Västergård Bed & Breakfast is situated on Nagu island. It provides Finnish cuisine, a large garden and organised bike tours. Canoes and bikes are available for rent on site. The individually decorated guest rooms are located in a separate, ecologically renovated building. All have a bathroom with shower, and some include a kitchenette and a flat-screen TV. The in-house restaurant serves Finnish cuisine for breakfast. In summer, guests can grill in the garden. Västergård’s TV lounge offers free WiFi, a kitchenette and books and magazines. Bookable facilities include a wood-heated sauna and an outdoor hot tub. The hotel also has a small private jetty, and a rowing boat can be borrowed for free. Guests can hire bicycles and kayaks. The B&B is less than 10 minutes’ walk from a beach. Turku is an 80-minute ferry and car ride away.
Pros: Relaxedness, cleanliness, friendly hosts, great breakfast and the playhouse outside for kids! Feels like ‘cottage’, but with the luxury of a hotel. Warmly recommended for families with young kids!
Cons: We liked everything a lot!
Pros: Our room was extremely spacious, with wonderful views out onto pristine countryside, and a comfortable sofa and sitting area. The three rooms in the barn conversion are set around a central shared living area and kitchen (where an excellent breakfast is prepared by Tom and his partner). We not only enjoyed our own space, but also meeting the other guests. There is peace and quiet in abundance, but optional sociability was also very enjoyable. We also really appreciated the ability to cook and barbecue our own simple meal, plus the space in the refrigerator to store drinks and snacks (although Tom is well prepared with beer and wine to purchase, and at very reasonable prices). It was great to talk with Tom and his partner, who gave us many great recommendations for restaurants, bike trips and other itineraries. Many other islands are within easy reach by bike or car, there are small ferry ports all over the place! We only managed to squeeze in one sauna, but it was wonderful. The sauna is heated by a wood burning stove, very authentic and Fins will tell you this is the best! The surrounding area on Nauvo island is stunningly beautiful, and there are many quiet roads for relaxed cycling, walking or driving. The multitude of wildlife, birds and wild flowers is quite wonderful in June. Off-season, the nearest restaurants are in Nauvo town which is an easy 40 min cycle or 10 min drive. The cycle ride is perfect to build the appetite and then aid the digestion after! All in all, this is an idyllic place, and we really hope to come back.
Cons: Blackout curtains would be a welcome addition. The curtains are made of light material and light in colour, so they don't keep out much light. Three weeks before midsummer, it was already a bit difficult to sleep as it never really gets fully dark. Bicycle rental fees (€25 per bike per day) added a surprising amount to our bill. That said, the bikes are comfortable touring models with 24 gears and good brakes.
Pros: We stayed for a night while bicycling around the archipelago. The B&B is really lovely - the room was spacious and comfortable, the breakfast was lovely, they had a big storage room for the bikes, it was a short walk to the lake, and the owner was very friendly. Overall, an excellent place to rest.
Cons: It's probably best suited for people with cars, or people who are spending at least 2-3 days as part of a longer cycling trip, because it's quite far from the Nagu town center and there is no shop/restaurant facility aside from the breakfast. Thankfully we had our own food with us, because we didn't have the energy to face the cycle to town after already cycling all day. The secluded location is very calm and relaxing but not very convenient.
Pros: We were able to rent bicycles. Great breakfast, sauna heated with wood!
Pros: The superior twin room is a very large room that had ample space for our family of 4 with 2 teens. It included a well stocked kitchenette & living area, & a private sauna and bathroom area downstairs from the main area. The breakfast was excellent, the hosts Tom & Erma very helpful. The area is very peaceful & beautiful. We were very happy with this beautiful bed & breakfast.
Cons: Just a note, there are 2 heater pipes along the floor and the bed is directly next to the common lounge which did keep us up a bit at night. If you have mobility issues or small children, I would pick another room due to the pipes & staircase.
Pros: Clean comfortable place in Finland archipelago. Off season, we were the only guests. Especially enjoyed private wood sauna. (20 Euros for 2) Nice people. Good breakfast.
Cons: It rained 1 day

Pros: Staying in this hotel has been an unique experience for me. Concretely speaking the rooms are really nice, the food is great (local and fresh food with home made recipe) and the staff really really friendly. Above all the calmness of the place, the stroll in the woods and the view of the sea are worth it ! I would recommend it ten thousand times !
Pros: Amazing food! Super friendly staff and nice room.
Pros: Excellent dinner and breakfast Friendly staff The rooms are full of light and cozy Nearby ”bare foot” path is a must! Friendly staff
Cons: The sauna/shower area could need some renovation
Pros: Very idyllic location, nice walk to Nestor‘s Beach, very friendly staff
Pros: Incredibly charming and welcoming secluded place...
Pros: The area was nice, restaurant looked nice and food was good, room interior was comfortable. Gluten free diet was taken into account even though there were some small mix-ups but those were compensated.
Cons: There could have been the air conditioning a bit better because the air was rather stuffy inside if Windows we're not open. There could be additionally in the room handtowels, hangers for towels in the bathroom, glasses for drinking, the breakfast could be have a bit more variety and gluten free options better. For some reason the water run out at some point while being in shower.
Pros: Exceptional service and outstanding experience of staying at Nestor! We were the only guests at the hotel last weekend and William made our stay really special.
Pros: Great breakfast. Comfortable room.
Cons: Noisy room. You hear the restaurant under the room as well as people's voices through ventilation hole. You also hear window slamming all night.

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff
Cons: The shower was poorly designed and as a result a lake forms on the bathroom floor
Pros: Very cosy room, wonderful position, good breakfast also with typical food. A little good restaurant with few choices but very refined and tasty.
Pros: The b&b had a lovely garden and the food was excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Pros: Very friendly staff. Nice room and good breakfast.
Cons: We were on the ground floor and could hear quite a bit of noise from the room above - especially toilet flushing and showers.
Pros: Clean and nicely furnished room. Basically, a nice and new accommodation.
Cons: Compared to other B&Bs in Finland we have been to, the price-performance-ratio was not really good. The accommodation is relatively expensive and the overall service is ok. Nice host but not very motivated / supportive. Basic breakfast. We can't assess the restaurant since it was unfortunately closed during our stay.
Pros: Very close to the sea. Good starting point for walking along the beach and in the forest. Very quiet clean and good breakfast

Pros: A very good family hotel, nice atmosphere and lovely staff. The restaurant was excellent for dinner and breakfast
Cons: The beds weren’t so comfortable
Pros: Friendly staff, good dark bread at breakfast, silence environment around the hotel, unique restaurant area. A traditional style of Finnish sauna
Cons: Breakfast was very simple, few slices of cheese and ham, tomato, cucumber, boiled eggs (a bit warm) and cold porridge. Breakfast can be better. The restaurant was closed due privet booking (not informed for an advance at booking time). A very small tv on the wall ( 24" ?)
Pros: The setting is incredibly beautiful - it is pastoral. The hotel is a converted barn, which is really lovely. If you enjoy nature and the outdoors, it is excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful too. You need to schedule your sauna in advance, but it was well worth it - and then a quick walk through some nature to the beach for a post-sauna dip in the lake. What could be better! :)
Cons: I think they were just training their summer staff so maybe that was the reason the room cleaning was not as thorough as it might have been, but the staff were so nice and helpful that it really didn't make a difference.
Pros: The owner was very friendly and showed us some unique points from where to get an excellent view of the Archipelago.
Pros: Beautiful renovated cow house, lovely owner who even brought his own bbq for us from his home. Lovely area, family friendly, quiet.
Pros: Beautiful building in nice atmospheric surroundings with a nice little private beach. Super friendly staff.

Pros: Clean and quiet. Easy access with public transport
Cons: WiFi conexión a little bit low.
Pros: A lovely B&B/guesthouse in a great location, particularly if you want to get the ferry to Sjalo (which you should!), as it's literally 2 minutes away from the ferry port. It's a nice, cosy building and rooms are very comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic! I requested a vegan breakfast and the chef and owner was happy to make something different for me, which was delicious. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, giving me advice on my trip and letting me check in early as I arrived before my check-in time. Absolutely recommended.
Pros: We love spending short period of time in Nauvo every summer. The town is gorgeous. Hotel Lanterna has been place to stay for several years as they have friendly and welcoming staff. Has pet's allowed policy as we travel with dog and are located in the heart of Nauvo.
Cons: All good.
Pros: Good location and breakfast in addition to the cozy single room. It is only a short walk from the Nagu bus station. Able to leave your baggage before the check in.
Pros: Beautiful old wooden house right in the centre of Nauvo. Cozy and clean. Friendly staff (they gave us some nice tips what to visit in the Archipelago). Tasty and big breakfast.
Cons: The room was a bit darker because the window was quite small. Also, we requested double bed but we got room with twin beds.
Conveniently situated by Nagu Marina, Hotel Strandbo is an excellent base for travellers to the scenic Turku Archipelago Trail. It offers free Wi-Fi and free parking. All guest rooms at Strandbo Hotel have a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer. Some rooms feature a private balcony. The in-house restaurant serves brunch and á la carte during summer. A buffet breakfast is served every morning. Relaxation options include a terrace. Guests can also book the 2 on-site saunas. Several ferries to islands in the archipelago leave from the marina. A child-friendly beach is located 200 metres from the hotel. During summer, a 24-hour petrol station is operated at the marina.
Pros: The location is really good, just the opposite of the ferry arriving from Aasluoto. The staff was very nice, and our hotel room was cute but good. Breakfast was good, but make sure to go there early enough since they run out of food towards the end!
Cons: For the price of the stay, I would have expected more - e.g. the use of sauna, a superb breakfast, or airconditioning. At breakfast, you got the feeling the staff really wanted the breakfast to end. We came down for breakfast at 9:20 (breakfast until 10) and were able to get everything we wanted. However, at 9:30 the croissants had ran out and I heard many people ask for them from the staff, who always promised to bring them, but nothing happened. At 9:45 I overheard the staff telling there were no more coming, but in the end 5 minutes before closing some appeared after all. Also, the staff started to collect food away from the buffet already at 9:50 - which wasn't nice, since it was supposed to last until 10. For example yogurt and muesli were taken out at that time, although there were plenty left.
Cons: That booking dot com spams me
Pros: Location fantastic Food amazing and wonderful staff super helpful.
Pros: The location was perfect!
Cons: Aircondition would have been a big plus.
Pros: Location was excellent in the centre of town.
Cons: Mold in the bathroom. I am allergic to mold so had to take antihistamines to stop the irritation.
Pros: Lovely building, helpful staff
Pros: Good location in front of the ferry to Seilo and the beach.
Cons: No lift to the upper level. Very bad wifi reception from room 20 (2 buildings behind front desk in the main building) Poor amenities: no tea/coffee service in the room, minibar/minifridge or shampoo (there was body and hand soap). Basic buffet breakfast (with a really bad coffee)
Pros: If you are travelling to Turku Archipelago and want to stay in a small town, then Nagu (Nauvo) is the perfect location. The hotel is directly at port and next to some restaurants. The room was cozy and with private bathroom. Really loved eating breakfast at the porch of the hotel main house :) Recommend to stay there!
