Special is the word that comes to mind when we think back on our stay at Agrotourism Japodi. Robert and Jagoda are not only two of the nicest people we've ever met. They are the perfect combination of gourmet cooks, wine and Croatia experts, and just great people. We've never felt more like we were staying with old friends than we did during our stay. The food they cooked was some of the best and freshest we've ever had. The rooms are great and the feel is so comfortable. Sitting and chatting on the big comfy sofas was great. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer. We're not big on repeats in our travels, since there is so much in the world to see, but this place and these people are an exception to that. We plan to visit our fiends at Agrotourism Japodi again!
Best hospitality I have ever experienced. The guest is the main priority in this homely, intimate hotel. For a nominal cost we were cooked a gorgeous 3 course traditional Croatian meal. Not a typical hotel - Japodi manages to combine the atmosphere of a family B&B with the high quality of a hotel. Beautiful surroundings and very close to countless natural attractions. Owners are very helpful in providing information on the area and fascinating anecdotes. topped off by a very friendly and welcoming golden retriever (Don). An unforgettable stay.
Great hotel with spacious rooms and nice restaurant. Staff is helpful. Overall, highly recomended.
Fuzine is a wonderful small village. The area is full of nature and close enough to drive to Opatija for the beach. Four star quality for half the price! The room, the staff and the location were perfect.
Very friendly, courteous and helpful staff. No major bad points.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel had charm and was conveniently located right in the middle of Fuzine. The wireless service did not work. I think this is do to the fact that the hotel is located in a very mountainous area.
We really enjoyed the one night we stayed at Hotel Bitoraj. Wish we would have been able to stay a few extra nights. Nice hotel, with large rooms and comfortable furnishings. Not really
excellent services no
We had a perfect stay at this hotel. The room was spacious and clean and very quiet at night. The staff were more than kind, always trying to make us feel at home. They even noted that it was the birthday of one of us and gave us a small celebration including music and a glass of wine at dinner. The food at the restaurant was excellent and the life music created a very lifely atmosphere. The location is very convenient to visit the Risnjak park. The breakfast could be better.
The staff are extremely helpful!! Comfortable rooms... and the restaurant is A class, great food so make sure to have dinner there! Breakfast, wifi and parking are all an included bonus!
24 h reception and a decent breakfast was the good sides of this hotel. The hotel is situated next to the sea close to a huge bridge but is a bit difficult to find. This hotel is a poor surviver from older days back in the 70ies and has not been renovated since. Cats run in and out of the buildings and sadly shit inside... All furniture in our double room was old, the bed had seen better days as well as the sofa, the shower had no hot water in the evening but worked on mornings, the bathtub was very old and a bit damaged.
Good Ubication and a wide selection of services There is not vegetables in breakfast as well as fruit juices. Really old, and bad beds, daily service in the room don't clean it.
Really good price for that accomodation, the breakfast and the dinner is also good. The view from the restaurant is perfect. Hard to park the car and a few room need some correction, but they were clean. The furnitures are simple and old. The view fro the room is nice.
Sea view, location of the hotel. Although the reservation was quoted in euros, upon leaving we were presented an invoice in kuna (Croatian currency) which was 10% higher than it should have. They have all sorts of commisions and weird exchange rates (for instance if paid in cash the euro-kuna rate was 7.19 but by card was 7.25). We had to be pretty firm and did not want to pay anything but euros, the exact amount.
nice weather - but nothing to do with the hotel itself............ Arrogant staff (male) with very poor English just repeating a few words when talking about the claim. He refused to call his boss and even to let us know his name. Still repeating "why?" Old fashioned accommodation - maybe nice 20 years ago
Location is convenient if you are looking for a good view , silence and swimming Very old furnitures but very reasonable price.Cleaning is not so good. If you dont have any luxery expectation but just silence , sea, sun.. its ok.
The view from the balcony, the nearby sea with gulls and fishing boats - and the silence The staff could be a little bit friendlier
Location Old, poor staff and not secure
The location, the staff is friendly and polite, the breakfast, the view from the hotel, the price. only the blankets were dusty.
Good location, nice view, friendly staff. The hotel needs renovation - clean rooms but old and overused furniture.
The room was unusually spacious, everything new and modern including the bathroom, all very clean. We arrived late at night and could still check in. Had a nice and filling breakfast downstairs in the cafeteria for 35 HRK extra. Staff spoke English.
nice, new hotel, located at Tiffon Gas Station directly on highway A6
The hotel is on the highway, at the Ravna Gora rest area, and thus ideal for a stop-over on a long trip. The building is new and the rooms are simple and clean. The hotel info incorrectly gives the GPS coordinates in the village of Ravna Gora - ignore those coordinates and do not get off at the Ravna Gora exit (if coming from Rijeka)
Hotel Ravna Gora was met our needs perfectly! The hotel is right off of the highway, so you do not even need to pay the toll to exit. The room was incredibly clean and had a simple but pleasant design. This hotel is perfect for a quick stop while traveling.
Nothing much, except staff was frendly This is not a hotel. Maybe it has only one star but im not sure about that. It is old, dirty and has one bathroom for all rooms, etc...
Owners were very pleasant and friendly. Value for money was not good. Quite expensive for a shared bathroom and fairly basic facilities.
They stayed open until midnight because we were arriving late. The local village was very pretty. The rooms were very small with only a split sofa bed, top to tail, in one (booked as a double); shared bathrooms; old and dingy staircase; more of a hostel than a guesthouse. Continental breakfast was a bit limited consisting of a few slices of bread and some pats of butter and jam. The hostel is unfortunately located next to a noisy saw mill with train track.
Amiable hosts, Pleasent location - village 1km - 15 min. walk, Good authentic local food, Rustic building ( though seen better days! ) The rooms we stayed in were nothing like the ones shown on their web page. They resemble small boarding school dormatories. In fact our requested 'Double' was in fact two bunk beds, laid end-to-end. To be fair, we did see inside some vacated rooms and these were much bigger family sized rooms. Also the toilet and shower were shared with the whole floor and were no better than campsite standard.
Location helpfull staff Water was turned off untill 7am
very expensive for what it has to offer
Friendly service. There's a nice, but basic, kids play area in the front. It's a chalet-type quiet village. Staff were accommodating. Advert said free wifi but there wasn't any internet service. We booked a non-smoking room, but there were staff smoking in an office room across the hallway.
The hospitality was wonderful and so was the food. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Liked the rustic decor and homely feel to the hotel. Our bedrooms were rather small and beds not that comfortable.
very good dinner, nice people (especially the cook) rooms should have been cleaner, but for that money (34 Euro/night) totally acceptable
the food the bed
