The hotel is comfortable and in a good location The cost is high for the value. Some of the staff is better than others in terms of service
Large well furnished rooms. Get poolside. Excellent service. Sometimes too attentive. Well equipped gym, spa, and business center. Superb breakfast. Good and varied menu for other meals. Staff sometimes too attentive and rather strict and Curt about rule of no coffee service in lobby. No city maps available.
Impeccable communication; free airport transfer was promptly organised and was waiting for me as I arrived. Very close to the airport, quiet street. Welcome drink and efficient check-in. Cold water and a fruit tray were complimentary. Comfortable bed, A/C and fan, toiletries provided. Breakfast will keep you going through the day. All staff very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Would absolutely recommend.
Furniture was new (seemed like it was Ikea furniture) and clean Beds were comfortable Staff was helpful Flatscreen TV Working internet great water pressure and hot shower great breakfast, including a coffee machine that made cappucinos i wish it had a restaurant to order food for dinner
Attentive staff, great views of Kigali, attractive African textiles, complementary breakfast cereals- yogurt-choice of juices-fruit-coffee, hotel manager arranged a good driver to pick me up at the airport ($20), delightful pool, laundry services, wonderfully authentic African experience, safe walking around Kigali even late at night alone as a single woman, and I felt very safe at the hotel. When I was walking I got lost a couple of times coming back to the hotel, until my driver showed me how the hotel is just around the corner from the Gorrilla Hotel, and ndeed, as he explained, "*Everyone* knows where the gorilla hotel is. People in Kigali don't know this hotel. Maybe it's too new. It's a quiet hotel with an unassuming entrance.
