A very warm welcome to you all from the Pahadi House .This estate is located in the foothills of Himalaya with glimpses of the mighty Nanda Devi, Trishul and Panchchuli peaks and the colours of season will keep you company. Uttarakhand Garhwal is one of the most famous hill station in India proudly . Blessed with beauty and bounty of forests and mountains, it is also known as Mother Nature's special place.

It is truly a nature lover's paradise with great landscape, lush green valleys, misty woods, racing rivers and enchanting waterfalls.Pahadi hOuse tourism is a unique concept of staying with a local family and knowing their culture and food habit, it’s a flair of Pahadi tradition - CUISINE & their LIFESTYLE, all authentic.

The Garhwal belt of Uttarakhand, majestically nestled in the Himalayas, is littered with several small mountain villages with enchanting views of the snow-clad Nanda Devi & Trishul peaks. Peora is one such small Kumaoni hamlet with traditional tiled-roof village huts sparsely scattered on the slopes of its contoured valleys, surrounded by dense pine forests. The people and lifestyle of Uttrakhand can be categorized as primitive.Though certain cities have seen development, but most of the areas of the state have still remained undiscovered.

Mountain life in this region revolves around fruit cultivation, including apple, chestnut, walnut, plum, peach, apricot and pear. In the close-knit community of Garhwal where everyone knows everyone else, a slow-paced life is interspersed with colourful mountain festivities. This lovely homestay in the Himalays is as far as it gets from the maddening tourist crowds of the well known Rishikesh strips of Laxman Jhula and Rham Jhula yet close enough to be accessible to Rishikesh village for any additional provisions or shopping you might require. Alternatively, stay close to home and take in a village walk, interact with the local people, help out with fruit and vegetable picking, or visit one of the many temples and natural attractions that dot this scenic Himalayan precinct.
