Great environment, good location & views, confortable room/beds, good food and very friendly helpful staff. Summertime in Kautokeino is a quiet time, good for relaxation Very new hotel, still some teething problems (eg phone in the room not working and problems with coffee machine etc) but staff very helpful compensated for these minor inconveniences
elegant, brand new hotel on top of a hill. Great view of Kautokeino and the surrounding birch forest restaurant staff was very slow and quite new to the business of waiting. Like most Norwegian hotels, quite overpriced
Stayed at this hotel on our way to North Cape. This was the best we found although expensive. Not many places to stay at between the Finnish border and North Cape unless you cross early in the morning the Finnish border and reach the North Cap not too late. Very nice architecture, modern, fabulous view. Room was very nice although small. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff. The parking is safe as well (we are in the Nordic countries) and no worries needed for our roof box. The price but we are in Norway and so the rate is the rate. The kitchen had only one cook in the evening and it took him 1h45 to get have our sole dish ready. We got a free beer each on the house and the young waitress could not do much about the situation but got her tip. She should have mentioned this to the people dining that there was a long delay... She agreed with my suggestion.
We arrived at 1 pm, but our room was not ready even yhere were only 3 guests.
