10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner Maura was incredible, such a welcoming kind lovely host, she went above and beyond for us. The breakfast was first class our son particularly enjoyed it saying it's the best breakfast he's ever had- homemade pancakes fruit and chocolate spread. The fry was delicious and Maura went one step further with stocking the longe with tea, coffee, milk and a selection of biscuits and chocolate bars. Her knowledge of the surrounding area was brilliant and offers a cold store for bait, she helped with all the best fishing spots, going as far as to ring around people she knew for information, if it's a fishing trip your planning this is the place to stay, and driving us to one location so we wouldn't get lost. Such a lovely kind lady, we will definitely be back. The room we had was so homely and spacious and great value for money honestly the two nights we spent here (wish we had of booked longer) were a bargain for the service we got. I would definitely recommend here to anyone looking for a comfortable homely few nights away. It's a wee hidden gem that we will visit time and time again. The town and surrounding area is beautiful filled with amazing scenery to take tons of pictures and plenty of walks, and the local shop Gala sells the best ice cream. Thank you Maura, see you next time.xx

Pros: Spa facilities are good. Nice rooms. Nice location.
Cons: Rude and unattentive staff in the cellar bar. Waitress just winged the drink coaster onto the table. Steak sandwich bread and the burger bap were both hard as the road. Steak was like rubber too and full of fat... €18 for 6 oz of rubber. Not too mention waiting an hour for it. Everything very expensive and not good value for money.

Pros: Excellent hotel standard. Great breakfast selection. Close to Cavan town centre.
Cons: n/a
6.4 Good
Pros: Surroundings, design, location are all what you'd hope. Restaurant was good.
Cons: I would not recommend this hotel for a family holiday. Children are not allowed into the swimming pool, which is part of the spa. That's fine as long as you know about it beforehand, which I didn't. I searched the Radisson SAS website later and still couldn't find any reference to this, thought it may be there. Another negative point is the parking. You need to park about 300m from the hotel and take a shuttle bus to the doors. Most inconvenient, but at least it didn't rain at any point while we did this. I had some notice of this from locals, at least. Once you know about these items, and are prepared for them, you can expect a good experience.
7.6 Good
Pros: The use of the Spa Treatment Centre ie. the sauna, steam rooms, foot baths, indoor/outdoor pool it was amazing.

Pros: A lot of thought and effort has been put into what a guest might expect.
Cons: Wi-fi was dodgy in our room, but fortunately I had packed my own modem.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: When we arrived Pearl showed us to our room, explained all we needed to know about our stay -breakfast time and where we could find a place for supper that evening in nearby Arvagh - and then encouraged us to take a walk by following the driveway behind the barns, sheds and pastures to a hill that overloooks a lake. It was spectacular. Their cows grazing in the fields ambled over to the fence to check us out. The setting for this B&B is the prettiest we have ever been to and the home is meticulously taken care of. The flower gardens were amazing in spite of a horrific storm that came through a few days before. Breakfast was delicious with homemade bread, scones and jams and free range eggs from their farm. Pearl was such a lovely hostess we hated to have to leave.
Cons: Absolutely nothing!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: I highly recommend The Arches Farmhouse B&B! The rooms were clean and comfortable with a shower more spacious than most B&B's. The breakfast was everything you would want out of an Irish breakfast with homemade scones and jam, fruit, cereals and hot meals cooked to preference. Our kids (12 and 16) loved Tabby the cat and the Crazy Golf course in the backyard. The cows came up to the fence to watch us play. The yard and its foliage is utterly breathtaking on a pretty day! My daughter had to get a picture in her ghillies (Irish dance shoes) here because the background was just perfect. (see pictures)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful hospitality, beautiful views and a yummy breakfast. It's a lovely spot and Pearl makes you feel right at home. Would love to go back.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This b&b was a real gem. The welcome was warm and the room was very comfortable and very clean. We had our own key and private entrance and so could come and go as we pleased. The breakfast each morning was well cooked and plentiful. Pearl had lots of leaflets and suggestions of places for us to visit during the day and also places to eat in the area during the evenings. We only stayed for three nights as we were travelling but we will definitely go back again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The grounds were beautiful and Pearl was so kind and welcoming! She made the best bacon and eggs that I had in Ireland. She was very helpful in suggesting a restaurant in town for dinner. The restaurant had delicious food and we were so happy with her recommendation.
Cons: There was nothing we didn’t like. No complaints whatsoever.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful house , great breakfast, will definitely stay again.

7.1 Good
Pros: The lady who checked me in was very pleasant and showed me to my room which I thought was a really nice touch and when I asked her what time check out was she assured me there was no real rush in the morning if I wanted to have a lye on which was great to hear. So many hotels rush you out the door or charge extortionate prices for an extra hour in bed. The location of the hotel was perfect, centra across the road and local takeaways only around the corner
Cons: The room was labelled delux double room but it was very standard. The bathroom was quite dated. The double bed which was 2 single mattresses pushed together was very uncomfortable, both mattresses dipped in the middle which resulted in a ridge in the centre of the bed. It was such a shame because it was a great size bed. The lighting in the room could do with an upgrade as they have them flickering fluorescent lights. The picture of the room I booked on booking.com was nothing like the room I stayed in
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Superb hotel. Eamon, Philomena and staff were very welcoming and looked after us extremely well during the course of our visit. The restaurant menu caters for all tastes and I can highly recommend the Fillet steak. Restaurant staff were very efficient and friendly. The bar had a great atmosphere with music. Our room was spacious and spotless. Thanks Breffni Arms your hospitality. See you soon. Alan Mc G.

Pros: We were welcomed to the house with a warm fire and a wonderful spread of sandwiches, which was greatly appreciated after travelling down for 3 hours. The house was so quaint and beautifully done. It was an idyllic setting. We had everything we needed for a comfortable weekend away from home- all kitchen appliances, extra blankets and enough fire supplies for a bit of extra heat. June was a wonderful host and we couldn't fault her, or her hospitality, at all.
