It is a bit far from the airport, but it is right behind the National Museum and Royal Palace, so that's good. No airport shuttle, but they are happy to set you up with a cab to wherever you want to go. Pool on the upstairs deck is cool. Breakfast is good. Our room was terrific, and we were upgraded The evening wait staff at the restaurant was surprisingly inattentive for how empty the place was.
Great location, nice facility Casino goes empty after midnight.
A Las Vegas style hotel in Cambodia. Very much customer and service orientated. Staff are very attentive. Hotel facilities, apart from the gaming, are not obvious or always easy to locate
Rooms are low quality, construction was happening and not told
excellent service with a smile
historic monumental building, nice watching football in Elephant Bar Room was not ready; they had booked us in a room that could not fit an extra bed that we had requested thru bookings.com. With helpful staff we were upgraded to a better more spacious room
the internal decor - Art Deco was lovely, the black and white tiled corridors positively shimmered with polish! Also the concierge staff were extremely helpful I didn't particularly enjoy the meal we had in the Le Royale restaurant which we found a little stuffy and the food not up to the price
Being a first time traveler to Phnom Penh, I was worried that the photos may be better than reality. Actually, it was much better than I expected. The room was well appointed and well finished with a great shower. The AC worked really well, and the bed was quite comfortable. However, the highlight was definitely the rooftop pool! It was beautifully and uniquely designed and really made me feel like I was on a posh vacation. The restaurant had incredibly affordable specials, including a 3 canapé plate + cocktail for $6.95 USD!1 If I HAVE to find a complaint, it would be that non-guests can buy day passes to the pool, making it a bit crowded on the weekend.
