This was a fabulous stay. The surroundings were amazing and nothing was too much trouble for them The breakfast was adequate but not particularly spectacular.
the place is undergoing a major renovation. although not warned of this when booking our stay was pleasant with a good room. we were upgraded to a large room. dinner was in a temporary but pleasant (bar?) area as main restaurant was closed due to the renovations. food was good polish cuisine. we enjoyed it & had the place virtually to ourselves rather chilly in all areas & only 2 TV channels , both in polish. we were told this was temporary due to renovations. no lift. quite tricky to find. Should be a fine place to stay when the refurbishment is complete
The hotel appears to be a converted country manor house closely located to the town of Mszana Dolna. The room was spacious and quite comfortable. Some staff could speak English and I was made very welcome. Because there was a function on on my date of arrival and a subsequent date of my stay the staff went out of their way to reserve a parking place in the main courtyard next to reception which was very thoughtful and appreciated. The restuarant for dinner is a walk away across the courtyard and is used for various other functions. On one night a wedding took place and there was partying going on in the courtyard until 4 am. Unfortunately my room overlooked the courtyard so sleep was difficult. Perhaps the hotel should try to ensure that hotel guests not involved with functions are booked on the other side of the hotel.
Very good service, flexible approach. Clean and fresh rooms and toilets. good breakfast. Good locations for trips to Pieniny and Tatra mountains. Small parking, shared with some production facility.
Nice, very helpful and pleasant staff. Clean, wide and confortable room, quiet. The dinner. The breakfast could be a little better.
The hotel was nice and the rooms comfortable. For us, it was a pleasant visit in this little farmer village without stress. Families have their own cows that they walked from the fields through the village and to each house stall.
The restaurant and staff in the restaurant attached were brilliant and did everything to help. We stayed here for 10 nights. The room was never cleaned and the beds never made. The receptionist did give us clean towels occasionally. There was a language problem of course but we did not know whether perhaps in a pension in Poland this is the norm.
A good stay for a night for a small amount of money. An old village at the countryside of the Tatra mountains with cows around the corner and horse carriages on the road.
It was very good and we would like come back. Please check the room every day (cleaning)
New building, good food and price.
