Great location, friendly staff, charming room. Decent breakfast that came with the room fee. Bed was made each day and used towels were replaced with clean ones, but bathroom wasn't cleaned, used glasses weren't replaced, and coffee pot was not cleaned out after use. We mentioned this to front desk staff - they said they'd talk to housekeeping
beautiful room and office area. staff was a big help for a very late check in,
It was charming and felt very safe and clean. Room was a bit small, but just lovely.
The hotel was located very close to all the amenities in downtown Calistoga. We could walk to all the restaurants and shops. The access to the bike rental shop was very convenient. The Inn was charming and unique. I liked the layout and private patio. The carpets and wall paper needs to be replaced - the pink carpet was quite stained and old and the seams in the wall paper are pealing.
Availability We were booked for a queen with a fireplace. We only received a standard room. The carpeting was not clean.
We had a private patio with a gas fireplace.
A charming Victorian. Staff were available, helpful and gracopus.
Very Cute! The fireplaces are a great feature. Great location to walk downtown.
We had a very nice room with a fireplace. The location was great, we walked to dinners and brunches just around the corner. The walls are paper thin! I could hear the couple in the room to our right talking at 1am, not yelling, just talking in normal voices. At 6am I was woken up to a baby crying in the room to our left. I also heard a man coughing up phlegm and spitting.
Lovely room, fireplace, nice breakfast. extremely helpful staff. Nice window to courtyard below but could hear conversations from the courtyard
The owners were great...very friendly and accommodating. Served a great breakfast right to your room. Room was clean and top of the line bedding and nice comfortable king size bed. I would recommend Foothill to friends and family.
Very nice place!! Had a great time!! Worth the stay!!
The breakfast, the size of the room, the comfortable bed. The dated decor. Too close to the road. Traffic noise.
Many extras and little things made the room and stay perfect. Much better than 90% of our B&B stays. Will definitely return whenever we visit Napa Valley. Despite temps in the upper 80's and low 90's the room and garden were very cool and comfortable. Nothing really. Perhaps the entry driveway is a bit hidden, but once you've found it, no problem.
The hotel was very nice and clean as were the staff. The complimentary breakfast was great and it was just a short walk from the square. Definitely worth it and very affordable.
The location is excellent and the rooms are well appointed and cozy. However, there was a pre-school (I think) located on the other side of the fence outside my balcony which just killed the vacation vibe. Besides that, I would highly recommend the place. There was a pre-school (I think) located on the other side of the fence outside my balcony and I awoke to kids screaming and yelling. I love kids but that just killed the vacation vibe.
Nice big comfortable rooms, comfortable bed. Good location, nice outdoor space to sit and relax. Tasty cheese and wine
The rooms were clean and charming. The staff was very warm and welcoming. The breakfast and Hors d'oeurve were more than generous and delicious! My husband and I will be coming back here.
Attention to detail was excellent, and the staff above average
The design of the rooms and decor; the quietness and relaxed atmosphere; the pleasant and helpful, informative staff
The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The cookie jar was a nice touch! Parking was easy. The bed was not comfortable, and we had to ask for softer pillows.
This B&B was so comfy and charming. It was our first visit to the area and we wanted to make the most of our limited time. She gave us a nice map with all her favorite wineries and must-see places circled...it made for a magnificent whirlwind tour of the area! The only downside -- we were hoping to be able to walk to/from our hotel to the downtown restaurants. It is next to the Mustards Grill, which is great, we were just hoping for more options. If you don't mind the 5min drive, it is a great place to stay.
