Pros: We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was very innovative with electronic check-in and room controls. We loved the shower! The food was delicious and staff were friendly and courteous. We like how the various spaces for relaxing, reading, meeting, and computer use sort of `unfolded' as we explored the first two floors of the hotel.
Cons: Difficulty in dropping off bags - no apparent place to stop car for that purpose. Parking was a bit far but ok.
Pros: Staff were friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. Bedrooms were small but perfectly sized for our needs. Bed was very comfortable. In room technology was quirky and fun. Bar - cafe - canteen was modern and exciting, with a well curated bar selection and good food. Good views from 6th floor and up.
Despite the bar being busy well into the night, we were not disturbed in our room by noise or light pollution.
Cons: There did not appear to be a gym or fitness area.
This probably not a good hotel for families with young children.
Pros: the room was clean and fine for one person
Cons: Wakened at 4am by other guests on the 6th floor and had to call in a complaint. Didn't sleep again which wasn't ideal as I was down in Glasgow for a business meeting the whole of Monday and felt really tierd. Not impressed!
Cold hot breakfast
Tablet that operated everything didn't work- staff members admitted that wi-fi was poor.
Aspirational but failing

Pros: Very nice lady checked us in. Common rooms were pretty and very
Scottish in decor. Room had a couch that was a nice touch.
Cons: The bathroom was very small. That I can deal with. But the faucets were not attached to the sink well and kept turning around. The hot water was running and filling up the sink. Finally got the water to turn off. The shower head dripped all the time but it just flowed down the drain. It appeared that the sink had tried to be repaired.
Pros: Rooms were spacious and the staff was fantastic.

Pros: The rooms are fabulous. A very comfortable stay. Easy walk into town, the shops & restaurants. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
Pros: The checkin process was easy and location is excellent. The rooms are big and having separate kitchen/living area is a nice alternative to a hotel especially if staying for a few nights or more.
Cons: The lifts are slow but that's about it

Pros: Clean, modern rooms. USB ports built into sockets.

Pros: Walking distance to the airport.
Cons: Air conditioning in the room was broken and the room was small.

Pros: Very nice, clean facilities, nice rooms and is situated right on the River Clyde - nice for strolls along the river.
Cons: Advertised as having an airport shuttle since the facility is near the airport. They in fact only have a part time shuttle, which operates only when they have sufficient staff. The shuttle never operates on Sundays, and on other days, depends on whether or not they have a third person at the front desk.

Pros: The location of the hotel is great! The staff were friendly and our room was nice.
Cons: The leisure facilities could definitely use some renovations. The changing rooms, steam room, and general pool/leisure area were not very clean. The Jacuzzi was not working when we first arrived, though it was available for our last day. I would definitely consider staying here again if these facilities are improved.

Pros: They screwed up and accidentally checked me out a day early, but gave me a nicer room to compensate. The view is not bad. The hotel restaurant is decent. Staff were extremely nice.
Cons: It's a long walk from central Glasgow. You can hear the elevator squeak a bit from the rooms closest to it.
Pros: Love this hotel. The staff are amazing and the amenities are fabulous!
Cons: They are doing some renovation work. Some one was operating a saw right next to our room but I slept through most of it anyway.
Pros: Nice, clean, full service hotel that is located on the River Clyde.
Cons: Front desk clerk said breakfast was included in the rate and gave vouchers. At checkout, a different front desk clerk said they made a mistake and tried to charge for breakfast. They relented, however it was a hassle I shouldn't have had to deal with.
Pros: Breakfast loads of it
Cons: Twin room for a couple, wallpaper peeling mouldy sinks and soup dishes rude staff ignored at reception

Pros: Convenient to the central train station and city centre. Free high-speed internet worked very well.
Cons: We didn't know this was a 'smoking' room, and the odor was very off-putting.
Great friendly staff
Pros: Location near train station and shopping was awesome. Location could not be beat
Cons: Chairs in room had wide extended legs that tripped me once when walking by and skinned my arm. Try to play function above form, no reason for legs of chair to be sticking out so far

Cons: The two single rooms we booked were very small with no air conditioning. The one upholstered chair was thread-bare. With the window open for fresh air the traffic noise was unbearable.
The hotel has a very rigid no refund policy so be very careful when paying up front.
We would not stay at the Grand Central again nor would we recommend it to our friends.
Pros: Nice room. And public areas are impressive. Bit old fashioned
Cons: Upper floors could do with a make over
Cons: Staff could be more friendly and helpful. Also wash cloths and more soap in the rooms would be nice.
Pros: The location and hotel are amazing.
Cons: This hotel is right next to the train station and a very loud night club. It is very loud.
Pros: Great location and value. Beds are comfortable and staff are really friendly.
Cons: Wifi is terrible
