Getmore Bed & Breakfast

First of all, the location and architecture are amazing: it's smack bang in the center of the city within easy walking distance to not just the main sights but also to plenty of local and cheap food (not to mention that you can get awesome cake, juices, desserts, and *real* coffee right in-house). Plus, the house has floor-length windows that look at the cathedral across the street and the Buddhist temple and the mosque beyond. That's really special. The rooms are very spacious and the beds comfy (though not all dorm beds have private plugs and there are no nightlights). Large lockers are available in the dorm rooms. Sheeri makes a brilliant breakfast, which will always include fresh fruit and proper coffee as well as - according to taste - either egg'n'toast or Sri Lankan delights (often homemade). The Wifi is hit and miss. Note that there is not a/c in the dorms (however, there are 2 ceiling fans in each).
