Crandon Golf at Key Biscayne
Cape Florida State Park
Love this hotel but, there should be more controls for people who use the pool but arent staying there. Wristbands? The pool scene can get very ratchet during the weekend...
location not enough beach chairs or facilities, not enough pool chairs, they overcharge for everything they can
Proximity to beach and Lincoln Mall. Our room was right off the pool which was super convenient. Front desk staff couldn't have been nicer especially when I disputed some charges at checkout out. The facilities need maintenance. Particularly the pool area. Broken tiles and the bottom of the pool was chopping off in at least one large area. The bathroom also could use some maintenance. The vanity top had a chopper out of it and theme leftist was rusting in areas.
I was charged twice for my staying and although I've contacted the site several times and it's been three weeks I still couldn't get my money back
The nice and relaxing environment
View, No working shower, had to pay $45.00 to park my veichle the hotel! I mean are you kidding me, that's like going out to eat, and the paying the restraint to use their bathroom! Then I get up at 6am to get ready for my 8 am meeting, and the shower does not work!!! Unreal, sink was stopped up, bell hop watched me struggle down the stairs with my luggage. Terrible staff and service, if I wanted no service I would have stayed in a day's inn!!
Amazing infinity pool. Hotel is on the Beautiful beach with two chairs and towels included per room. Hard to sleep due to people partying. Good part the hotel doesn't tolerate . Security is ready to help.
Nothing Air broke 2 nights terrible service terrible crowd and the TV was broken my whole stay. Everyday is have to complain about it and nothing was done. When I asked for at least a night or 2 free because of the inconvenience I was denied
Hotel Excelente tudo e perfeito vou voltar para ficar mais vezes
Canceled reservation with one day's notice.
Beautiful place Expensive parking, if you staying in the hotel the parking shouldn't be so expensive
For a hotel right on Miami Beach, the Riu was surprisingly quiet. The bathroom didn't really have a door, just a frosted glass window that didn't totally close. Even though it was just me and my wife, the lack of privacy was weird. The room was definitely a little grungy, and smelled musty.
Room was very spacious!!! Comfy bed. They thought of mostly everything to accommodate our stay!!
It is private and comfortable although they need to take better care of certain things. Some of the staff were far from helpful and seemed almost annoyed when being asked for something. The lady who checked us in at the front desk, Cynthia, was short, rude and far from accommodating. We are not really sure if we will stay here again.
No request went without a quick and thorough response. It isn't cheap, but the service and facilities can't be beat anywhere else in Florida. A bit too pricey for our regular travels, but great for a once in a while treat.
The staff was well-trained, resposive, and vocally sorry about the situation that all the guests were facing, and even apologized for the weather. The staff went out of their way to try to make up for everything that was wrong. Simply put: the resort should not be open until they have finished the renovations. It's like staying in a Motel 6 at a 24hr construction site, but with superb staff and quite good food. There is limited accessibility by foot to any part of the resort. Walking anywhere requires traversing expansive muddy gravel areas, balancing on tippy plywood ramps where no curbs exist, stepping over hoses, electrical cords, and around huge generators, and going as quuickly as possible by what can only be an open sewer pipe near the new pool construction. There is one, possily two, restaurants open that have the same menu as room service. A salad, entree, and glass of wine came to $70. Other non-resort restaurants are accessiblie only by cab (I might have been able to walk if not for the puring rain). If you choose not to gamnble on walking, you must call ahead for a golf-cart transport, which will arrive in 10-15 mins and take you to your destination. A tip is expected by the driver. During my stay, it rained constantly so I never was able to see a vista, the golf course, or anything resembling the images on the resort's website. The pathways that were usable were puddled with water and one had a recurring area of sudsy liquid on it...? Again, they should not be open, but if they choose to be, they should NOT be charging full price for guest rooms. I was staying in a supposedly-renovated bungalow, but the elevator clearly was in recent use by constructoin workers, there were several muddy boot prints in my bathtub upon arrival., the sliding door to the patio did not fully lock, and the sliding closet doors were not functional because of the position of the room safe in the closet. 'Nuff said.
Service, location, vibe. No complaints.
loved everything about it the view walking distance from the beach happy hour great staff and helpful bathroom lighting was incredible
Our rooms were not available when we arrived. They had been sold. It was late at night. We waited over a half an hour before we were even acknowledged. We had to insist on rebooking us to an equivalent hotel. The process was a disaster and caused us to stay up until almost 2:30 AM. We had to negotiate with the new hotel at check out, to avoid additional charges. Hilton finally covered the expense.
