Love this hotel but, there should be more controls for people who use the pool but arent staying there. Wristbands? The pool scene can get very ratchet during the weekend...
I stayed at the Ritz Carlton, Key Biscayne with my best girlfriend and it was one of our favorite weekends together thanks to the Ritz! Everything from the valet service to the gorgeous pools and landscape were perfect. Truly a five star experience and I will definitely be returning in the future.
Great new Spa
Cioppino for dinner was overrated and overrpriced (for the quality of food served) - chocolate ice cream dessert was a big disappointment - staff was incredibly accommodating and courteous however, which compensated somewhat. breakfast buffet was great as well.
location not enough beach chairs or facilities, not enough pool chairs, they overcharge for everything they can
It is private and comfortable although they need to take better care of certain things. Some of the staff were far from helpful and seemed almost annoyed when being asked for something. The lady who checked us in at the front desk, Cynthia, was short, rude and far from accommodating. We are not really sure if we will stay here again.
Room was very spacious!!! Comfy bed. They thought of mostly everything to accommodate our stay!!
The staff was well-trained, resposive, and vocally sorry about the situation that all the guests were facing, and even apologized for the weather. The staff went out of their way to try to make up for everything that was wrong. Simply put: the resort should not be open until they have finished the renovations. It's like staying in a Motel 6 at a 24hr construction site, but with superb staff and quite good food. There is limited accessibility by foot to any part of the resort. Walking anywhere requires traversing expansive muddy gravel areas, balancing on tippy plywood ramps where no curbs exist, stepping over hoses, electrical cords, and around huge generators, and going as quuickly as possible by what can only be an open sewer pipe near the new pool construction. There is one, possily two, restaurants open that have the same menu as room service. A salad, entree, and glass of wine came to $70. Other non-resort restaurants are accessiblie only by cab (I might have been able to walk if not for the puring rain). If you choose not to gamnble on walking, you must call ahead for a golf-cart transport, which will arrive in 10-15 mins and take you to your destination. A tip is expected by the driver. During my stay, it rained constantly so I never was able to see a vista, the golf course, or anything resembling the images on the resort's website. The pathways that were usable were puddled with water and one had a recurring area of sudsy liquid on it...? Again, they should not be open, but if they choose to be, they should NOT be charging full price for guest rooms. I was staying in a supposedly-renovated bungalow, but the elevator clearly was in recent use by constructoin workers, there were several muddy boot prints in my bathtub upon arrival., the sliding door to the patio did not fully lock, and the sliding closet doors were not functional because of the position of the room safe in the closet. 'Nuff said.
Staff was wonderful. Too short of a visit!
No request went without a quick and thorough response. It isn't cheap, but the service and facilities can't be beat anywhere else in Florida. A bit too pricey for our regular travels, but great for a once in a while treat.
Very clear, convenient and spacious habitat approximately 300 m from metro station (Metromover) 10 minutes from downtown. The kitchen equipment is very good (but I am a man).
The staff and the location are great! Thank you. Big changes from its former brand Habitat Miami. We weren't expecting to have a smaller suite and valet only parking. The business services / accommodations weren't able to meet all of our needs.
it's an appartement, you are on your own, you have all brand new applicances to cook and a supermarket at a 5 min walk. The Metromover 5 min walk aswell Hard to find
It was basically a one bedroom apartment with a huge bedroom. It was a beautiful room and I'd definitely recommend it and I'd definitely visit again. A dvd player would have been the cherry on top. There was no Iron in the supply closet. Other than this, I had all the comforts of home and then some.
Practicality, functionality, good location, familiar, comfortable and spacious. Excellent staff, very friendly and attentive, we did two more reserves. One suggestion we make is to improve the quality of the mattress. Could be better.
the room was really big with all the services provided, big tv, washing machine, drier, and also very clean. The room provided had a better view because we used booking.com (thanks booking!). There is a publix just one block away, a gas station an a walgreens (pharmacy). As we went with our baby, having a publix nearby was really helpful. internet wasnt working properly (just to say something), but we didnt complain with the staff about it, because we didnt care too much (i think it was because we where in the 7floor)
Very nice for the price. Staff was friendly once they got to know me a little. Food and drink prices very reasonable. Lot of amenities. The casino area permits smoking but it was not overwhelming. All in all a great place to stay. The room was large, clean, comfortable and quite. You can't beat valet parking for $5.00 per day. Other hotels charge up to $30 per day. The food in the deli was not good I ate there twice. The breakfast buffet was good and a great value at $8.00 The location is kind of far from city and beach but it's a casino people go there to gamble not for the access to the beach.
Very busy on the weekends. Good food at the restaurants with a bit of a wait to be seated. Speaking spanish is helpful.
The room was very nice. The strong odor cigarette smoke.
Very nice staff and clean rooms and just a stumble away from the slot machine to your room! Can't wait to go back! I didn't win much!
Staff was very helpful and friendly, room was clean , Only stayed one night
Room,beds,cool a.c. Staff,mean....casino,filthy and outdated
It was nice to have restaurants and casino all in one, and if we didn't do so much waiting around we could have maybe enjoyed it. The staff for the most part were nice and friendly. We thought this location was MUCH closer to the airport, a big reason we chose it. After about a 25 minute drive to the hotel we then had to wait about 30 minutes just to check in our room. After a problem with our room (because we pre-paid through hotel.com) We wanted to eat and crash early. We found ants in our bed, and decided to just eat at the buffet. There were many available tables, however none cleaned, and were all piled with dishes. Had to ask someone to clear us a table which again took a little while. Food was OK. Overall not really worth what we paid.
The room itself is fine but everywhere else the hotel the air flow was minimal causing it to be difficult to breathe due to cigarette smoke. Elevators were full of smoking patrons with no way for the smoke to go anywhere. Casino area was fun but very hard to breathe as I am a non smoker. Even if I was a smoker, the air system didnt seem to be able to keep up with the volume of smoke produced. They did have a non-smoking area but it is minimal and the path to get there is in through the smoking elevator and general smoking areas.
Smoking is allowed in most of the hotel, which makes the entire place smell like smoke covered up with some air freshener. We were given a non-smoking room which also smelled like stale smoke being covered up with an air freshener. If you are a non-smoker this is definitely not the place for you.
Ok but dated. Should not allow smoking in immediate vicinity of check in desk.
Rooms are nice, price is good. Lots of smoke from casino. Dirty pool and spa. Unfriendly staff. 20% of games working in arcade.
Old old slots. Not new games To many kids
