Very helpful staff. Easy access to Split by bus.
A quite picturesque place. Awesome views. Convenient location to local bus connections and day excursions. Transfers to bus and airport easily arranged at a price, money well spent as could be a little difficult to find on you own and the family were flexible for pickups/drop offs. Yes the steps are steep but totally worth it. Loved our 13 day stay. Hosts fluent in several languages. The hot water sometimes took a little while to reach our floor.
Very friendly staff, close to a very nice beach and not far from Dubrovnik. Not easy to find and to reach
The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The place was quiet and very pictoresque.
Very friendly host family. Mlini has one of the nicest beaches arround Dubrovnik (300 m from hotel) and its not far from the Tourist Hot Spot Dubrovnik, but luckely far enough to stay quite in a very helpful and friendly familiy pension. Almost all languages spoken in the family... Problem with the few stairs? ask the family, they will help you with your baggage. The furniture it is a bit old fashioned, but hey, you just sleep there, so it's quite ok.
Its position at the top of hill outside Cavtat centre. The use of communal kitchen. the fact it was cheaper to book direct, 15% added thro Agents
Possibility to make meals by myself. The nice view from the balcony of room. Internet possibilities. We had not any broom for cleaning the room, but staying with children this possibility is very necessary
clean room, location good, Quiet, supermarket nearby, lovely views We thought pickup/drop off service to/from airport was a bit over priced at 100 kuna each way and journey is only about 10mins.Quite a steep hill walk from cavtat. The site gives the impression that there is direct access to a washing machine, however this not the case. there is a laundry service if you want at a price.
We had a fresh, airy room with balcony overlooking the Cavtat bay -- could see lights of Dubrovnik. The Villa is et up for long stays with kitchen, lots of cooking space, pots and pans, dishes; Also refrigerator with bins for each room. Five-minute walk downhill to Cavtat. Easy, cheap access to Dubrovnik by bus with stop across the street. Also will pick up/drop off at airport. English spoken well Need to put soap/shampoo dish in shower.
It was very friendly staff
great location, helpful owners, relaxed atmosphere, good room with nice view, and Spacious Kitchen facilities.
Villa Radovic is near the main road towards Cavtat; even though there is not much traffic noise, since the house is located slightly below the road (on a slope which offers a woderful overlooking of the old town). The city is a 7 minutes downhill walk. The house is very clean (cleaned daily); furnishings is plain but adequate. The owners are very nice, helpful, and decent. I highly recommend it!
The relaxed environment, the good location, the free internet connection, and the opportunity to meet other people, as the kitchen was shared.
Service and friendlyness of staff
Very clean and superb location. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Food in restaurant is excellent - best in Cavtat
Having stayed 3 nights, we thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and it's location. The family made us feel very welcome and went out of their way to help us. Food was good, breakfast was filling and covered all our tastes. Rooms were great; the air conditioning worked well and our kids had lovely private balconies attached to their rooms. Five minutes easy walk to the beach for great snorkelling, diving and jumping from rocks and crystal clear water. Within one minute of the hotel entrance was the mini-market, post office, pharmacy and ATM. Fantastic sunset walk and several other beaches if you got bored. Everyone spoke English whilst we had problems getting the hang of the very basic words in Croatian. We would love to go back again. Great beds. It didn't bother us but there stairs and no lift so not for those who find stairs difficult. There was a very low level noise that we could hear one morning when we'd woken up to leave but it hadn't disturbed us or woken us up before and our room was right at the front on the first floor.
the very friendly staff and we got what we asked for. sea view with balcony
Extremely clean and comfortable At night noise level very high
We loved the city of Cavtat, it has a kind of old fashioned charm and so has the hotel. excellent breakfast as well. the only thing we missed was a (private) balcony. parking was rather expensive
Absolutely fabulous friendly and helpful staff. You could not wish for a better location in the town, its within walking distance to everywhere. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Everything about this hotel is what one would hope for. Extremely helpful and friendly staff and management. I would highly recommend it.
one of the best hotel I´v stayed at(and I travel all over Europe 150 days/year)perfect service from the hotel staff, very comfortable room, excellent breakfast and very well located in the beautiful town Cavtat-HR
friendliness lack of facilities
Restraunt staff went out of their way to impress, were able to settle the bill the night before and organise airport taxi, they included a take away breakfast as we were leaving, well above and beyond expected! The double superior room was 2 beds pushed together and a wodden frame seperating my partner and I. However they did say that they did have propper double beds available if we had asked.
Everything seemed to have been done with TLC and the staff in particular the husband and wife managers and Ivana, were particulary friendly, helpful and accommodating.
Friendly staff. Very nice breakfast especially as there was only my husband and self staying at the hotel. Free use of internet. Very small garden area to relax or sunbathe. Hotels in the area offered greater facilities including a evening meal for little more than the cost of bed and breakfast at this small hotel. The small plunge pool had been drained which didnt matter to us as it was late October and not warm enough. Hower could be in the peak season. Some of the towels were very worn.
The staff were extremely helpful in all aspects of our stay and the transfer to the airpot was excellent. The room was on the ground floor and quite dark. The windows also need mosquito covers on them as our bathroom was filled with flies when we first got to the room and we had to ask reception for some Raid so we could kill them. We then had to keep all the windows shut,
nice location good breakfast
it is very near of the airport.
Friendly and helpful staff. Good central location, though up a steep hill from Cavtat, bus stop outside if find hill a problem. Lovely views of sea and mountains. Quiet location, some aircraft noise but not a problem. Lovely breakfast.
All the above
Friendliness of staff, and being picked up from airport.
Staff were very friendly and the views were stunning, having breakfast amongst the fruit trees was lovely. Very handy location and airport shuttle was very convenient.
It was close to the bus stop to get to Dubrovnik. Our room was not particularly clean on arrival and was not cleaned in the 3 days we stayed there - even the bins were not emptied. The room where we had beakfast looked like the front part of a shop and had no windows, just pull down shutters. There was building work going on in the next room too. It was the most unwelcoming dining room imaginable! Also, in the description of the hotel it said it was in a quiet part of town. It is actually right on the main road into Cavtat and was very noisy. It is acout a 10 minute walk into the main town and coming back it is all up a very steep hill!
Very helpful staff. Spacious apartment perfectly suitable for self catering.
Friendliness of the owner and his help in arranging transport and allowing bag storage. No
The apartment is an excellent location, only 5 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes walk to the centre of Cavtat. The owner took us to the airport the next day at no extra charge. A little bit of aircraft noise but nothing that really bothered us
Was very nice breakfast. Very good owner and his family!
Location was very good only 6 minutes from the airport
The owners were very helpfull and also provide a lift back to the airport. The dining room was a converted garage without windows, just metal shutters and an up and over door. Cleanliness of the rooms could certainly be improved.
Some of the available facilities: internet, access to a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning. Position closed to dbv Airport, thus being the main reason for us to book. Our room (no.1) was very noisy, facing the main road to Cavtat (vs." beautifully set in quiet and relaxing lush surroundings"); very small and without chairs, desk, space for luggage, etc (vs. "offering completely furnished and equipped rooms"), outdated bathroom (vs. pictures on the booking.com); breakfast not included in rate (vs. "Start your day with a good complimentary breakfast"), in short....deceiving!!! (Quotes are from booking.com)
The owners were very welcoming and helpful, the room was big and had a fridge, free WIFI and a balcony, all of which are important to us. It was a 10-15 min walk to the lovely waterfront and town centre and the property is only a 10 minute drive to the airport. We had a very early departure so didn't experience breakfast but it was a good place to rest up before a flight. There was a supermarket close by too (2 min walk) which was very handy. Would recommmend this guest house to anyone and thought it was excellent value for money. No
bad coffee during breakfast!
close to the airport rooms were too hot need air conditioning added. Swimming pool was dirty.
Big clean room, nice view. No air conditioning, not enough kitchen appliances (no coffe filter, no microwave, no Teflon cooking pan)
The grounds, pool and beaches were excellent. We enjoyed the food in the taverna. Air conditioning in the rooms would have been preferable.
No airconditioning and expensive for one night
the views from the balcony were astounding + their private beach was very clean it's a long walk uphill to reach public transport
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the atmosphere was grt. The breakfast was fantastic we realy enjoyed it. The Hotel is scrupulously clean. And the owner was kindness itself. We would like to go back, unfortunately the roads put us off. Also the 144 steps down to the front were bad for my husband as he is on sticks. Still we made it and enjoyed it. Carol and Alan Riddoch..
Beautiful rooms and views with an execeptional breakfast menu No
We liked the comfortable rooms, nice layout and extremely clean.Excellent hospitality. We enjoyed lovely breakfasts on the terrace. The only downside was the building work nearby, but this didn't pose a major problem.
Rooms were cleaned every day to a high standard and decorated to a modern and fresh feel. Language barrier a little problematic and landlady a little regimental. Sometimes also ran out of certain items at breakfast. Hotel at top of a steep hill with lots of steps from the harbour and then a little way on a quite busy bend of road with no path. Although we knew about the hill, this it was quite harrowing in hot weather and definitely not suitable for people with walking problems.
There was a very friendly atmosphere and the breakfasts were very good and varied. The hotel and rooms were spotlessly clean. When I was booking I would have liked the option of having a room with a balcony
The hotel was very well situated for the centre of Cavtat. It was fantastic value for money compared to the other hotels there. Standards of cleanliness were extremely good and the room was air conditioned. Plenty of choice for breakfast and was cooked fresh. Would not recommend for families with young children or elderly as it is a very very steep climb up the hill from the centre of Cavtat to the hotel.
Clean rooms. Cavtat was a pleasant surprise - really nice town. Friendly staff. Owner didn't speak any English. Unable to pay with credit card at the end of the holiday. Breakfast lots of things on offer but not presented very well.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The owner went out of her way to make us feel welcome. She was both friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were excellent served on a flower decked balcony overlooking the Adriatic. The bedrooms were spotless and very comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities and a very welcome fridge where chilled water and drinks were supplied daily. The air-conditioning was very effective. The position, may be a problem for some people as you had to climb a steep hill to reach it ! There was, however, a bus every half hour from Cavtat which would have taken you up the hill.
I was not impressed. The bathroom had a strong cesspool smell and there was no hot water Misrepresented on your web page
The Guest House was comfortable and well situated and the welcome was friendly despite language limitations. The breakfast was excellent. The Guest House was perfectly adequate for our requirements.
Beautiful, clean, and well appointed new hotel. Staff is great And it is right in the beach. It is a little confusing to get to if you are driving. Parking is at Hotel Asteria, with a walk to get to this hotel. You can drive to the luggage drop off via the beech front road, but we had a little trouble getting this explanation from the staff.
staff friendly room clean and nice
Everything. The staff very nice, the great location, the seaview, the calm, the swimming pool and the french speaking receptionist. Very good.
the pool and the hotel room
the pool, and the beach the price is not responding of the quality, there is no air-condition, poor breakfast, they charging for umbrella and chair on the pool
This hotel is by the sea, very nice scenery very steep steps down to beach, would not suit elderly
The location is wonderful, the atmosphere very friendly, the visitors nice and cultural. The nature around is fantastic, the sea ideal. A lot of good restorants around. The level of computer and comunicasional services is very low.
Location Why do they take the passports at check in?
The setting and location of the hotel is idyllic however the hotel staff and services were far from idyllic. The total lack of basic customer service and hospitality permeated the hotel. The bar staff were more interested in clearing the shelves and getting home than providing a bar service to guests. The reception staff were not interested in customer concerns and had a real 'we know it all' attitude'. The policy of retaining passports for 24 hours is incomprehensible and inconsistent with the policies of other hotels in the cavtat area. The access to the hotel in the evenings from the beach area is not well lit and poses potential health and safety risks to guests.
we found close to cavtat and good restaurants and also transport to other areas.
The biggest attractions about the hotel were the fact that it is right beside a nice beach, the location to Cavtat (10 mins walk) and the taxi boat directly beside the hotel to bring you to Dubrovnik. It is a very big hotel and primarily caters for families and people of an older age.
The food was excellent and the dining area outside lovely. Staff very pleasant and entertainers tried very hard.
only the location The room was uncomfortable, never renewed and very small, the same was the shower in which there was a curtain instead of a door. The breakfast time was supposed to be till 10:00 am but already at 9:50 food was taken back to the kitchen. The TVs screen was less than 10 incn - the smallest we ever saw. We paid an additional amount for the sea view and the total price for 2 days was EUR 258! It was a lot of money and a big disappointment.
We liked the option of an "all inclusive" plan which included all meals and drinks throughout the day/evening.
