Staff were all very helpful. Food very good. Mountain scenery amazing.
The Aristi Mountain Resort hotel is a new hotel (only 4 years old), the roomsa are very spacious each with a veranda, beautiful surroundings, the hotel restaurant serves great food, but above all the staff were very helpful and always willing to help
Very peaceful location in mountains. Large well equipped bedroom.
We were very dissapionted with the hotel, as would never classify it as small "Luxury" hotel, but as a guest house. Apart of few design items, hotel was eqipped, you do not find anything else. No reception. No telephone line in the room. No car access, you need to park about 200-300 away and climb up to the rooms. The most terrible fing, that thouse 2 nights we staied at the hotel whey didn't have a water!!! We arrived after all day driving and could'n take a shower. In the deep everning water was on... Next morning again off... no morning toitet... We did 8 hours trekking trip in Vikos corge, came back late and againg after all couldn't take shower!!!! No water again. It was horrible. Hotel management is not able to oprete it as hotel.
The setting is fantastic - you feel you're on top of the world! The rooms are comfortable (not luxury) and we really liked the "eco/wood" style. Home made cakes for breakfast. You have to leave your car by the church and walk up the steep cobbled village streets to get to the hotel - but they will then come and collect your bags. The word "luxury" is a little misleading (but it is perfectly comfortable for those used to luxury hotels!). The shower-room was small with no window - but well-equipped and fine for a couple of nights. The owners hardly speak English - but they did a great job to make us feel at home.
The food was amazing at the restaurant, rooms were designed really well nothing at all.
The owners were so friendly I immediatelly felt like home, the rooms are spacious and very well equiped (big flat tv, dvd, coffee maker etc) and they uniquely combine traditional and modern style, as for the bed, I could spend 2 hours talking about how well I slept and how comfortable the matress was! the breakfast, even though there werent many choices (it's an 8 or 9 room hotel afterall) was tasty (especially the home made jams). Everything else was great too (the view, the bath products) every single detail noticed! there's a drawback to having wooden floors and ceilings: when people from upstairs walk you can hear them. Also there wasn't a phone in my room (which could also be added as a "plus")
