Cons: Nothing really
Cons: A little to rural for ne as on stopiver
Pros: Breakfast was very nice.
Cons: Check-in @ 15:00?!? Nobody was there and finally a kitchen help informed us that check-in was only as of 17:00. Then, when it was finally time to check in we were given the key to the wrong room. Felt quite amateuristic. Diner was chaotic.. as was the host..

Pros: Shower was superb, bed was comfortable, view was amazing. Would have liked to stay longer.
Cons: Linens could have been included. Charging extra for them seems silly when it is impossible for most of your guests to bring their own. We were coming from Canada so we had no choice but to pay for linens. They should be included.

Pros: Nice historic building with contemporary rooms, nice breakfast, clean bathroom, helpful staff. I liked the bar, and although I didn't try, the restaurant dishes looked OK too.
Cons: The room didn't seem that old, but already endured some wear and tear. No free water in the room. Parking limited. Value for money was ok, but can always be better.
Pros: Bed extra comfortable. Size of the room well adjusted for to persons. Bonus was the fridge.
Cons: No particular remarks
Pros: Good dinner.
Cons: No air conditioning. Average rooms.
Pros: Everything was great! Small pool, but big enough for a few laps and for a relaxing few hours, together with the sauna. We had a standard double room, which was spacious. Everything was spotless and modern furnishigns. Breakfast is good and there is enough variety, including genuine honeycomb. The staff was also very nice and accommodating. Not everyone speaks English but those at the reception do. The pool and sauna were included in our room rate and we had bathrobes, slippers and towels in the room, which we could use at the pool.
Cons: Nothing to dislike. The only remark would be that I would have loved to see the original elements of the monastery preserved. The inside now looks modern, so very few traces of the original building, on the outside.
Pros: Everything was perfect. People who are working there, are very friendly.
Pros: Staff were very helpful and freindly
Pros: Breakfast was amazing with lots of choices. Spa area was clean. Restaurant area was beautiful. Check-in an check-out were quick, professional and friendly.
Cons: Unfortunately, the curtains didn't darken the room enough and the pillows were too thin to have a good sleep. The room was not as modern and new as described on booking.com pictures which was quite disappointing. Also the waiters always took a really long time to come back to your table and almost forgot you.
Pros: Spa was wonderful. Service was friendly and helpful. Restaurant was very good...breakfast was amazing. Room was spacious and comfortable. Overall this exceeded expectations.
Cons: Having to leave.
Pros: Close to a park where you can go for a stroll
Cons: The pipes from the shower from other rooms were very loud, they woke us up! No place to have dinner in the hotel (despite free tables), the wellness was full all the time so we didn’t even get to use it (also not possible to book massages).

Pros: very nice staff comfortable beds brand new bath room note: if you want to eat in the Hotel restaurant, make a reservation, because a lot of demands (very good meals)
Pros: The barrels were really cute and cosy, they had their own central heating which was really good in the cooler weather and they were really neat and clean too. The staff were really friendly and made it easy to communicate even though we spoke a different language. We arrived late in the evening but they still welcomed us to eat.

Pros: Omkadering was tof, alles in thema detective enz.
Pros: Breakfast was served in the sister hotel, 1 minute walk away. Superb buffet breakfast, champagne included! - everything you could want. The hotel was quirky, each room had a murder fiction theme, ours was Arsenic & Old Lace. Very comfortable, pleasant helpful staff, an excellent couple of nights.
Cons: Nothing springs to mind, everything was great.
Pros: Good location nice view and it was very cleanm
Cons: U can here everything on the whole floor. Beds are to short and too soft.
Pros: The themed rooms were fun. Breakfast was extensive and served in the hotel next door.
Cons: There is no one at the ground floor after a certain hour and the front door is locked. You need to check in and check out at the hotel next door - that's not a big problem bit wish I knew that beforehand as we arrived very late.

Located in Hillesheim, Gästehaus Kloep is a 4-minute drive from Golf Club Eifel and 9 minutes from Adler und Wolfspark Kasselburg.
Pros: The room was tiny and basic but super clean and good enough after a day's hiking. And couldn't have been more central, RIGHT on the Eifelsteig and centre town.
Cons: The wifi didn't work in my room and because I am a writer it was quite important to me. When I walked to the end of the corridor I could access "Fellini" a free wifi from across the road. There was no one there when I arrived as there is no reception as such. And since I don't have a German phone I walked back to the Tourist Information to ask what I should do. They sent me to the toy shop next to the Hotel. The staff there was helpful and called Mrs Kloep, who came immediately to show me to my room.
Pros: Superb room. Comfy adjustable bed. Excellent breakfast.
Pros: Comfortable, well priced but would have paid a little more for slightly better breakfast and WIFI
Cons: Address incorrect as a result difficult to find, WIFI couldn't get to work, first morning breakfast OK second morning reduced options.
Pros: Good bed in double room. Enough space in the room. Perfect for eifelsteig stop in hillesheim. The hotel also offer transport to nearby location like Mirbach & Gerolstein at very moderate pricing. Good breakfast.
Cons: Room #8 is a disaster! Feel yourself like in a cave because your window should be always closed to keep you privacy. Main room window is facing the really noisy road and balcony with loud speaking visitors ( smoking as well). Wi-fi issues-not possible to check weather outside. Personal-a bit strange walking around to find the right person with the key (all this funny notices like “if we’re not answering please go to..” not the best solution for wanderers who just made 20 or more km with a heavy backpack)
Pros: Nice and friendly people
Cons: Not working internet
Pros: Spacious room
Cons: The waste basket had not been emptied, the tile floor was very cold, and so was the bathroom. No hesting available.
With a stay at Hotel Birgeler Hof in Birgel, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Golf Club Eifel and Adler und Wolfspark Kasselburg. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Attractive rather old fashioned German style hotel. It was a surprise to find an excellent restaurant and bar packed with locals which is always a good sign. There was a very friendly atmosphere which made a very enjoyable evening.
Pros: Friendly staff, clean room and lovely food in the hotel restaurant and very cold beer on arrival. Breakfast was a real feast with large selection. They let me put my motorcycle in their private secure garage overnight. I will definitely stop here again when I visit this fantastic part of Germany. If you're a biker then you're in for a treat with the roads. Long sweeping bends as well as 180° hairpins. Something for everyone.
Cons: Nothing not to like.
Pros: Friendly atmosphere good food and beer
Cons: There was nothing I didn't like
Pros: I find something very appealing about this hotel and this was my second visit. It is unusual to find such a nice unspoilt traditional hotel with excellent restaurant, pub and beer garden.
Cons: Nothing to dislike about this hotel.
Pros: Nice size room with lots of air.
Cons: We Only spoke English so had trouble with note on door as they were shut when arrived, didn’t say restrauant was closed on a Monday when booking and wifi non existant in rooms. A lot of roadside noise in early morning .
Pros: Lovely staff
Pros: Good location / price ratio for major Nurburgring event, quiet enough, friendly
Cons: Place has seen better days, shower head bracket was broken, door had gashes that caused splinters, wifi should be called intermittentnet, staff got every flustered when the place was full - serving wrong food at tables, forgetting orders.
Pros: Good breakfast, good diner in the restaurant of the hotel, the dry room, for our motorclothes which were soaked wet due the heavy rain we had almost the whole day. The friendly staff.
Cons: The only disadvantage I found was that in the Bar, which was separated from the restaurant, people were allowed to smoke.
Pros: A very friendly welcome despite it being the hotel's closed day. Everything was well thought out. A good location for touring the area.
Cons: Our room overlooked the road and was a bit noisy during the day. That said it didn't disturb our sleep
Pros: Ill start out by saying this probably was completely my fault... The good, The room was SUPER cheap. It's in a great quiet little village but still close enough to go to the ring (as we did) the room was massive, bed was very comfi. The room was basic but had everything needed. There was a coffee thing that I had no idea how to work, fridge and some snacks. The host was great, such a warm welcome. Genuinely nice guy who took time to say hello and welcome and showed us how it worked and made us a coffee on arrival. If you read this.. I forgot your name! sorry, your great!!! The wifi was fast, A honer system with drinks was great. we chilled and had great beer in the garden. I would say the place is rustic? not posh, its got a charm of its own and it was a nice place to be.
Cons: Negative wise, and this might of been my fault. The family rooms have no bathrooms, thats a big thing for me as I have to use bathroom multiple times in the night. The bathroom is about a 35 second walk down a hall, round a corner and down stairs, its shared as well. If I had of known this. I wouldn't have booked the room i cannot see that it was advised anywhere, but I cant see where it said it had a bathroom as well..... so this needs better coverage. improvements, have actual light switches in the bathroom, it was 2am and I had to sit in the toilet with a torch as the light went off, Showers, please put on a actual valve rather than a push for 10 seconds of water. I like to give a fair review and don't let the negative points put you off, if the bathroom isn't an issue, and you are budget oriented its a great place. My friend didn't have a problem at all, and it is cheep, and the host is great! didn't have breakfast so could not tell what it was like, points on keeping bathroom clean though!
Pros: For a Nürburgring visitor the location is perfect. 20 minutes driving distance in a small and super quiet village. The room was clean and spacious with coffee machine and a small fridge. The breakfast is served in the big hall or you can bring your stuff and prepare your own breakfast as they provide a fully equipped kitchen! Anton and Madelon were excellent hosts and they treated us well with a mandatory welcome beer!
Cons: They didn't inform about the bathroom situation. The bathroom and the shower facilities are outside of the room on the basement floor. This was not a big problem for me as they kept it really clean. But on the Nürburgring 24h in the 4:00 in the morning i had to use the toilet. The light of the toilet facility was connected on a motion sensor on the stairs. After some minutes the light turned off and i had to use my phone's flashlight. As a result my phone dropped in the toilet and i had to drag it out with my bare hands in the dark... Awful experience in the middle of the night. Also i couldn't understand the shower system as well, as they don't have a common faucet with hot-cold regulator, just a button with a timer that you have to press it some times to finish your shower.
Pros: The hosts Alex and Madelon go through great lengths to ensure a pleasant stay, without pressing themselves. Therefore our stay was indeed very pleasant and if we were to be short of anything we would not be afraid to ask.
Pros: Very friendly and flexible. Good location, nice breakfast/dining room. Good breakfast.

Pros: Breakfast was good
Cons: Beds are uncomfortable
Pros: Clean, food simple traditional for the area and good I unfortunately do not speak German but the host tried very hard to make it work
Cons: Travelling for business alone the hotel is quite isolated after long day good to walk, something to see is a break from work. As a holiday with family and friends I would suggest ideal
Pros: Very friendly Couple. Very clean. Really enjoyed our stay here. Thank you.
Cons: Hosts are german speaking only.

Pros: breakfast was the usable German affair But i have to say a huge thank you to the people because we were delayed by French customs exiting the UK and we arrived very late at the hotel and although the restaurant was closed they made us something to eat so a big thank you for that
Cons: would have preferred on suite instead of having to go across the hall
