booking the room, no airco!!
Staff very polite and helpful. Had a meal in the 'bar' style restaurant which was really good. Room was clean, and comfortable. Breakfast is buffet style and was good. Missed the car park initially and had to drive around the block to find it. The road is quite busy, so better sign indicating it is the hotel car park would be good. Also the breakfast cost should be included in the room price instead of the extra 10 Euro per person. The package would then be good value.
Good location. The style of the hotel. Breakfast.
There was Wi-Fi available through an authenticatioin system available from Reception. The meals were excelletn and the staff freindly and helpfull. Having never been to Germany before, so I'm not sure what the traditional breakfast is, but I would have liked a greater choice. Maybe some Toast, etc. As it was the continental style was nice, just would have liked more.
This is a fantastic hotel, with very nice architecture and excellent staff. It was too short.
Very friendly and helpful staff, would return to this hotel if the points mentioned below change as other hotels provide a lot more for the same price. Hard to find, web site indicates free parking - however only curbside 1 hour parking available, does not accept AMEX and reluctant to accept Visa - breakfast inconsistent and average.
breakfast is not so good.
Good location near the center of town. Beware light sleepers, as the clock tower may wake you up occasionally due to its close proximity to the hotel. No air conditioner or elevator, which may make it uncomfortable for some guests.
The location of the hotel was perfect-right on the Marktplatz. The room was very clean and pleasant and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a problem with the auto parking. Parking on the street is only good for 1 hour. The hotel had a special card that allowed you to park for the entire day and night for 1.50 euro but the card doesn't work on Sunday. So, we had to move the car a few times until Monday morning when the parkcard functioned.
At 8 h 30 pm no one answers the door. You have to ring a bell outside of the hotel, and the door will be open. To get something to eat or drink at 8 h 30 pm in Meiningen, wow, this is an adventurer. I disrecommend this city for young people who want to have fun.
Fairly central location; room was good value for money, staff was helpful
The small size, the modern and still non obtrusive outside architecture, the wonderfully modern and professional inner architecture and decoration, and the genuinely friendly and helpful welcome and assistance from the owner. Not forgetting the excellent and varied breakfast..
Very nice, quiet and clean hotel with all facilities you need - free Wi Fi.in the room and free parking.
We enjoyed our stay at the hotel very much. The room was comfortable and quiet and the buffet breakfast very nice as was the hotel's restaurant on the ground floor. We chose the hotel because of its closeness to the train station and to the town's attractions. Meiningen boasts lovely waterways and hikiing trails. I especially recommend the Landsdorf (?) castle for a delicious lunch and very cool historical ambiance.
I enjoyed my one night stay at the hotel. It is just five minutes from the station which suited me. The room was comfortable, clean and in good condition. The staff very friendly and helpful. There was an excellent buffet breakfast.
Nice location nearby the centre of town. Friendly staff & good breakfast. Bad piont :Wifi was not working. Nevertheless good stay at the Kaiserberg hotel 7,5 / 10
Friendly - arrangements for late check in worked well. Breakfast very good, wireless broadband set up easily and worked reliably Lighting levels in room rather low
pleasant staff nice buffet breakfast nice clean rooms no restaurant for evening meals.but available 15 mins walk away
nice hotel, nice staff, very good price, large rooms yes
Very good value for money, kind staff, very very quit in a small village.
nice breakfast, good room, accepting dogs, nothing to complain about
Hotel staff very helpful with advice on sightseeing. In a very quiet village of around 120 people only. A knowledge of German is useful.
The hotel is situated in a small village in a very beautiful area, the family running the hotel was very very nice and welcoming. For a calm weekend this is really the best you can wish for.
