Cons: Would have liked to have been able to check in before 6pm
Pros: Fulfilled my requirements for an overnight stay that was comfortable and adequte. The member of staff I saw ( The cook) was friendly and helpful and cooked and served a good breakfast.
Pros: Excellent food and real ale
Cons: Very poor public transport
Pros: This is the second time we have stayed at this Inn. The food is very wholesome and tasty and the portions are enormous! This is a very friendly country pub with clean, comfortable accomodation, and is great value for money. We were attending a cycling event and the staff got up early to prepare us an excellent breakfast.
Pros: the rooms were really clean and nice. The staff very helpful. The food plentiful
Pros: Very friendly, country pub style. Excellent food, good beer
Cons: External steep stairs to bedrooms
Pros: The friendliness of the owners, staff and local customers. The food was excellent at both breakfast and evening meals. Bacon was the real thing!
Cons: The shower in the room was a little 'hit and miss'. The temperature control was not working so had to 'dance' around the shower.
Pros: The cleanliness of the hotel rooms were fantastic. The beds were very comfortable and the bedlinen was superb. The staff at the hotel were very welcoming and attentive to all requests. Overall I would recommend it for anyone who wants an overnight stay.
Cons: There was only one bad point and that was some dog excrement in the hall from the rooms to the dinning room, which unfortunately I trod in. However the staff made sure my shoes were cleaned. It was an unfortunate incident for which I believe a one off, and the staff were very appologetic.
Pros: the Staff were fantastic, the prices were good, would recommend
