Disney's Magnolia Golf Course
I loved every thing about this place! Best value for your money hands down!
Nice large pools near reception area Lazy river very overcrowded and inconvenient bracelet requirement. Nickel and dime policy
Nice hotel, nice pool Steakhouse inside was very over priced. Thought it would be more of a family like hotel, but is definitely intended for business.
The resort was beautiful and with the Observatory type enclosure over all the hotel, restaurants, shops and convention center any rain or bad weather was a non issue. The resort fee for free water, electronic paper and gymnasium use should have been optional not mandatory.
We had to wait for a lot of things. It was like they were understaffed.
The spa was amazing. Seriously, one of the best massages I've ever had. It was pricy, but worth it. It is also really nice to find a place that has a 3 bedroom option, and I like that the pools were close to the rooms. The location was nice. The steakhouse on the top floor was pretty and the food was very good. The rooms themselves were dated and there was a hum coming out of the air register. Honestly, the rooms were fine, but I would in no way consider them 5 star accommodations and I don't think you should go there expecting anything more than clean and comfortable. Room service was very expensive and the hidden fees were not well explained. They agreed to 'try to accommodate' an early check-in, but the room was not ready until 3 and I don't think anyone else's room was ready early, either. They should just say 'no early check-ins' if they cannot really make it happen. We called several times over our 3 day stay to request a shuttle and sometimes no one answered and we'd have to call back repeatedly.
We came for 3 days to visit Disney parks, which is a 15 minute drive from Champions. The area is surrounded by shopping and dining! The grounds had something for everyone! an arcade for the kids, 3 pools, a romantic lakeside firepit, basketball, baseball and volleyball.. they even showed a movie our first night at the pool. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was beyond amazing. My 10 year old left a box of her collectable toys in a drawer when we checked out and housekeeping found it and set it aside for us to pick up a few days later. My brother and his family stayed down the street at Clarion in an identical room with no activities on site and paid DOUBLE what we did.. But they had free breakfast included. I will still come back to Champions, and just have bfast at mcdnalds $10/person breakfast buffet (which we had our first morning) NOT worth that price Other hotels in the area offer FREE
Location Hard bed . Musty smell, staying near Disney no Disney channels. 10 channels.
Excellent location close to theme parks and malls. Confortable housing. Good restaurant in facility.
Modern furniture Staff made us wait for 2 hrs to give a room saying it was not ready despite having a bookkn made days ahead. Wasted a day , got tired of waiting and could not go out that day .
I liked the entire stay all around. Staff was friendly & I loved that they provided shuttles that drop you off and pick you up at the theme parks. Also, they had a car rental service right by the check in desk & were so quick to get us a nice car for a great price . I will definitely be going back here on my next trip to Orlando . That the pool closes too early .
Run down and sketchy at night.
I stayed in a recently renovated room overlooking the pool area. As requested, I received a quiet room on a high floor and it was actually very quiet at night. The bathroom was updated and clean, and the bed was comfortable. I appreciated the daily replenishment of bottled water, coffee, and tea. The employee who checked me in was very nice, and I was assisted with my luggage upon departure. There were some families staying in the hotel, but it was mostly conference attendees. Many at my conference had to stay at the Swan, but luckily it is just a short walk away. The hallways were a bit warm and smelled like mildew, but at least the rooms were clean. It's not a bad place to have a conference, but it is a little inconvenient that there aren't too many restaurants and bars to go to outside of the ones at the Dolphin and Swan.
Room was far from elevator. Room was hot. Beds weren't as comfortable.
This was my 2nd year staying here and I loved it , spacious ,clean & mkst of all comfortable. The night front desk staff was very rude & also the housekeeping wasnt done poperly everyday
My husband and I have stayed at this hotel several times and really like it but this time we didn't get a chance to stay there. I booked my room last week and the morning of my trip I get an email that the hotel was overbooked and my stay was cancelled. I spent 45 minutes of my morning on the phone about the cancellation or trying to book another hotel.
Request a room whit spa not available at check in, then they give me a room whit a small refrigerator no happy about that.
Nothing Unfriendly staff. I did not like it
Everything was amazing. . The king suites are definitely the way to go.. the whirlpool tub was everything! Be sure to book the exact amount of days you want though. I tried to book an extra day but was told id have to move to another building because someone was checking in behind us. So we just checked out as scheduled. . But other than that.. wonderful. . $10 a day resort fee & not enough parking
Location is excellent Dated. Small double beds, tiny refrigerator, no ice available nearby
The hotel was very nice and clean. We didn't get to see much of the property because most of our time spent there was sleeping. The shower was bigger than a regular hotel shower and the pressure was perfect! Our room was connected to another and I could hear everything the family in the next room was saying or doing. My bed was a little hard
Dirty juzzci... hair all over
The units are large, spacious, plenty of room for a family of 5. Comes with a fully equipped kitchen and in unit laundry. The pool was heated and the hot tub was great after a long day at the parks. Staff was friendly and helpful. Each unit has a screened private balcony. The decor in the units seemed a bit dated but everything was clean so hard to complain.
Spacious unit, nice kitchen, lots of trees around Check-in staff woman did not tell us that the beds are not made and the towels are not replaced or the trash emptied unless you stay for 2 weeks! We stayed 2 nights. If we had known we could have dealt with that. Also when she gave us room key cards, she said "don't demagnetize them, don't put with cell phones". So we went directly to our room, carefully carrying both cards. Neither one worked. So, we went back to office. She said, "Oh, you demagnetized them". No, we did not! Also when needing boarding passes printed she waved us over to some computers, which required a password. I asked her what the password was, she said "No, not those computers, those other ones (on the other side of the room)". She made us feel wrong and stupid whenever possible. There were also no hair dryers. When we called at 7:30 am she said" You need to look in the cabinets". We searched everywhere. When we called back she said one would be brought over. At 8:15 we called again. She said, "Oh, the housekeeping doesn't come in until 8, I already put in an order. (scolding us)" We left the room at 8:30, wet hair and no hair dryer. The furniture is very old and worn, stained cushions on chairs. General run-down, gloomy appearance. I suppose if you are there with a family there seem to be a lot of activities available, but we were a couple just there for a room.
