You'll be in a regional park with a stay at Lang Noi Tan Lap Hotel in Moc Hoa. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and an elevator (lift). Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Reasonable accommodation for reasonable price. We stayed here for 1 night, hotel staff picked us up at the arrival on motorbike to go to the hotel located inside the forest. The view from our room and the surrounding area was very nice and peaceful as we were right by the river.
Cons: Please check if there is any problem with the elevator before the tourists go inside the hotel in order to consider having a room change or not. Otherwise, we had a peaceful day at the hotel :)
Pros: Eco tourism
Pros: Modern and clean room with awesome view
Cons: Lack of coffee for breakfast
Pros: Its so clean and comfortable. There is a small balcony where u can see all the beautiful view of Tan Lap floating Village. I suggest to book a room with balcony in high floor hotel. There is a buggy which is always available to pick up.
Cons: There are so much mosquitoes at night (in case you want to walk)
Pros: Staff were great and very friendly. The hotel is new with a balcony with a great view, nice bathroom and set amongst the floating Forrest. It's a very unique experience staying here. The boat rides and fishing are very reasonably priced and really great experiences. The walk through the Forrest is great also.
Cons: Food was a bit expensive. Our room wasn't cleaned during our stay.
Pros: Nice room, comfy bed and a very good shower. A shuttle bus ticket and entrance ticket were provided in the room price.
Cons: The restaurant closed early. It was a Monday and I guess no customers.
Pros: Save travelling time to the floating village and the food were good at reasonable price. The room price is not bad after taking into the account of entrance tickets, breakfast and 4 free rides on shuttle bus
Cons: Too many flies in the room which you can not tell if they are mosquitoes or not. Other than that, I can't find any other faults with the rooms
Pros: This was a fantastic spot for a quick weekend getaway from our home in Ho Chi Minh City, an unexpectedly beautiful oasis. And great value! The place itself was serene and relaxing outdoors, comfortable indoors. Generally things are in pretty good condition. To see so few people while wandering about was wonderful, as was seeing and hearing so many birds and other creatures that we don't hear in the city. Plant-life galore. Jumping fish. Both cable boats and rowed boats were good, as was meandering through the forest on the raised narrow paths. We went late in dry season, but I think we might return to experience the place during rainy season.
Cons: The roads are not great, so expect a bumpy 2-1/2 hour ride (from HCM). It looks like other elements were/are planned to enhance the place--can't tell whether the place is on the up or downswing--but the "Floating Village" title is misleading and seems to refer to aspirations rather than reality. Food was ok; we were disappointed not to have the signature snails, but I think that's a seasonal thing. For somewhere that's at least partly about preserving nature it would be nice if someone would gather the occasional plastic bottles that careless guests have left behind--maybe visitors could help with this!
Pros: Clean, new, modern and spacious rooms. Located near the entrance of the park. There is also a restaurant next to it. A lot of equipment in the room; small fridge, airco, kettle, shampoo, toothbrush, towels, hairdryer, tv,...
Cons: Be aware: the (cheaper) rooms without balcony are located at the entrance of the park. The rooms with balcony are in the tall building inside te park.
