Nice location, good breakfast We stayed in a family room and had a tiny shower stall with "PowerShower" only. Try washing a two year old in that. Hotel doesn't understand family requirements. Hotel is completely "Tirolean" in atmosphere and decor. Does not reflect Ring of Kerry, Ireland. Beds were left unmade one day of two night stay. Many other properties in close vicinity of this property with better pricing.
The staff were very friendly (and Bobby the dog!) They were extremely helpful when asked for advice on local amenities and places of interest. The room was comfortable and spacious. There were several options available for breakfast - the cooked one was delicious. The surrounding views were lovely. TV channel options were very limited (not a problem for our one night stay, but may have been frustrating if we had stayed any longer.) The collapsible toilet seat nearly caused an incident (!), but the problem was reported and accepted with thanks.
Very nice rooms and kind staff.
Good but simple room, good bed. You can use the computer in a special room. Good breakfast. Private parking place. no coffee/tea on the room
our stay here was short but very enjoyable. Ciara the girl who looked after us was really kind and very helpful. a beautiful accomadation , spotlessly clean and lovely staff. one of the nicest we have stayed in.
our host Keira was so pleasant and the location beautiful maybe have the heating on when we arrive as the rooms were cold
Great breakfast, excellent value for money, very friendly service. Wonderful setting close to all Kerry has to offer - mountains, beach, lakes.
Top class hotel. Highly recommended. Great value for the price
No T V in the sitting room, just nice and quiet
The staff were very obliging and allowed us to have breakfast before the designated time because we were going hillwalking
We can only say the best about this B&B. The very nice owner offered coffee and tee upon our arrival and answered all our questions about the area. The room was large, tastefully decorated and the beds very comfortable. The room, bath and all the general guest areas were spotless clean. The location was perfect - quiet for a good night sleep, but only a few minutes walk to the center of town on a small back street. The breakfast was delicious, freshly cooked and we were offered a great selection to choose from. So all together a very pleasant experience.
Coomassigview was a Home away from Home! We had such a plesent stay there & only wish it could have been longer. Hospitality, comfort, spotless and food second to none! We will be back soon.
The standard of accommodation was excellent. Tea delivered to our room on arrival. Proprietor and family / staff really pleasant, helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay there again and would certainly recommend it. :)
Everything was excellent
Mrs. O'Grady was lovely. She was so gracious and accomodating. I would definitely recommend staying here.
It was a great little B&B halfway around the Ring of Kerry. Mrs. O'Grady was a wonderful host and was so kind. She made an extra pancake for our toddler, even after she had cleaned up the kitchen. The room was spacious and the bathroom was clean with lots of hot water and great water pressure. There was tea/coffee in the room. no complaints.
Mrs O'Grady was very kind and welcoming. Room was very clean and tidy. Breakfast was made to order and very good! I really enjoyed my stay here.
The beds were godlike. Heated mattress on a king size bed is truly heaven. Did not have this kind of luxury anywhere else. Angela is a fantastic host and such a nice woman, we were happy to have her hospitality after a long day on the trail. We stayed for three nights we enjoyed our stay so much. Good breakfast as well.
The room was spacious, clean and bright. The bed was very confortable, and all in all it was excellent value for money no
Big room and bathroom. Very clean. Quiet location. Good breakfast.
Very warm welcome, lovely individual rooms. Choice of breakfast, Irish, pancakes or scrambled eggs and bacon plus fruit, cereals, toast etc. Lots of local tourist information and very helpful when we asked about the new local boat tour, she also asked for our feedback as we were the first guests to go. Local dining would definitely recommend Dooleys but Shellin's which is apparently famed for its shellfish and seafood didn't offer it on the early bird menu, man was a bit grumpy when we went in, so we left. It's an area where it is worth getting to restaurants for the early bird menu as prices per head mean you can get three courses for just one main course - at time of writing 24.95 euros for 3 courses. Good base for Ring of Kerry half way Nothing.
we were greeted with a warm welcome. Everything was done to make us feel welcome and comfortable.
Very friendly lady who didn't hesitate one second to guide us by car as we didn't find the street on our GPS. It was a very windy and cold night, we found our bed preheated with electric blankets. As my wife is vegetarian, pancakes were offered instead of a full Irish breakfast which I enjoyed very much. For a B&B, I can say we felt served like VIP guests. This B&B is an absolute wonderful place to stay when visiting Kerry !
very good breakfast, we did not have a room with a view, looking out on a side yard with a fuel shed on the side wall. Room comfortable, bathroom adequate
The location of the B&B near the marina in Portmagee allowed us to walk to the marina in order to take the boat trip to the Skellig Islands (which is the big draw for this area). It seems that the B&B isn't used to having children/teens. I was traveling with my teenage granddaughters, who were, as teenagers often are, a bit loud. This seemed to off-put the B&B owner a bit. She wasn't unpleasant at all, just hovered a bit. A minor
From the moment we walked in this beautifully cozy home, and were warmly welcomed by Tina, we knew we had made the right decision selecting the Waterfront B&B for our lodging in the sweet cove called Portmagee. From the moment we arrived...perfection! Nothing - absolutely perfect in every way!
