8.3 Excellent
Pros: cleanness, easy to be reached from the motorway, quiet place
Cons: no restaurant on site, in the room stayed smokers and there was a remnant smell
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hostess. Just great. Easy and fun communication. We were supposed to arrive late, so she left the keys for us at the reception, with a note, and wrote to us beforehand, exactly how to get it. The registration slip had a smiley on it. I'd find it cheesy, but she's cute, so she gets a pass. The location. Hidden at the green end of a narrow passage of a green village, with flowers around the foot paths around the building. You could see the church tower from the garden. So beautiful and peaceful. You people have asphalt and greenery everywhere, each exactly where it's supposed to be. Excellent. Oh, and the purple sheep in the garden is...meh. The room. That is not a hotel room, but an apartment. Both rooms that we got. Kitchenette, in top shape, with cutlery and pots. You know, the microwave oven could have been Chinese, like almost everything these days. But it's not Chinese. The TP. Yep. One of the things I noticed during my travels is that good places have good toilet paper. I'm sure it's not a new observation. Bad places have thin TP. Medium places are clean and shiny but the the owners cheap out on the TP. It's one of those little things that you don't appreciate until you realize that it can be worse. Experienced owners know that they need to offer the basics and then focus on every single detail. Sorry for being vulgar, but you cannot substitute a good s**t and a good sleep with courtesy, good price or fabulous location. This place has it all. We arrived in the evening and left the next morning, so didn't have the energy or the time to explore, but from what I've seen, it's a place where time slows down in luxury. You can still go explore the neighborhood, if you want to. And everything is so clean and tasteful. You just feel good there. Thank you.
Cons: Maybe that breakfast was more French style, less continental. I would have preferred sausages, omelette. The most consistent things that I found were eggs and bacon, beside all sorts of croissants, cereals, cheeses and fruit jams. I could have eaten two platefuls of bacon (crispy and good), which obviously would have made it embarrassing for everyone, except that there weren't two platefuls of bacon. On the other hand, I saw only four guests at breakfast, us included, so it would have been a waste to prepare too much food. The breakfast room is beautiful. Light, airy, exactly how I have always imagined a Viennese café to look like. Or a little café in an Austrian village. Better than some coffee shops in Vienna. Another minus, but probably for other, less fortunate visitors: no air conditioning, at least I didn't see it. We got there in a relatively bearable summer day, so didn't really need AC - and there was a good fan in each room - but they will have to install it, sooner or later. I saw that some other guesthouses don't have them either, but we obviously didn't visit them all. Climate change is affecting businesses in unexpected ways.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very kind, beautiful location. Everything is perfect, we will definitely return :)
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Ansfelden is not the bast place to stay for holiday. But for business, this hotel is one of the best places in this "industrial" town. Near the highway. Nice rooms. Friendly owner. Good breakfast.
Cons: Air-conditioning good be a plus, when it is very warm. The stairway to the bedroom is a bit narrow.

Cons: Hotel recommended a scam taxi company that wanted to charge me EUR 40 for a 10 minute trip to a nearby castle. When I refused the driver got very rude. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cycling from Passau to Vienna and this was easily the nicest place we stayed even though it was not the most expensive. Beautiful details in the decor and friendly staff. They have an excellent room for storing the bikes as well.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: A nice location on the Danube shore. The rooms on the higher floors can have a river view. The ones on the lower floors don't have a river view. The hostess was very friendly and although she doesn't speak good English she made a lot of efforts to explain and answer any question we may have had. Very clean rooms. The breakfast was very good, with variety of options from the Austrian kitchen.
Cons: Since the restaurant at the facility was closed, we had to eat dinner at another place (some may find it an advantage). But we did miss the ability to prepare a hot drink in the room in the evening - there are no such facilities available (a kettle, some coffee or tea).
8.8 Excellent
Pros: New facilities, very clean hotel, located directly next to the Danube river, very rich breakfast. Room is quite simple but comfortable. Owner very kind and bussy.
Cons: Well, one thing: during our stay there were two weddings, and we had to wait untill we were allowed to enter the room, and same in the morning, the owner prefered that we will go out from room before wedding starts, since he didn't want us (the guests!) to disturb the wedding...it was really wear...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The service, second to none. Arrived hungry later than planned, after the restaurant closed, but still the staff went out of their way to make sure the restaurant came out with two exquisite dinners. Awesome service.

Pros: 1st class location in the centre of town, for a very decent price! The room is very comfortable. Great mattress, so I slept really well. Although it is in the centre of town, no noises from outside. I will definitely stay here again when I visit Linz and highly recommend this hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, new and very clean facilities. Nice to have the coffee machine and bottle of water. Good value and lovely staff. Perfect for a short stopover.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfy bed and spacious room.
Cons: No tea making facility.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice, friendly staff, clean rooms, and quiet, but very central location. It's a standard corporate hotel, there's not much else to say--but for that type of hotel, it seems like a good option and decent value for central Linz.
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice room, Good location, Big parking place, and Good price.
Cons: I have met with 3 staff of the hotel, 2 of them were friendly and helpful. But there is one staff who was very rude. I had a late checked-in at 1am, so when I get up it was near 12:00. At 12:25, I was packing and preparing for the check-out, one staff knock my door and command me to leave, with rudeness and a poker face. At 12:30, I checked-out at the front desk and met that staff again. I smiled at her to show kindness, but she is still with a poker face, no smiling, no greeting. I had to ask the other staff to check out.
6.8 Good
Pros: Good location Neat and clean
Cons: Super overpriced Small room with no charme and ugly view Windows impossible to open (therefore a little warm and smelly inside)
8.8 Excellent
Pros: It is located right in the heart of downtown Linz. A very nice and clean 3 star facility. The air conditioning is good. They have daily housekeeping. The beds, pillows, mattresses and quilts are new, clean and comfortable. They have a luggage storage room as well where you could keep your luggage before check in or after check out. The room has a small fridge as well as a Nespresso coffee machine. They give you two complimentary capsules on arrival (1€/capsule after you've finished your complimentary capsules ) The staff is very nice, courteous and welcoming.
Cons: The bathroom/toilet door is made of glass so there's little to no privacy. I don't know if it's the case in other hotel rooms but our room was like that. The bathroom sink is not big enough for even one person so you have water splashing on the floor very frequently. Not enough wardrobe space or hangers. No possibility to borrow an iron or an ironing board. Not enough space to put luggage for two people in the room so it stays somewhere on the floor near the foot of the bed or the table.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel in the heart of Linz
5.5 Okay
Pros: Cleanliness.
Cons: Rush for breakfast and disorderly manner in which it was handled.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked traditional style of this hotel. Room was nice and clean. Bathroom new and modern and very clean.
Cons: No air conditioning in the room. Windows to the space between buildings so a bit noisy (people walking/ pulling market tables in the morning etc) if you leave it open. Breakfast could be upgraded - not only boiled eggs and some sweet bakery. It is in the center so car parking is a bit complicated and for 15 EUR/day. No minibar/fridge in the room.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The bed extra was very comfortable
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Better descriprion on where to park the car. Descriprion "with parking" before booking was slightly missleading as it doesn't have its own parking. I didn't mind parking in the open parking lot but I would have preferred to know that in advance.
10.0 Excellent

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location and breakfast were great. The staff was very helpful and positive. The style of the room was great, which made us feel like at home. The room was big. The windows of the room were looking at the main street. It was great to feel atmosphere of the Linz. They did not put TVs on the wall. I think it was great to preserve the nature of historical building.
Cons: To improve the facilities of the hotel, it is a suggestion: Kette might be added into room facilities.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were friendly. The room was very clean. When my car got stuck in the snow they were extremely helpful and got me out of the bother. I would recommend this place highly.
4.5 Okay
Pros: The area was nice with a lot of green and a playground. There is a restaurant downstairs.
Cons: I m glad we spend there just one night. Unfortunately the room was kinda old with furniture from the 80s, with some holes and spots on the walls - a renovation really needed (I don want to even mention the bathroom...). You can get a baby cot for 12e extra (never had to pay for that elsewhere).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It is in rural farming area off the beaten path, so it is quiet and peaceful. There ia a restaurant on site open Wed. through Sun. The food was delicious. The complimentary breakfast was simple but nice. It is a family run hotel and we enjoyed chatting with the owner who showed us a photo album showing the history of the place. The staff was very hospitable and their English was fine.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Late, last minute check-in, but everything went smooth, very friendly staff, arranged taxi for us for morning at agreed time.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very convenient to main square. Clean and comfortable rooms
Cons: NOISY! In summer with windows open, can hear all conversations of walking traffic below until about midnight. Then, around 6:30am, trash pickup and construction noise started. They do provide ear plugs though.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Really great disabled facilities, especially bathroom and shower. Highly recommend for a wheelchair user.
Cons: Only parking available was parking garage at €20 per day.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: The room is large and comfortable, equipped with coffee and tea which is very appreciated. The restaurant downstairs is one of the best in Linz (indeed I think the hotel is an afterthought to the restaurant, not the other way around). The owner is friendly and was very helpful when I needed to change a reservation.
Cons: The room temperature is centrally controlled, and it was extremely hot in the room, even after asking to adjust. The shower, on the other hand was just luke warm. The lights are not controlled via a card slot, so you need to turn off each light individually. This is annoying for those who do it and (worse) I would guess it means many people are lazy and leave the lights on, unnecessarily. The service in the restaurant is quite arrogant (only had one waiter, an older man).
9.3 Excellent
Pros: There was no breakfast in our room rate. The restaurant wasn't open on the night we stayed, but we very much enjoyed the fantastic location. Both the receptionist and the owner were very pleasant, helpful and friendly!
Cons: The room was wonderful but too warm in the hot summer weather, and not much breeze came through the open door, which also made us feel insecure. Just a fan would have made all the difference! Also we really would have liked a second pod of coffee, one was not enough (four pods please). There was plenty of tea there though, and a nice selection... for tea drinkers. Thanks to the owner for the espresso on the house as we were leaving! He could see we needed a caffeine fix I think!
7.5 Good
Pros: Location room very nice.
Cons: Stayed on Friday and Saturday Bar on the street kept me up all night. Very loud.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location is really great!
Cons: No AC in the room so little hot during summer! Wifi was not working at all so don’t plan working there.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Everything was super confortable and clean, the staff is extremelly friendly and the place is central to the old town.
Cons: The weather was very hot outside and you could feel it a little within the room because there's no AC. Besides that, perfect.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable bed, easy check in (even after regular hours), coffee and tea in the room, great Wi-Fi service.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Mattress was comfy
Cons: Only 2 coffee caps in the room, bed kept moving.

Pros: 10 minutes from the old town, in a quiet street. Room is spaceous, furniture seem to be brand new and I haven't seen such clean bathroom before like here. breakfast is reach and available until 11 am. On the windows there are motorized blinds.
Cons: The pillows.... for me they are way to soft, I can't really sleep on them. But it's only a personal remark, not a complaint.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything looked brand new. All the storage space you could ever want. Very functional design and good looking too. Loved the walk-in shower. Superclean. Easy to find from the train station and a short walk to the main square.

Pros: Clean and staff are friendly I arrived late at night and I got help to park multiple car and carry my luggage. Location is great man local cozy shops are around
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Unassuming in its exterior, this hotel is located a couple of streets back from the action, providing the best of both worlds: quiet and convenience. Staff were very warm and friendly. The room was very spacious, bright, and modern, with comfortable bedding. The bathroom was also spotless and very modern. There was a small fridge for personal usage. Unlike a lot of hotels in this price range, it did have air conditioning. It also has a “bike cellar” for bicycle storage . Breakfast offered a nice, wide, standard selection of food. I frequently stay in 5 star hotels and felt that overall, it deserved a lot more than its 3 star rating.
Cons: Nothing.

Cons: Quite noisy outside the window, parking view.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: In the middle of the old city, great location
4.5 Okay
Pros: The location was great
Cons: It is a 4 star hotel without aircon. We got a room with a small window looking over the smoking place of the restaurant. We had dogs and we paid for their stay too and we were really thinking about staying in the air conditioned car with them as they were constantly panting. We were also suffering from the heat. We asked for a fan at least but they said they have no more. So we stayed in the 35 celsius room with our dogs and paid a lot for a 4 star quality. BTW rooms are not even close to the pictures. They are not really nice, most of the windows are looking into the internal yard and it's impossible to blast at least some air from outside. One of the staff members on the second day were kind to us and gave us his own fan. The first staff member was rude and not willing to help the situation.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: I got a great spacious corner room which had a lot of light. I didn't hear noise from the hallway or the other rooms. Great view from my window. The tram stop is right outside the hotel. Good local shops nearby.
Cons: The hotel needs a little bit of a redesign to refresh old carpets and other signs of wear. The room needed more plugs - one on the desk and the plug near my side of the bed was not functioning. Housekeeping didn't change my sheets until I asked on the 4th day of my stay. There were too many mirrors in my room and bathroom!
8.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable room, good location for exploring Linz, excellent breakfast buffet! We also appreciated a safe place to keep our bicycles overnight. We made use of their business centre with a printer.
5.8 Okay
Pros: There's a gym, rather limited in terms of equipment, but open round the clock. Overall the interior is relatively fresh, the surroundings are quiet and you are not far from the city centre.
Cons: The staff doesn't care much about anything. Couldn't call a taxi for us on request, took several times longer than planned when asked for an ironing board, etc. Beds are OK, but pillows way too soft, so my neck hurts after a couple of days there. No pillow at all in the baby cot. The shower mixer valve is installed so you keep hitting it accidentally while in the shower.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The location was a few steps from the main shopping street, in front of a green park and a road. Nice little park behind the hotel, a green shortcut to the main shopping street.
Cons: Breakfast was expensive, so I preferred local bakeries around. At evening you could hear the car traffic on the road in front, but during night time it was quite.
6.3 Good
Pros: The room was big and comfortable.
Cons: Nobody told us that we need to pay for using the parking. If we new we would leave our car outside. Also there was no fridge in the room for a hotel in this price range you would expect that.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast is good, quite veried, I have found what I like. The hotel is in the center of the city, everithing is in walking distance. The room was comfortable. The hotel's restaurant was also good.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Good standard Breakfast Cleanliness in Room very good
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was ok, location very good and the price was also acceptable.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Perfect for a Saturday night out in Linz, close to the center, everything in walking distance (also the train station); nice and light rooms, comfy beds, bathroom was clean except water wouldn’t rinse properly in our bathroom (tub and shower); breakfast buffet was ok, but is more expensive if chosen on same day and not the day before
Cons: Just the water non rinsing was a bit of a hassle, other than that everything ok

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good and clean!!! Best Coffee
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great staff, always nice and helpful, great location by rail tram service to city, lots of parking and free, free WI-FI and its fast, breakfast is good but get there early for best selection, typhoon restaurant across the street is great, massage place on second floor of same building great,
Cons: smoking in restaurant, bar, bowling area, meeting area, hall way, etc. is the only bad thing about this place the smoking. reminds me of the Balkans with the smoking mentality. With less than 20% of people now smoking, not sure how long they can keep this policy up, I guess we will see. You will need to wash your cloths for sure after just having one drink in the bar! I have stayed here many times, but I do not eat here or drink here because of it, sad........ Its a nice place. They do not sell the weekend Linz pass at this hotel, I wish they would, it would make things so much easier on arriving to the city.
