Pros: Clean and beautiful
Pros: Very clean and comfortable. Very good value for money. Breakfast was tasty. Beautiful small garden with a lot of flowers.
Pros: Old style and super clean rooms and well decorated garden
Cons: Breakfast could be have more options
Pros: The garden was perfect for breakfast
Pros: The house was lovely with a very nice garden. The room was clean and comfortable.
Cons: Noise from rooms adjacent & above
Pros: Small, but nice equipped room, clean and cosy. Really helpful and kind hosts. The best cheese pastry at breakfast I’ve tried for the last 10 years.
Cons: The parking was pretty much far away from the house.
Pros: This guesthouse offered the most charming room that we stayed in our entire room, with beautiful woodwork and handmade textiles. The balcony and garden were terrific, as was the INCLUDED breakfast--with seconds on cappuchino, even!
Cons: Nothing--I can't think of any way they could improve
Pros: We loved the room which was clean, comfortable and perfect for an overnight stay. The property is beautiful. The courtyard was an ideal place for breakfast sitting underneath the grape vines and admiring all the beautiful flowers in the well kept garden. The owner was waiting for us when we arrived and we quickly settled into our room. The village is amazing and walking around the cobbled streets and admiring the preserved wooden buildings is a must. The guest house was very quiet and peaceful and it was like stepping back in time. We really enjoyed our stay.
Cons: If I had to say anything it would be that it was quite hard to find but so worth it once we did.
Pros: The best balcony ever.
Pros: It was a very relaxing stay at a traditional Bulgarian house. Hosts are very welcoming and responsive to any requests and/or inquires. The courtyard is a great place be it for drinking coffee in the morning, reading a book in the shade or having dinner to the sounds of the village. All rooms have a private bathroom and are cleaned daily by the lovely staff. There is a communal eating space and a great terrace seating area as well. Overall a great place for couples as well as a group interested in having an authentic experience with modern conveniences.
Pros: A beautiful place
Cons: Beautifully restored traditional mountain house, tastefully decorated with antiques and a fabulous garden. Unfortunately, the place suffers from the overbearing influence of a helicopter host. Zhana, an employee of the actual compound owners, who acquired the houses 22 years ago, is a loud and angry Soviet-style woman, who likes to commandeer, tyrant-style, perhaps even with mental issues. While she is taking great care of the property, she is also spoiling what could otherwise be a boutique luxury rural experience into downright hostel stay. The owners would be well-served to upgrade with a younger, more pleasant and modern host. Would not return only because of the host.
Pros: Beautiful old house provided with everything you need for a comfortable quite stay in this nice and sleepy village. The view was amazing and owners very helpful and kind...we didn't have breakfast but it looked delicious!!!
Pros: The location is good. Traditional and clean rooms.
Cons: It is a bit difficult to find the property. The wifi signal is week.
Pros: Fresh breakfast every morning! The hosts were so lovely and welcoming. It was so peaceful at the EcoHouse, great way to start our holiday in Bulgaria. Best fresh air ever! Hosts also pick up and drop off from Bourgas airport! Going above and beyond!
Cons: We loved everything!
Pros: Absolutely authentic place keeping the spirit of the old times, this romantic feeling to be on a place of an old age. Truly loved that place and will be back soon for sure. Recommend with both hands!
Cons: There is nothing not to like.
Pros: Excellent location, and a very nice house. Clean and new bathroom. The old lady was helpful.
Cons: The old lady didn't speak english (but the bulgarian version of booking was helping). WiFi didn't work very well in upper rooms.
Cons: Very nice place, magic house! Very old, but it has everything you need to stay there. Perfect breakfast, natural and tasty. Thank you!
Pros: Wonderful old house, perfect location and very attentive host. The best choice for a relaxing, quite stay in a village full of history. Pet friendly environment which is a huge advantage.
Cons: Cannot think of one single thing.
The rustic Voevodski Eco Complex is located in the quiet village of Katunishte. Traditional cuisine is served in the hotel’s restaurant and free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. The rooms at Eco Complex Voevodski all feature wooden floors, and offer a flat-screen TV and a work desk. All rooms have view of the Balkan Mountains or the village. Pros: Being mid-week, near the end of the season, everywhere was quiet, and the staff had time to chat to us.
Cons: "Breakfast" was very nominal. Fig jam, feta cheese, and bread fried in beaten egg. Drinks had to be bought separately. Frankly, a waste of time!
Pros: Rooms are spacious and beds are very comfortable. The food in the restaurant is fresh and delicious. Overall we had a great time and will gladly visit again.
Cons: Tiny bathroom. Shower was practically over the toilet. It’s ok for a night or two, but not very comfortable for a long stay. Still the atmosphere of the complex, the village and nature were worth it.
Pros: Nice property at a beautiful location. Reasonably comfortable, perfectly clean rooms. Friendly, professional staff.
Cons: Lack of air conditioning renders the rooms uninhabitable throughout daytime in the summer. Food was ok but there's room for improvement, e.g. diluted tarator and dry pork shank.
Pros: An excellent place for a short holiday in the mountain. The staff is very very friendly and helpful.

Pros: Beautiful place with excellent food. The staff are great. Location is great and within walking distance to all sites.
Pros: Clean. Nice local atmosphere.
Cons: Uncomfortable beds. Very strange showers - not a separate area in the bathroom like a normal shower. Restaurant and laundry services weren't available.
Pros: Nice place with very friendly people. Amazing kitchen !
Pros: The location, the wooden rooms, that you can’t hear anything than the rooster in the morning, the meals and the breakfast, the owner
Cons: Personally don’t like the shower-bathroom-toilet all in one solution, but it’s not a problem
Pros: The envirement and the restaurant (we enjoyed dinner).
Cons: It's only a small room so nowwhere to sit except on the bed.
Pros: Nice old bulgarian style rooms. There is a restaurant in the house with all the traditional foods and drinks. The village is beautiful. There are some museums and shops.
Cons: Our room was a bit small. The bed is also a little bit old.
Pros: Very good hotel in perfect place with comfortable rooms!
Pros: The house is lovely and very clean.
Cons: Our room faced the driveway and an outside light was on all night that interfered with our sleep. My booking said the property took credit cards but when I pulled out my card to pay I was told I had to pay in cash.
Cons: What's not to like?
Pros: The hotel was beautiful, as was the location. Food was very good - we had both an evening meal and breakfast.
Cons: The room was very cold. Although it was September, it was cold at night - 6 degrees - and there was no heating on in either the bedroom or the bar/dining room. We were given a fan heater for our bedroom when we asked.

Cons: The staff
Pros: Great location, great ambience!
Cons: The bathroom was too small and had a really nasty, unbearable odour all the time!
Pros: Fantastic location, great views and nice garden. Beautiful wooden houses with comfortable rooms. Lovely authentic atmosphere in the center of Zheravna. Good breakfast. The staff was helpful and friendly.
Cons: While walking on the first floor, the wood planks cracks. You can hear this noise if you have a room on the ground floor. You can wake up because of early birds above you. Well, this belongs to the charm of the authentic old houses. The curtains are quite thin and light gets through.
Pros: Very authentic feel of historical Bulgarian countryside place. We had a room for three - it was spacious and cool - very nice for sleep in a hot summer night. We had also huge terrace only for ourselves.
Cons: There was no hot water in the evening we stayed there - it was okay the morning after. Overall the bathroom would merit a bit of refurbishment. The food in the restaurant of the property as well as the one across the street wasn't great.
Pros: The picturesque quiant village
Cons: The suffocating smell in the guest house, the unhealthy and boring breakfast, the fact that I was bitten by a tick in the village without even touching grass or lying on the ground.
Pros: Perfect venue and great service of quality!
Pros: Charming place, full of history. At the same time it's well maintained to meet customers expectations. Friendly staff.
Pros: Great location in the very center of Zheravna - with a couple of minutes walk from everything worth seeing! Great traditional restaurants and coffee places nearby.
Pros: Beautiful location. Quiet, at this time of year ..... but welcoming village. Authentic building and decor.
Located in Zheravna, 15 minutes’ drive from Kotel, the town known for carpets production, Sava Cupetsa Guest House was built is 1860s and is a monument of architecture that shows traditional Bulgarian style. It offers a restaurant and a garden with a swimming pool. The rooms feature a private bathroom, a refrigerator and satellite TV. Free Wi-Fi is provided in the entire building. The towns of Sliven and Omurtag can be reached within a 40-minute drive.
Pros: The hosts welcomed us warmly and were very friendly during the entire stay. They made our stay great! Would recommend them to new guests :)
Cons: The bathroom needs updating. It was not thoroughly cleaned.
Pros: A beautiful guesthouse in a beautiful village. The house is 200 years old and so tastefully appointed and kept. Everything is spotless. The family that run it are lovely, welcoming and informative. The swimming pool is exceptionally clean and set in a little garden. The food in the restaurant surpassed anything else we ate in the village.
Cons: The air conditioning did not work.
Cons: You need to be aware that there are no street signs and the propertie's name is in cyrilic writing only so very, very difficult to find. GPS won't help as there is no address to put in. The hosts don't speak any English, the facilities are very basic, no power points for example, so unless you are looking for an authentic 200 year old experience you will be disappointed.
Pros: Hospitality, food and location were perfect.
Cons: Everything was ok.
Pros: We enjoyed a lot the warm and friendly host. She gave us good suggestions about the town and the area. She also served an amazing homemade breakfast and made us feel homey.
Cons: Particularly our room has a bit weird smell from the tubes in the bathroom but I understood from the other people from my company that they did not have this problem. Maybe it has been only in this room and they have already fixed it.

Cons: Very poor breakfast: only a pancake and a glass of milk. I ordered an omelet and it was burned but I had to pay for the burned omelet and a very bad coffe. Pros: Nice place, excellent service, friendly staff, beautiful courtyard, good traditional food, comfortable rooms, clean. A wonderful place to go with family and friends.
Pros: Nice garden and a big parking lot. The rooms were clean, but the heating wasn’t turned on /late April/. The breakfast is typical Bulgarian and homemade /mekitsi with jam/. Coffee and tea not included.
Cons: They charge for 1 hour at the spa, but you don’t get to use the facility for more than 30-40 minutes, because they turn off automatically.
Pros: Nice hotel with restaurant and spacious rose inner garden. Bulgarian national style (red rugs with ornament, wooden furniture, lambskin for bed cover etc.) Clean, large rooms with balcony. Very nice place if you come to Sliven. About 30 minutes from the city. Bulgarian national costume festival in Zheravna in August is a nice bonus.
Cons: Zheravna almost completely lacks illumination at night. Really hard to find hotel if you arrive after sunset.
Pros: Staff was realy polite and useful. Place is quiet with good location. Sauna and jacuzzi were very relaxing before going to the bed. Nice food. Good for family holidays.
Pros: Big room, balcony and very comfortable bed and soft and good quality linen.
Cons: Tea and coffee should be complimentary if breakfast is included and customers should not get charged for it. It would be nice if breakfast could includ more varieties, rather than tasty mekeetsi, jam and ayaran :-)
Pros: Everything was brilliant!
Cons: I like everything
Pros: Rooms looked well organized but needed to be cleaned better- had lots of spiders and cob webs. Floors of the rooms were a bit dirty. Towels and bedding were clean!

Cons: the coffee in the breakfast is not included in the price, neither is the water. Tea, coffee and water are important and should be included. the Spa center has to be paid additionally and i cannot find a reason why it is not for free.
Pros: Garden, room, location .... Everytging
Cons: Thight road in the last meters.

Pros: The atmosphere!The village!The food!
Pros: Beautiful room in traditional house. Nice view from the balcony. Cosy garden where you can sit for breakfast,to relax, ...
Cons: Our terrace wasn't clean. It was a bit hard to drive there (didn't find instructions): best is to take the road up (on the right) at the turn before entering the village; continue till the public parking (high one). From there it's 200m walk to the guesthouse.
Pros: Amazing place situated in an Incredible old village. The place is a bit “old” however clean and comfortable, and has an amazing view on the village and the valley. A little bit hard to find, but after we did it was defiantly worth it .

Pros: The village
Cons: The bathroom and the kitchen were not very clean but the rest was very well. Good place to stay. And the owner was very friendly opening his restaurant just for us.
Pros: It's spectacular. A really old house in the fairy-tale village that is Zheravna, typical for the area, very well preserved. It has all the old style charm of the area, both inside and out. Outside, a series of terraces and gardens offer not only excellent relaxation spots with spectacular views, but also ample space for children to play in. The room itself was extraordinary, atmospheric and authentic, being inside the oldest building of the property.
Cons: The bathroom and kitchinette were extremely small, which is understandable, being in an old house and all. Mind you, this is only the apartment we stayed in, the one in front, maybe other rooms on the property have larger bathrooms. Also both bathroom and kitchen could have been cleaner. Not bad, but sightly downwards from perfect. The rooms were a bit dark as well, better lighting would help.
