they havent internet
more or less it was normal hotel. Breakfast - is you come too late there can be less choice of food. If the neighborhoods make a noise you will definitely hear it.
Good range of choice for breakfast, room cleaned each day, and reception staff were friendly. Chercking in and out was efficient and well-organised.
Yes it is a bit out of town and in a working class suburb but is is quiet unlike central Prague hotels and a #9 tram takes you straight into the sights...Hotel restaurant is excellent...Staff very helpful
We will never ever stay in this hotel again.female receptionist was rude, recomended expensive hotel taxi not only to us but to others as well and when we checked out she told us we couldnt use internet anymore, because we were told we are not hotel guests anymore.
Big clean room. Nice pizzeria just round the corner (not in the hotel). Needs renovation. Wasn't exactly a 3 star hotel.
Good staff Lack of parking for car. In this pleace a parking very difficult.
The service was very good. the Location and no air conditioning.
problem with parking places
Hotel staff, services, prices Social status of quarter, location
the location, the staff, the athmosphere, for a city trip its a perfect place to stay internet in the rooms is missing
Awesome place, while a hostel, was nicer than many hotels I have stayed at. Everything was great.
Friendly staff and ability to meet people in comfortable setting
reception staff very helpful. Showers excellent. Minimal noise. very clean. close to public transport just outside the city centre but tram stops right outside and runs 24 hrs a day
Very friendly staff, helpful, great with city info and sight seeing suggestions, very clean, nice atmosphere, fun bar, relaxing atmosphere
nicely designed rooms, clean, comfortable bed, next to tram station I have not realized that I was booking a hostel, therefore I was really missing TV, wi-fi in a room, free soap, wake-up call, extra towels (we only had 1 per person). I was in town for business so this was a bit of disappointment. However, I will sure stay there again on my private visits to Prague
We had a perfect stay at the Czech Inn. The hotel has a beautiful interior, wonderful double rooms with very modern, minimalistic furniture, nice staff, nice, relaxed atmosphere generally. The breakfast is healthy and for my opinion satisfactory. However it is a little overpriced for Praha (5,00 EUR)
The breakfast was outstanding and the best way to start a travel day. We didn't have to eat again until 2pm! The staff was very helpful and were able to help us with anything from restaurant recommendations to metro tickets (really convenient). Lovely, spacious rooms for couples.
Modern hotel. Very clean. Restaurant has exellent food. The rock crushing facility oposite the hotel is producing a lot of noise (from 08:00 to 18:00).
Great location, unique, nice style and colours of the room, double bed, great shower, helpful people at the reception, nice pub with a great choice of beer at reasonable price We were missing small pillows and hand-towels, the trafic noise was a bit disturbing in the night, and the elevator worked in a strange way
Very center of the city. Good breackfast. Nice view to the center of the city from my studiou room. Kitchen very useful. Everything OK.
Perfect location to get out and about.
It was a good shock to find out the location of the hotel is truly right in the middle of the famous Karlova street right between the Charles Bridge and Old Town. Extremely cosy apartments also proved the promised top notch quality but what really made us speechless was astonishing view from the apartment's windows! Tiles of the roofs, old towers and Prague's main castle - it's all was there and it was unbelievably great! Room service was prefect also. highly recommended! Everything was just perfect and flawless!
the location was great, and the design of the apartment was intresting. cable intrenet was kind of disadventage
The hotel staff was more than helpful. They were considerate and accomodative to all our requests. The room sizes were large and very spacious. Everything we needed was provided on request if not already there. The elavator is a bit creepy and we were lost when we entered the building since the reception is on the 1st floor and there were no signs to direct us there. But both these points did not interfere with our wonderful stay there.
The front desk was knowledgable, helpful, and likeable, particularly a pretty lady with short brown hair, she kicked off our stay! The whole interior of the hotel had a new age, rave, club, artsy look and feel. Blacked out halls, with white writing lit with black lights, pointed us in the direction of our room, numbered with green LED lights. Our room had a mural painted by a local artist, which is a nice show of appreciation for their city, and kept the fun going. Energized and curious of what else the hotel had to offer, we returned down stairs to find the 360 lounge, we were helped by an enthusiastic bartender with an undercut, brown hair, brown eyes, (the one on the tv's you'll see around the long floor). Usually a hotel takes away from the city you visit, usually a neutral setting that doesn't represent the city at all. Not this hotel. The Fusion was an unexpected experience that added to our over all vacation, keeping us in the high energy that exudes throughout Prague. When we come back, we will be staying here again.
Fantastic hotel one of the best I've stayed in!
The location wasn't bad. It's noisy, and not a lot of amenities.
Location Staff Modern touch of ambiance Divided beds rather than expected single queen mattress Very simplistic room decor
The location was great, right across from a Metro station and market. The rooms were large, and beds comfortable.
Location s it was only a 10 minute walk to the city centre. We did not realise the did not accept Euro at the hotel. We did not have any of their currency so this made it a bit difficult. Also we were quoted in Euro for the hotel rate, but they did not charge in Euro so therefore extra expense was incurred due to credit card charges.
Staff always very helpful nothing
Breakfast is very important for me and it was ok i have claustrofobia and i couldn,t open ten whole window
it is very clean and food is goog the front desk staff Radka and Lucie is rude. I was asking them a question and keep on talking in Czech language and giggling. Ther were not very professionnal when dealing with us.
The location, comfort, prices The hotel staff had little training. They were often too few, and only did their assigned jobs (for example: four people in the reception and no one in the bar) even though it was obvious that they were needed for very easy tasks somewhere else. We often had to wait a very long time in order to order a drink at the bar, talk to someone in the reception (even when they were four behind the counter!) etc.
Heaps of restaurants , pubs, nightclubs. Good fun atmosphere in the area yet it quiets down fairly early. Astoria is an ok hotel - service is friendly . Rooms are basic. Ideal probably for backpackers who don't want a hostel. Location is great. Room safe didn't work (or we couldn't get it to) . Aircon was ineffective but I think that's fairly standard for the area.
The breakfast was wonderful! Made the day start off right!
Breakfast was super, because I was expecting the usual Continental small breakfast i.e. coffee and a croissant. The convenience of the Metro and The Trams was a gem no
good and very clean
The location of the hotel was great, just a short walk from Praha Masarykovo station for the trips out of town that I needed to make. The close proximity of the metro (the hotel was opposite Florenc metro station), two supermarkets on the doorstep and the short walk to the centre of town also made this an ideal location. Apart from this, I liked the clean look of the hotel, friendly staff and the supply of tea/coffee in the room was a nice touch. A minor grumble was the length of wait for check-in (down to a group booking at the hotel for a corporate event). It shouldn't take the gloss out of a very friendly and well run hotel though.
The exercise facility was very nice. Good selection to choose from for exercising. The breakfast, although expensive, was a good selection and tasty. I felt that the hotel was the "bare minimum" when it came to comfort and services. The first day we were there, the towel warmer didn't work nor the plug in the bathroom for the hairdryer. On the plus side, we told the front desk and it was fixed by the next day. Our body wash in the shower was out for 3 days and never got refilled. We finally called downstairs to tell the front desk and she asked if they could just do it the next day. When we told them no, she brought us up a few little bottles to use instead. Heaters were turned up so high the entire time, we had to sleep with our windows open and our controls turned off to be comfortable. AC would not work. We told the front desk and they said they couldn't do anything about it.
The location of the hotel is good. You can walk to the city center in 20-30 minutes( 2 km). But if you like, you can take the tram just in front of the hotel. All the staff were very helpful.
Welcoming from the staff was great, but the next moment ask for stamps for my postcard, she tend to be a bit rude... but they are helpful, helping us to book the city tour, and room service amazingly fast and efficient. They don't refill those coffee and tea bags, we have to call them for it. A bit irritated though.
Very good. Some of the staff were not that friendly.
Mid October chilly outside temperature during my Prague stay look not very promising but each time I entered hotel again cozy atmosphere, friendly staff and nice hoise vibrations make me happy and fell at home. The positive energy of more than 100 years industrial art deco design building, sensitive approach of team converting it to hotel few years ago and finally but most important, the team running the hotel and in-front-of-you staff do the final touch and great pleasure. I don't mind close railway traffic
Everything you need. The location and Hotell is perfekt.
very good location, hotel staff is really friendly and customer oriented.Breakfast is international and really good. I would stay in this hotel if I go gain to Prag no negative comments
This is very comfortable new four-star in a location slightly outside of the main tourist centre but within very easy reach of it. The competitive prices reflect the location and the hotel is very good value. Free garage parking is particularly welcome.
I would reccomend an electric kettle in the bedroom
Nice location - walking distance to everywhere, friendly staff, nice architecturaldesign, comfortable bed, great breakfast The architech was good, but the engineer put in automatic light that would turn on without apparent cause or turn off too quickly.
I very much enjoyed my stay at Hotel Noir. The location is very central and only a few hundred feet away from the nearest Metro stop. The price was also very reasonable as it included a delicious breakfast and a fast Internet connection. The staff was always very friendly and incredibly helpful with all of our requests. Some very minor inconveniences and nothing that should dissaude anyone, but worth noting nonetheless. Like most old buildings in the Czech Republic, there are stairs in some very odd places. Once you walk into the room, you enter a foyer that leads to the bathroom and then there is a narrow set of stairs that leads to the bedroom. The bedroom itself is enormous, but if you are carrying large luggage, be prepared to haul it up a flight of stairs to your room! I also stayed in the top floor of the hotel, so as expected, it got quite warm. However, the air conditioning is more than sufficient to keep you cool once it starts up. Just don't forget to turn it on!
The staff were friendly and helpful The room was not well cleaned and the breakfast was mediocre at best.
Safe included in price. Good central location. Cleaning staff coming into my room before I had gone out.
The service of the bar. I enjoyed so much!
The staff were really friendly, courteous, and helpfull. The facility was very clean, quiet, and the location was great...only ten minutes from Old Town Square (walking) and all other sites were easily within walking distance. As a previous reviewer noted the elevator did break down, but the repair staff were out fixing it the next day. In all, we had a great time visiting Prague and would love to do it again. I guess I am too used to North American standards...there wasn't a kettle in the room so I couldn't make coffee when I felt like it, I had to go to the cafe downstairs or out. Also, there were no face cloths!
Great value for money, free wifi, decent breakfast included.
armchair massage, bathroom dirty kitchen for breakfast, room, dirty towel, smelly and noisy room
excellent location, good sized rooms, value for money Front desk staff could be a bit friendlier - we had to take our own luggage up to luggage room on 2nd floor which also could be a security issue, i.e theft
The location and the price..
Clean and spacious room The hotel staff is not too nice. If you arrive before check-in time, you have to carry your suitcase to some room where all the visitor's suitcases stay. There is no guarantee that you will get your suitcase back as well, because you can choise freely which suitcase you like among these:)
Excellent location, spacious accommodations, accessible, nice views, good value for money. The building has no air conditioning, so we had the windows open. The area was unexpectedly loud, with many bars near by, and people yelling loudly late at night which was a bother.
Hotel is located a few blokcs from the National Theather, walking distance to everywhere, hotel room and bathroom was very spacious, free internet, safe in your room, and buffet breakfast with plenty to eat. The hotel does have a bar service on the grounf floor however there was not a minibar in your room. Also, there was on particular person at the check in desk that not helpful at all, making their customer service rate low.
Very quiet room in section C, also clean and spacious. Excellent buffet breakfast and helpful staff.
Value for money, spacious rooms hotel taxi service overpriced
Staff was nice, water temperature was good, breakfast was good. The distance to subway station is very convenient. Some of the lights were broken. The bed is a tilt up storage bed and doesn't have a mattress, just a sponge. Bathroom wasn't clean. The shower is a stand-up one but lacked elevated place to put soap. The TV is 12inch CRT with bad reception and broken remote.
Nice building, very well maintained, clean and confortable I would suggest verification of drains and bathroom facilities after every chack out.
Value for money; great breakfast, good bathroom, kind staff. Wi-fi quality was poor. Every 5 minutes it disconnected.
A simle, family like, friendly accomodation. Clean rooms. Breakfest satisfies different tastes. Closed to the metro station.
Breakfast and the location was very close to Metro station
Room was big and nice, bathroom also... Location is 20 minutes on foot from city centre, though a bit isolated. Food was good. We had to ask for new towels first day, but afterwards everything was ok.
I asked for a double bed and I received two twins bed one next to the other. But they were really comfortable. Also the bath had a bathtub that not all the 3 stars hotels have. Breakfast was also ok. The TV was quite small but for as much as we stayed in the room that did not count to much.
The room was excellent for it's price range. Breakfast was included which was beneficial as well.
everything was good for that price!
It was great value for money, and easy to reach the city centre by tram.
Nice rooms, clean, new furniture. The hotel was close to the public transport. Breakfast was good as well.
Clean room, bathroom, extremely affordable, great breakfast, friendly staff. The location is slightly not up to the mark (not exactly beautiful or pleasing to the eye). The place is some distance from the town center (5-6 stops by tram) but then the public transport network in prague is excellent and this is usually not a problem.
I liked everything, it is close to two tram lines, so it is very easy to roam the city. The staff is great helps you in anything you need, from moving around or even finding a good movie in a cinema. The rooms are very spacious and clean, the bathroom is great, and the breakfast is really good. There is a little problem and it is that the a metro line runs a bit close to the hotel so in some room, not all, the metro noise will be a bit disturbing, but if you close the windows its almost unnoticeable.
Good rooms with great connections to the city and a very helpful staff. Breakfast was a bit boring, but what can you expect as this price? the trains are too close so you can hear them sweep by once in a while.
It was simply delightful, excellent value for money. Receptionist was a bit unhelpful.
breakfast, good location - close to metro and tram towels, altought clean, had some strange smell; there is no telephone in the rooms
This hotel is near the underground and is very easy to find it. In the morning you can eat everything in its excellent and generous buffet. The rooms are clean everyday by the friendly staff. The tram line is near the hotel and you can hear a bit its noise, but maybe I'm pretty sensitive about the sounds.
It is very quiet place
The reception person is very helpful and the hotel is close to a metro station. Room was not very clean.
Hotel is very close to city center by public transport.
Good location within 10 minutes of the centre of Prague by metro. Also took less than one hour to reach the Airport by metro & bus.
Hotel Pankrac is near Congress centre and metro station. The room is comfortable and safe especially for baby and children. The breakfast is good. The room is clean and cool design.
Near thу metro-station, easy to get to the centre of Prague Poor breakfast, problems with hot water (sometimes it's cold)
The hotel is close to a wheelchair accessible Metro stop. Convenient when traveling with my mother who is in a wheelchair.
laking of refrigirator in room
The room was much larger than I thought it would be. I was travelling alone and it felt luxurious. The breakfast buffet was a little disappointing in that it sometimes did not look appetizing. There was also not a logic in how the buffet was laid out. But it still got the job done of starting my day with some food in me.
Clean, renovated and comfortable and friendly staff Breakfast is nothing to boast about, the staff speak some English but not much
Really Great!!! I was ordered 2 single rooms, but we get 2 doubles + complimentary shampagne for this price!!! Rooms are perfect, one was with 7m balcony! 7 min walk to center. 5 minutes to Underground. Unfortuanlly, we was in Prague just one night, but next time I know where I stay!
I was presented with a complimentary bottle of champagne in my room and instead of standard room they gave me a suite. Nice surprise! Breakfast was dissapointing. Not enough choice and rather medium if not low quality of food. At 9.30, 30min before the breakfast finishes food was all gone and there was nothing much left for those who came down for breakfast late.
Everything. The hotel was lovely and quite at night with no noise disturbance. The food in the restaurant in the evening was excellent. There were nice little touches to the room, including daily fruit and petit fours, and champagne on arrival. Underfloor heating in the bathroom was lovely, as was the double bath and large walk-in shower. All staff were couteous and friendly and went out of their way to help. Breakfast is served 'til 10.30 which allows for a cheeky lie-in. The suite was definetely worth the upgrade. The hotel Mercedes is very convenient and comfortable. It's about a 15-20 minute walk from Wencelslas square, (30 mins from old-town square), but that gave us the chance to walk off some calories and see some 'real' Prague.
This hotel was clean and tidy.
Staff very helpful & friendly. Room spacious and very comfortable. Free mini-bar a welcome bonus and very much appreciated. The organised transport to & from the Airport worth while. Very enjoyable if a little expensive. Is about 15 mins to Wencelaus Square, which was not a problem, as we made good use of public transport (tram). Put a non-slip mat in the bathroom - a small detail, but important to older visitors in particular.
Luxury accomodation at a reasonable price
Comfortable beds, luxurious
Extremely well run hotel, the staff could'nt have been more helpful, it was really quite impressive We had a deluxe room on the 4th floor, it was a little like being in the eves of the hotel and we didn't have a view as such, wondered if we had been put in this room because we had a deal, the hotel certainly not full.
One of the best hotels we've stayed in so far! Excellent service by the hotel staff - very friendly. Great focus on small details that give that little extra. Staff doesn't hesitate to go the 'extra mile'. Would certainly recommend this hotel!
Very helpful staff, complimentary mini-bar and airport transfer (one way). Food in the restaurant was far too salty which ruined the dinner we had, really poor for a 5star hotel. The package included airport transfer by one of the hotel's cars, this was only one way though and they wanted 1000crowns (£40) to take us back, I thought this was a bit of a cheap trick.
location in the quiet place but not far from main attractions of the city
We got married in Prague and the staff of the hotel and the place itself added a lot to the atmosphere of the wedding. It is a very romantic place to stay in, the hotel design is very beautiful, the rooms are amazing, very quiet place and a great view from the rooms. They decorated our room at the day of the wedding and reserved the library of the hotel for our dinner after the wedding, not only reserved but also decorated it and also put fire in the fireplace. They have very tasty and various breakfast. We have some misunderstanding with emails with the hotel staff, and the hotel provided free airport pickup since the misunderstanding was related to it. The minibar is free and provides a good choice of items!! Very very beautiful hotel! The hotel doesn't have free internet access which is very strange and uncomfortable considering the whole experience.
Room very confortable and very clean, good possibilities for parking, excellent location for business. Excellent restaurant. Wellness and fitness area not in the hotel but just in the same building (shopping mall) only on charge.
Clean, nice people, lcd tv, pay tv, good breakfast food, I like this hotel, Big shopping center in hotel, orient food. Parking for 15 euro/night, Pool is in fenix gallery not in hotel, you have to pay 11 euro for one entrance one person for pool. Small standard double room,
The hotel's new and has good location. Food's also good. In information was wriiten that the hotel has swimming pool but when I was there it was closed.
There was a strange noise in the room however it was fixed right away. The room smelled like cigars.
Metro station right under the hotel, clean room, quiet neighborhood, nice breakfast, shopping center ( includes a supermarket ) besides hotel. There was nothing to eat near or in the hotel after 10:30pm.
Equipment, nice new furniture. Poor informations during check-in, small wellness, wellness is free of charge only till 6 p.m., without any information, expensive parking, missing vegetables on breakfast, only slow LAN internet connection is fee of charge, High Speed or Wifi is extra paid.
everyone was helpful & pleasant
location not easy orientation, lack of signs, for example you need 2 different lifts to go from the room to parking, I met several confused guests who needed help where to go
Yes, everything was excelent. The location is lovely, only 6 metro stations from down town, but was very convenient because the metro stations is under hotel, so you don not have to get out and search for it. Also, it was lovely because there is a mall at level 0 and 1 of the same building. The room was perfect, very clean, great bad, great view. The breakfast was fantastic!
The best part is the metro, which is below the hotel, very convenient, perfect location within city limits.
big rooms, good breakfast some people at breakfast were rude
