10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner was really nice and very helpful. She helped us to get a place in a restaurant even if it was at the last moment. We needed to leave early in the morning and she was so kind that she prepared a small and very good brakfast for us. Furthermore the place was really nice and cosy! We will definitely recommend it!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice place! Beautiful, clean, the host is very friendly. Great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The accomodation is very nice and modern, situated in the typical alsacien house, near from the Strasbourg, accessible by car. The bed is very comfortable, good breakfast, small kitchen is available.
7.0 Good
Pros: Very nice room and very clean. All new and nice bathroom. Very comfortable bed for a nice sleep and very quiet. Nice village experience outside the city center. Easy to park your car. The owner was kind and welcoming
Cons: The breakfast was extremely poor unfortunately and this spoiled some of the experience. I noticed that the owner in a previous review promised to a guest that the next time there will be some eggs, but this was not the case. Only jams and some cold croissants. Not even some cheese or ham. The owner asked me only the first day if I wanted some cheese 10 minutes after I had finished my breakfast. Maybe that is something common in France I don't know. Also if you have any dietary requirements it will be a big issue. The wi-fi was extremely slow. The room was very cold when we entered. When you expect a guest you should also turn on the heating. Overall not good value for money and definitely it shouldn't be advertised as breakfast included, as this was not the case. The owner should try to improve seriously in this issue
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property is a family home that was originally a manor house built in 1798. The main house and servants quarters were completely remodeled in 2015 and retain all of their original 1800's charm and character. There are three guest rooms in the refurbished servants quarters and all are very comfortable. There is a small living room and kitchen to share in that building, but a larger very comfortable living room where the host serves a great breakfast every morning.
Cons: If you are looking for a busy central location you should plan on staying in Strasbourg which is 10 minutes away by car otherwise this location is perfect for a quiet get away.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Mary the host was most helpful and friendly, she even booked us a restaurant for the evening meal. The place was very pretty, clean and comfortable. Would definitely go back and recommend.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked everyting. Lovely renovation of an old farmhouse and very kids-friendly. Very clean.
Cons: Breakfast would have been even better with some eggs from La Grange aux Coqs!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely environment and warm host
Cons: None. We wanted to stay in a small village near the city
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had our choice of two rooms - both lovely and comfortable. We choice the room on the ground floor. Breakfasts were good and she would have got whatever we preferred if it wasn't there already. We were caught short one day and she prepared a light lunch for us unasked. They provided GPS and driving information which we needed! When I found I had left my phone charger in the last hotel, they lent me one until I could buy a new one!
Cons: Nothing.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The whole entire place was really clean and decorated with taste. There are also parking places which is very handy (also, safe as the parking was behind the gates). Anne was extremely friendly, always making sure we got everything. Our apartment was for five people therefore, very open, big and comfortable. There was an extra toilet upstairs. The wifi worked with ease. It is only a 14 minute drive to strasbourg from this place. Also, near by there are many interesting little towns to visit and there are many supermarkets.
Cons: There is nothing that I didn't like.

Cons: Everything was very good
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Christiane was extremely helpful and friendly
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Our room was clean and comfortable. Some of the breakfast items, such as the applesauce, were prepared from produce raised on the farm. The restaurant across the street had excellent food for dinner. A common room offered a place for snacks and games for families and groups.
Cons: The drive into Strasbourg is more challenging than I expected and our point in staying here was to visit Strasbourg. Some of the roads are very narrow and I would recommend arriving in daylight until you are familiar with the area.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely b&b with beautiful garden and swimming pool. Incredibly kind owner. Clean and spacious bedroom, with everything you need for your stay (including kettle, cutlery, fridge, plates, etc). Private parking. Great breakfast with home-made jams, pastries, bread, coffee, tea, cheese, eggs. Loved it!
Cons: Crowing roosters could wake you up in case you are a light sleeper. I would recommend taking earplugs with you, just in case.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We travelled through Alsace for 3 weeks and this was our favorite! The hostess and host were amazing and they spoke English well. The breakfast was delicious and the pool was so refreshing. It was a short, easy trip to Strasbourg and we loved being on a farm. Good restaurants were in walking distance. Truly loved it.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: The hostess and her hospitality was of someone you rarely meet and always dream about when you think of a bed and breakfast. Full of energy, friendly, warm and very welcoming. We loved our stay.
Cons: There is not really something we did not like. If there is anything we would have loved is to have had the dinner at our location but it was February and very low season.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: This a typicall Alsatian refurbished house. All the materials and techniques used for the restoration are original and all the forniture is typical of this area. The host is great and, if you ask, is available tu give you every information you need on the house and on the surroundings as well. Great stay!
Cons: Everything was great. Nothing to say here.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our host Katrine was so friendly and hospitable. It snowed so it was cozy AND the grounds were beautiful.
Cons: Steep staircase up to room but manageable. What do you expect in a place built in the 1600’’s?
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely location in a quiet village. Comfortable room. The breakfast was excellent with everything you could possibly want.
Cons: Parking. Based on the description I had expected to park 'on-site', not by the roadside, so having to park on the roadside, albeit in a very very quiet location was a negative for me. The WiFi wasn't working either, which was unfortunate. These things considered I felt it was a little expensive and not good value.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The room! Beautiful combination of new facilities and classic housing and furniture.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Charming place and the best hostess you could imagine. Interesting and exciting buildning with lots of historical objects to explore. Despite the house dating back 400 years all the facilities were modern, clean and comfortable. Nice to be able to cool off in the pool. Good breakfast. Comfy beds. No disturbance, very quiet and calm. Catherine will take the best care of you, she was so kind and helpful. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay which we ended up extending by one night.
Cons: It is a bit hard to get to by train and bus BUT if you travel by car it is perfect.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great host, nice romantic place on a good location. Really enjoyed our stay. It was great we could use the bikes two nights for free!

Pros: The host was very nice, prepared breakfast each morning and stayed late until I've arrived, after midnight. Overall, the stay was super nice, the room very clean.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great room in a century old historic building which was beautifully renovated by the owner. Great warm host prepared awesome breakfasts and gave lots of recommendations for locations in the area. Downtown Strasbourg either 15 min by car, or 30 min by nearby tram.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our room was beautifully furnished & decorated, the bathroom large & modern. The owners very welcoming & we had a glass of wine in the courtyard on our arrival.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The owner Laurence made our stay really special, she went over & beyond with kindness & service. Very clean, fresh sheets, fresh smelling towels!! Owner & daughter both spoke some English which was fantastic! Fresh baked goods daily for breakfast, if you prefer croissants in place of stick bread that can need only to ask, here they aim to please!! Offered to drive us to the hairdresser (tho we walked, wasn't far) & made the apt. for us to get our hair done. We came to stay 6 days in an affordable place & ended up making special new friends. Weren't planning on returning before we stayed here but will be back for sure!!
Cons: Some plants or flowers in the outside seating area.. would make it so much cozier out there :) Bathroom door needs trimmed in downstairs bath as it scrapes the floor when you open or close it. Otherwise.. No complaints!!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: First of all, the owner, this really nice lady herself, who’s heartwarming, funny, open-minded, talkative(but not annoying at all) and very tentative, already made the stay special. We enjoyed our small talks with her at breakfasts, feeling like spending time with a new friend, like staying at home. She always checked with us when we’d like to have breakfast on the next morning and then showed up there every morning, making sure we had everything we needed. There’s a decent choice of breakfast for a small guesthouse, different kinds of cheese, marmalades and breads (sweet and salty). You can pull your hot tee/coffee or grab a cold drink from the fridge anytime you like, like at home:) Oh and we got fresh towels everyday, thanks to the lovely lady. The house speaks for itself, authentic, romantic, well balanced rustic charm and mordern living comfort, with many tasteful decorative details. The location is not only perfect for visiting Strasbourg (20 mins by tram, the station 5 mins walk from the house, the ticket is quite cheap), but also if you wanna take a ride on the famous “Wine Street” and visit those lovely wine villages, just ask the hostess, she’d be happy to offer you insider tips.:) You have everything you need in walking distance here. Last but not the least, you can park your car safely for free in the yard, which normally costs 10 euros or even more per day in the city! All in all, we enjoyed our stay so much here and wanna thank you again for your hospitality and the heartwarming “surprise” for us in the end(it was delicious :)) Schöne Grüße aus Düsseldorf
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Te breakfast was excellent!

Cons: Our third stay there so obviously no complaints!
7.0 Good
Pros: Good restaurant and friendly staff.
Cons: Be careful if you book from a service area, although said 1.5 miles, took ages to get there.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Pleasant staff, very nice swimming pool, quiet location ... very relaxing break on a bike trip. The restaurant is also quite good and fairly priced.
Cons: Restaurant is good overall but the tarte flambé that I received, and all others that I saw, were scorched around the edges. Too much carbon and the cook didn’t seem to notice.

7.0 Good
Pros: Very quiet. Nice bathroom, unfortunately not to be used in the evening. Room and bathroom were super clean.
Cons: Unfortunately we arrived a bit late (21:30) due to traffic problems in Luxemburg so the owner told us not to take any shower because his children were already sleeping. After a long and demanding trip the possibility to take a shower and relax is really a minimum. I would suggest staff to inform customers on the booking.com site if they do not accept arrivals after a specific hour. Spartan breakfast. Apparently no restaurants in the close neighborhood.
7.0 Good
Pros: Rural setting, quiet. Modern annexe. Owners friendly.
Cons: Breakfast very very poor. Chose a place speifically with breakfast included. Nicely presented but literally only bread and jam! I was expecting a farmhouse type breakfast so this was very disappointing for France - no cheese, ham, eggs or even cereal, let alone hot options. No shampoo or shower gel or soap. The house is in a small hamlet with no shops of any sort, nearest place to eat 10km away in Saverne.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast is great! The shower is also very nice. The place is good value.
Cons: The main bedroom had a fan and was fine - the smaller children's room was very hot (to be fair, it was 39 degrees outside) - a sheet rather than a duvet would have been a good idea.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A lovely warm welcome and very smart and clean accommodation

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Larger room than expected. Well provisioned breakfast. Parking outside, free between 7pm and 9am.
Cons: Strange location of toilet in bathroom with very short space in front - could be a problem for people with longer legs.
6.3 Good
Pros: The location is good. It is located within a short stroll to the high street and the train station. There is no parking at the hotel itself, but there is a parking lot within a 3-minute walk -- and if you are lucky, you may even find a space in the lot that offers free parking. The size of the room is very good, and there is a mini fridge. Lots of hot water in the shower, but water pressure is not that great. The staff are nice, but I have a feeling they may be over-worked as there is only 1 person doing front desk duties and also setting up for breakfast.
Cons: The room itself is showing its age, but everything still functions. The bed was a bit too hard. The water pressure in the shower is not that great. There is no one at front desk after a certain time, so if guests encounter problems, there is no one available to help out. The biggest problem we had was not having wifi. The wifi was down shortly after we checked in and into the next morning, and staff were unable to provide a solution to the problem, or offer any information as to if or when it will be fixed (from our conversation with staff, it seems this is a recurring problem). This became critical for us due to us needing good and stable wifi connection to do some work, so we had to check out and look for another accommodation. In this day and age, wifi is an essential amenity a hotel should be able to offer, and this hotel did not provide that. Poor value for money, and no compensation offered to make up for the inconvenience of not having the amenities promised.
