Pros: the building and grounds were beautiful. It was really nicely and conveniently located. The in door pool is on the small side but great if you have small kids. But if that doesn't work you're literally down the street from a beautiful public beach. Restaurant was very nice but the food was more just okay. Still for the service and convenience no complaints. It's also right next to a casino if that's your thing for nighttime entertainment. The comp breakfast is always a great bonus for these properties and was very god and well stocked. Beds were really comfortable!
Cons: The only thing that I can say I didn't like is a super small thing, but I noticed. The pool towels were tiny. Smaller than bath towels. They were silly, but like I said it was a very small blip on an otherwise awesome property and wouldn't keep me from staying there AT ALL.
Pros: Very clean facility and convenient to visit the Parks. Good breakfast.
Pros: The service was great
The location was fantastic as it was accessible between different woods.
We had a late pancake nights all through august which made coming back to the hotel after casinos amazing!
They had Wifi and basic able making watching TV enjoyable again.
Klamath was a small town so it's nextdoor to a visitors center and different tourist attractions, the staff is also very friendly and informative if you're not from around the area so they can inform you on what places there are to visit.
Cons: Nothing was troubling or stuck out in a negative fashion.
One of the bellboys helped me carry ice back whenI needed an ice pack and they were very accommodating and friendly. (Thank you!)
Pros: Complimentary breakfast was nice and the facilities were very clean and comfortable.
Pros: The bed was the softest, most luxurious bed I have ever slept in. This place is a gem
Pros: Room 22 is very spacious and comfortable. The king bed gave us a good night's sleep. The staff is friendly, cheerful, and very helpful. Generally speaking, this is a great jump back into history. We would be happy to visit it again in the future. There is wifi, but cell service is touch and go. No TV, which we viewed as a benefit.
Cons: Claw foot tub-shower is very small in this room. Some other rooms (we peaked) have more modern showers. Most rooms are much smaller than 22, but would still be reasonable.
Reviews had raved about 5-course dinners that were exceptional. We found that these had been discontinued for off-season. A Panini sandwich with a serving of potato salad followed by a slice of cake was tasty, but not up to expectations.
Pros: Front desk staff and the lady who prepared the food on the morning
Cons: Room old decor old beds uncomfortable
Elevators old and dirty, trash in corners and an old diaper in trash can in elevator
Continental breakfast was poor
Pros: Big room
Cons: Poor and very odd layout of the room. Example, bathroom sink is in right in front of the bed. King size mattress sitting on 2 twin box supports. Cheap material used to furnish and decorate. Check in clerk was not helpful at all. She put us in a room right in front of the elevator. I asked her to put us in another room became my wife is a light sleeper, her response was that that would be a upgrade and would cost more. Place smells like a weed smokers den throughout the hotel. Never coming back again. Cannot recommend this place at all.
A great choice for a stay in Crescent City, Lighthouse Inn is just 4.6 mi (7.4 km) from the airport. Free perks include WiFi, self parking, and continental breakfast daily between 6 AM and 10 AM.
Pros: I was alittle skeptical from the looks out side. But I really liked it here!
Pros: Convenient location, excellent and friendly staff. Breakfast was standard fare - nothing fancy, but adequate. Overall neat and tidy.
Cons: Room wasn't as clean as we would have liked, but was acceptable.

Pros: Breakfast was great, super selection and the attendant was very nice. Front desk staff was really nice too
Cons: The walls are paper thin. I asked to be away from stairs and on a top floor - we were at the bottom of the stairs and on ground level. The noise from the stairs was so loud at all hours. The people above us were extremely noisy for hours.
Also, not nearly enough parking for each room. We arrived in the evening and had to park in a spot that didn't even seem to be marked.
Pros: The rooms were clean and check in was easy
Cons: They cleaned up breakfast an hour early, we had to ask for food, plates, and utensils.

Pros: The bed was super comfy and there were a lot of tv channels. So for a night to rest, it served its purpose. The staff were all also really nice.
Cons: The area was a little shady. Our room faced the ocean, but it also faced a trailer park. There were a lot of cuter, more lively towns along the coast to stay. If I go through again, I'd probably stop in one of those instead.
Pros: We came through for a 5 day getaway and everyone told us we made a mistake booking in Crescent City, they were wrong. We couldn't have picked a bettter place to stay. Quiet, private, close to the beach and some decent restaurants. Great proximity to Jedidiah Smith State Park. The room was clean and ready for us even though we arrived half an hour earlier than check in time. The front desk staff was all very friendly and helpful in addressing our needs. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quiet getaway close to the beach and close to the Redwoods. Oh! And our dog loved it too!
Pros: Easy to find
Cons: Bad owners, very cheap. Outdated and terrible bed
Pros: Overall this is a nice little hotel. It isn't fancy like a Hilton, and we didn't want something like that. It is a bit higher priced than it should be, but probably is in line with like properties along U.S. 101. It was easy to find and the front desk staff was very friendly. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Some people complained in their reviews about the fact that a RV park is next door, but that didn't bother us and the park's residents were quiet. The free breakfast suited us just fine because it includes bagels and cream cheese - one of our favorites. The hotel was fine and we enjoyed our stay.
Cons: Can't think of anything we didn't like. It met our expectations.
Pros: The room was big, the bed was comfortable, the shower was good. We slept well, woke refreshed and are happy we stayed here. We were concerned about the rv park behind us, especially because we stayed on a Saturday night, but it was quiet.
Cons: The hotel is near the water, and we were definitely able to hear the waves, but the rv park have us pause. In the end, we wanted the windows open so decided we didn't care if people saw us wandering around in various stages of undress.
Pros: Right on the beach. Breakfast was adequate Rooms were clean.
Cons: Garbage can on balcony smelled like it hadn't been changed out in a while
Pros: The convenience of being right off of the highway & near the beach was perfect! Restaurants within walking distance were very nice, also.
Cons: There was nothing that we didn't like.
Pros: What is there to say I didn't like the room was suppose to get a ocean view room nope instead I got a old rv to look at
Cons: Everything the staff was rude put us in a room that felt like I was in jail looked like blood stains in front of the door will never stay at this hotel again!!
Pros: We had a unavoidable delay in our drive resulting in a very late check in 2am. The staff was just as friendly, helpful and upbeat as if we had checked in at 2pm. Very close to the water and short drive to Redwood forest and the light house. Great restaurant within walking distance Harbor View Grotto. All staff were very nice and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.
Pros: The nice staff
Cons: The only designed rooms
A great choice for a stay in Crescent City, Anchor Beach Inn is just 4.9 mi (7.9 km) from the airport. The spa tub makes for a relaxing end to the day, and free perks include continental breakfast, WiFi, and self parking. Rooms feature bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves.
Cons: Bed bugs or fleas... woke up with all of us covered in bugs.
Pros: It had rooms available late at night.
Cons: I was nearing the end of a12 day, 23 state Road trip with my wife and 2 young daughters in January 2017 and looking to experience the red wood forest...now for the worst experience I have ever had..
Management whom is also the owner, older Asian man "Xj" clearly does not care about customers or customer service. I had paid extra for an oceanview room. Once I arrived in my room I quickly noticed my room faced a housing complex and a parking lot. I went to the front desk to express my discontent with the room as is stated to do in their paperwork within the first 30min. After she said she could move me to another room for an additional fee I said enough is enough and asked for a refund for the additional cost I paid for the ocean view room or for the entire room. She said she had to get her manager who was in street clother and was sitting at the bar drinking with a few other people. He came over and argued that the room was an ocean view, which not only had I looked out my window but I also walked around the hotel just to make sure it clearly wasn't before talking to staff. Once I told him this he replied " You damn Americans, I don't have time for this. How did you reserve your room?" I told him I reserved online and had selected the * pay at the hotel option. * he replied "good take it up with the website now get out of my hotel" and he went back to the bar. Not sure what just happened I called Expedia who said they couldn't refund me because I paid at the hotel, he wouldn't refund me because I reserved online clearly he was trying to keep the money I had paid. I had to cancel the payment through my credit card company. I had never experienced anything like this in my life and was mortified that someone cared so little about customers in the hospitality industry.
The rooms smell horribly of smoke and mildew, mediocre outdated furniture, many better options in this small tourist town. I stayed at a different hotel and had great service and a good room.
Cons: Rooms were Dirty used bandaid with blood on floor in bathroom in first room someone else's clothes in drawers of second room. Restaruant was expensive and terrible mostly frozen entrees heated up. Front desk staff not allowed to recommend other restaurants in the area. Looks on doors did not work.
Pros: The room was vary nice and comfortable, it had a great view of the ocean with a balcony. Bathroom had a one person jet tub that was nice. There were a few signs of repair in the hallways and some in our room but over all a vary nice hotel. This hotel was vary dog friendly and I saw many guests with there dogs. They had a nice restaurant with good food you could bring to room and eat if you like.
Cons: Some signs of repair and restoration in the halls and bathroom.
Pros: Good location on the beach. Looks like a nice place
Cons: $50 pet fee. Rooms say oceanfront but they arent. They are parking lot view. Misleading and hotel makes no accomodations for their errors.
Oceanfront Lodge is a great choice for your beach stay in Crescent City. The indoor pool provides fun for everyone, while guests in the mood for pampering can indulge in spa services. The restaurant is a great spot for a bite to eat and cold drinks are served at the bar/lounge. There's a casino and a nightclub, and in-room conveniences include refrigerators and microwaves.
Pros: Close proximity to surrounding areas; coastline, redwood forest, rivers, Klamath, smith. Short drive to Brookings Oregon, Harris beach, Klamath, and walking distance to the Crescent City harbor, lighthouse. The staff was very friendly, and helpful. Reasonable cost for rooms. We spent our time out, and only used our room for sleeping and showers.
Cons: Very reduced parking in front, big trucks and SUV have little room. Parking garage is next door and helps with overflow. No lounge/common area. Outdated architectural design, both interior and exterior.
Pros: I was greeted warmly and pleased to find a fridge in the room. I enjoyed the large room with ample space for my suitcase and was greeted by friendly cleaning staff when I checked out.
Cons: Nothing fancy, very basic but good value!
Pros: Location and people were great
Pros: Was ok for a night.
Cons: A bit rundown.
Pros: Clean room
Coffee maker, microwave
Well stocked bathroom
Sanitary seal on toilet
Standard cable TV channels
Cons: Outdated interior
Alternate parking in adjacent garage small and tight
Old school TV
Pros: It was very convenient for our road trip on HWY 101. The staff was friendly. Lots of space. Overall it was good.
Cons: You can hear everything outside your door (the rooms circle the parking lot). Any noise anywhere, really (above, next door, etc). But most people were quiet by 10 pm. Wifi is free, but spotty.
Pros: The price was definitely right. The staff was very friendly. We got upgraded to a room with a view and that was a nice perk.
Cons: The room was a bit small, but the price was also small, so you get what you pay for at this place. There's not a lot to do nearby, but that is no fault of the establishment.
Pros: It was a great value for the price. We chose this place because it was the cheapest one in Crescent City, but they upgraded us to a room with a kitchenette and seperate bedroom/living room. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly.
Cons: They provide parking, but it's in a very small garage that may be a little hard to maneuver in. The internet speed isn't too good, but we were eventually able to stream Netflix on it.
Pros: Friendly staff. Well maintained older hotel.
Cons: Traffic noise can be heard in the room during the day. Fortunately, traffic drops at night, so it didn't keep me awake.
Pros: Customer service, clean.
Cons: Loud street while sleeping
Pros: Pretty much what I expected from a decent cheap motel. It got the job done. Comfortable bed, clean sheets/towels, TV, internet, etc. No complaints. Friendly owners, kind of a little family-owned type of thing.
A great choice for a stay in Crescent City, Front Street Inn is just 4.1 mi (6.6 km) from the airport. Guests will have free perks like WiFi and self parking.
Pros: The room was large. Staff was friendly. Price was right. Starbucks was next door. And oddly enough, the 1 thing I appreciated the most was the overhang above the parking spots. I arrived in the middle of a downpour, & it helped to stay dry.
Pros: Good place
Cons: Expand breakfast items
Pros: Clean and spacious room with a comfortable bed and well kept grounds. We will definitely stay here again when in town and would now consider this chain in our travels.
Cons: Nothing comes to mind.
Pros: Front desk lady was friendly, room was clean, overall atmosphere was pleasant, plenty of eating options nearby, and they do have a continental breakfast.
Cons: Everything was fine.
Pros: The hotel was right along the main highway through town and easy accessible. For $55 a night there was also a small continental breakfast included with bagels, muffins, and cereal. Also the room included a coffee maker, hair dryer, microwave, and a small refrigerator with freezer...don't usually see those in more expensive hotels.
Cons: The WiFi had terrible connection, and although we couldn't see the dirt, our two year old's feet turned black from walking barefoot in the room!
Pros: The facility was older, but was spotlessly clean and neat. Well run, good continental breakfast, and attentive staff. A real bargain for the price.

Pros: The service we received was great. The price was really affordable, and it was great that we were able to get a room at the last minute. Their recent remodel looks great, and very warm and inviting.
Cons: Bathroom is really small. Odd paint choice for the bathroom as well. There was one night where some kids were running around, banging on doors and being loud but it got taken care of really quick.
Cons: Bed bugs
Pros: I would stay there again
Cons: Fans in the summer time would be nice
Cons: Very dingy would not stay here again
Pros: Room was clean and private. That's about it. Pretty basic not bad not great. Pizza Hut and liquor store across st. You'll need them. Pizza Hut open until 11
Cons: Lots of trash in corner of lot. It will do if you're trying to save

Pros: Pool, great location, room had a fridge and freezer, microwave. We just hung out on the beach then warmed up in the hot tub. Would recommend this place and stay there again .
Cons: There was no "do not disturb" sign so every morning we were woken up by the room attendant banging on the door, I don't think she could hear me say "we're fine, thanks" so more banging while I ran around for clothes to open it and tell her. It wasn't super early, but I'm up all night due to work so I'm not a morning person! But they were friendly when I opened the door and just asked for a coffee serving refill.
Pros: The staff was very nice and the rooms were clean and we could use the indoor pool even though it was storming
A great choice for a stay in Crescent City, Penny Saver Inn is just 3.7 mi (5.9 km) from the airport. Guests can take a dip in the indoor pool and indulge in spa services.
Pros: For the price we paid, this was a really good hotel. I was impressed by the cleanliness especially. The room seemed to be in good order and was kept up well (no broken amenities, etc.)
Cons: The continental breakfast didn't have a huge selection of food items. It was still a good breakfast, but a few more choices would have been nice.
Pros: Nothing about it.
Cons: I felt unsafe. It was the only place with per diem rate $83/nightly. The manager was rude. There was no air conditioning. I felt like I was homeless. Horrible conditions. I will never stay there again nor will I ever advise anyone to stay there.
Pros: OK location across street from okay restaurant and harbor.
Cons: The toilet was loose on the floor and the toilet paper roll holder was falling off the wall. The wifi didn't connect properly. Staff were less than friendly or helpful. Breakfast was marginal.
Pros: overall fair facilities for the town and type.
Cons: Didn't like the switching of prices at checkin and having to call customer service to honor price. Just honor it.
Pros: The room was clean.
Cons: Really frustrated at how difficult is was to connect to wifi and then when connected it didn't even work. We asked management about it and they said to "just keep trying" we stayed for 2 nights and were connected but couldn't view anything, even emails.
Cons: We didn't expect much, but we were caught off guard when the heater didn't work, the light above the sink was broken, the clock didn't work, and the smoke detector was MISSING off the wall.
