I liked the room for one night. To smal for a longer stay. + In old town and close to the habour.
I like 24 hour reception
the location was right for the town & beach, the owner was very helpfull & all requests ask for was done without quiple
The old Venetian buildings (including this small hotel) in Chania are really attractive & l never tire of visiting Chania or the island of Crete. The very central situation of this hotel made it very easy to go out for a meal, shopping, sightseeing, etc.
Very small shower room made it difficult to use shower without soaking everything. Nowhere to hang or place clothes at all if you wanted to.
I absolutely loved this place, as did my girlfriend. If you're in room seven, you not only have access to the roof terrace, but the one adjacent, which has the best view of Chania old harbour imaginable. Here are three photos taken by me (I'm not too god at these things!) http://twitpic.com/1okwv2 http://twitpic.com/1p3mdb http://twitpic.com/1p4u9e and one by a friend (who is!) http://www.west-crete.com/dailypics/crete-2010/5-19-10.php. An absolutely splendid place!
Lotts of ambiance, if you want very hot water, a simple breakfast and a good salade you can make from the kitchenette, Chania itself with good restaurants (Tamam, Karnatio)
The surprise that other people are also using the teras, especially from the neighbour bilding?!
