Nice terrace, good place to sit and chill. Big room, but lighting could have been better. With fridge which was very nice and good AC.
The owner seemed very rude and not very accommodating. On the first day we asked the employee at check in if we could use the "stove" behind the bar to cook something, he said yes but the next day the owner said we weren't allowed, got very loud towards the employee (the poor guy :( ), we ended up being able to use it once because we had meat that would have gone bad but don't expect any possibility to cook your own food here! Also loud maintenance in the morning that woke us up sometimes. Maybe because it's not high season.
The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. However there is no aircon so the rooms were very hot.
The staff didn't speak much English and were fairly unfriendly. They also hung around the only common area all day and it made me feel uncomfortable to use that space.
The breakfast is huge which is normally hard to find among hostels in Thailand. Furthermore, it was quite delicious. The staff was friendly and polite, beware they do not speak a lot of English, but still, we understood each other. Rooms are perfect for youngsters and backpackers like us. Beds were really comfortable and the rooms also had working fans and A/C. Location is great because it can be reached easily on foot and it is near both Shark Bay and the Pier Bay.
The bathroom was cleanish but smelled a bit of sewers. Water was chilly
No soap for washing Hands, also after i asked. No ac in rooms
Great location, the room was nice too. The best part was the people working there! So friendly and kind. They let us check in earlier and check out later. Always smiling and gave us wonderful tips! Thank you so much for everything
