Pros: The cheese soup was very good, and it is a cozy family place. Very unique and Viking-like.
Cons: There were some problems with WIFI, hot water, electricity and a smoke alarm that made sounds because there was no battery in. As the personnel did not act on my information, I disconnected it myself in order to sleep.
Pros: Quite nice Viking atmosphere. We really liked the authentic wooden place and the pine tree smell in the hut. We slept good so we cannot agree that the mattress is too thin. The location is easy to find and very close to Tallinn Airport (20min by car) and Tallinn city centre (25-30min). The next big supermarket is in Jüri (10min). The food in the restaurant is good, the menu is quite small but everybody should find something. But we decided to eat there only one evening. I cannot judge the breakfast as we did not try it.
Cons: The check in was very unfriendly and took quite long as we had to wait for 10 min until somebody who is speaking English could help us. I was very surprised that we did not get any explanation about the village or the concept. No information about their programme or if we are interested in something. Nothing. So we just slept there and did not check the Viking activities they offer (or not / we do not know). The place is quite nice but not in the best condition (broken windows, grass needs to be trimmed, no wood for the fire place, not really clean, small towels, no extra towel for the sauna, etc). Btw: Please note that you have to pay extra for using the sauna, we did not know that. And the outside water place which is mentioned is not in use. We were upset about all the small things which normally makes you happy. The easiest thing they can improve immediately: just smile and be friendly please!
Pros: Best salmon ever tasted. Super place.
Cons: GPS getting there- Google.
Pros: This was my first experience in such accommodation. We enjoyed to live in woods. All the basic facilities were provided. I was using the surroundings for running.
Cons: Some facilities were broken, for example, the sink was leaking (I fixed it with a bubble gum), the door locker was broken from inside (I fixed it), the smoke alarm was beeping (I suppose the battery was off), the outside light was not working. I was not complaining as it fitted in the style (you have to know how to fix facilities in medieval times). We were expecting to have some public sauna available, but it was not. From the photos we got a wrong impression that we are going to have all house available for us - but it was only the 2nd floor we had for us. And finally - it would be much better to have this village in some place further away from the motor way. It is easy to reach but I would love to have it deeper in woods. I was running in woods and there are plenty of place where to have this village away from the motor way. I hated to hear the noise coming from cars passing by. Bird songs would be much better. I recommend to relocate the village some 10 km deeper in woods.
Pros: Wow! A lot of work has gone into making this place feel authenic as well as great fun. We will definitely return here when we have more time to play and explore. It was perfect for our dog too as it's very animal friendly - big fluffy cats by the fireplace in the 'inn' and very tame rabbits in the gardens. A perfect place for families to enjoy being together, that has all modern conveniences.
Cons: We had booked the classic suite so were really looking forward to pampering ourselves after much travelling. When we arrived, however, we were told that it had been double booked so we would have to be the ones to take another room. This was a bit of a let down, though the room we were given was also great.
Pros: If you like nature and wood, you like this unique dog friendly place. Would be great for children too. Propably the best sauna in the world!
Cons: Pillows were very fat
Pros: Great location and felt a world away from 'real life' even with the motorway just the otherside of the forest. The amount of work that must have gone into this place is unreal, loved seeing all the craftsmenship! Unfortunatly weren't there for long enough to watch or take part in any activities but did go for a walk around the site and seemed like any events would be a lot of fun! Food in the restaurant was great also; typical Estonian/Baltic fare but well done for a good price.
Cons: Wifi not widespread but didn't matter for me personally, bathroom door did not lock, seems the lock just needs a little fix. Shower flow was very low also.
Pros: If you want to get away from your everyday boring hotels/motels this is a fun place! Staff was very friendly and helpful Now ce grounds, lots to see and discover Excellent atmosphere , great restaurant
Pros: Lovely country setting but still well signposted from the main road.
Cons: They need to warn guests that mosquito repellent is essential in such a setting especially as the cabins are in a densely wooded area.
Pros: The closeness by the river . And the name
Cons: The cabins are very old, the mattresses on the bed are ultra thin. Some of The staff do not seem to recognise the booked time frame
With a stay at Üksik Rüütel in Kurna, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Lake Ulemiste and Ulemiste City. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Nice location, good breakfast.
Pros: Breakfast was nice
Cons: The room wasn't well prepared. The towels were missing and bathroom was wet.
Pros: Nice breakfast, clean rooms. Free parking.
Cons: It would be nice if we would be informed about the prices for pets.
Pros: The location is quite nice, close to the highway and there is a park nearby. The receptionist was very friendly. The bathroom has floor heating, there is a kettle in the room.
Cons: The rooms lack sound isolation, you can hear every noise outside the room and also the neighbors. Breakfast selection is quite poor and not restocked, so late birds will be lucky to get an egg with a toast at best. The bathroom sink is tiny and mounted close to the wall, very inconvenient to use. The room smelled of cheap soap.
Pros: Everything was ok. Big parking place.
Cons: Breakfast is too late.
Pros: Breakfast was good and the location fit for our purposes.
Cons: There was a bit gold in hotel, because the weather was gold.
Pros: Hotel has a great potential. It's a nice place, very cool building and decorations on the first floor, good location for those on the road. Staff is kind. As we had to wait for the room being prepared, we were kindly offered to have a cup of tea or coffee in their restaurant.
Cons: Maybe they just had a bad day. We arrived arround 6PM and still had to wait until room was cleaned. Room was freezing cold without any possibility of heating except bathroom floor. Door at the end of the corridor near to our room was open when we arrived. Probably, due to ongoing cleaning. We closed it at 2AM when returned from a venue in Tallinn. It was windy and +8C outside, a bit more inside. We were party of 4, but only 1 key to the room was available, which was a bit uncomfortable as we had different plans for the night. At some point shortly after our arrival we needed help from a reception, nobody available on the web either. We asked for a crib, but unfortunately the only one they had was already given to somebody else. So if you need one, make sure to order when book a room! Shower had no cabin and nothing to gather water on the floor, which left whole bathroom wet until we left. Also Google maps doesn't know of the road that leads to hotel from a highway - I do not blame hotel for this though. Well, maybe just a little.
Pros: The staff was quite nice. Breakfast was decent.
Cons: The room was not yet ready when we arrived, the replacing room that we got wasn't either. It is right by the highway so there is a lot of noise. Also our room was above a machine (refrigerator or boiler or extractor hood) so there was a constant humming. The walls were so thin that we could hear the snoring of our neighbor.
Pros: The staff was just excellent

Pros: To me and my friends - the hotel is perfect. Its very quiet - and the owner tries everything to make our stay as nice as possible.
Cons: They shoul have more rooms with baths.
Pros: An old mansion under renovation. We received a professional story from the manor built and up to the present by now-present owners. We were also allowed to go downhill in the basement range and even up to the top floor. Nice hiking areas. We had to decide ourselves when we wanted breakfast. We also saw storks here.
Cons: After our walking tour there was nothing to complain about. The hotel is under renovation and much new is under way.
Pros: room - nice design, all in green colours
Pros: Really nice and cheap place. Not much staff - but they are very friendly and try to do everything for you ;-)
Cons: Seems a bit old and worn - but is going through a big renovation at this time.
Pros: Well located for walking in the forests
Cons: No toilets or showers M/W. Only 02 showers for +/- 30 people Too noisy, you hear your neighbours speaking Price is too high for a low quality, BUT...they are a lot of works in progress to improve the accomodation, let's hope for the future
Pros: Nice park
Cons: The manor has been renovated and is not as charming as the photos. Only two bathroom and showers and you have to walk an absurd long way through the building to reach them.
Pros: Great service, fixing breakfast and dinner outside their official open hours!
Cons: The shared shower is in a dark place :D
Cons: Expensive 10€ breakfast to get the last trace of eggs from other tables Only 1wc + 1 shower (no sink) for 20 guests
Pros: + cozy terrace + sleeps good (bed, pillow and blanket are really nice) + quiet
Cons: - The price is a bit too high. - Due to old building, showers are located down in the basement. - You have one key to enter the bulding, so you need to stay with your roommates.
