Very comfortable hotel with a friendly staff, nice rooms and a good breakfast. Easy access to Vienna without the frenetic activity of the city. And the wonderful nearby Klosterneuburg Abbey is a plus. Parking in the small court at the hotel is often impossible, but there is easy free parking at the nearby train station.
The staff were very obliging and the accommodation left nothing to be desired. Excellent location as well.
The staff was terrific! Friendly, helpful, professional, just great. The hotel was impeccably clean, the included breakfast was excellent with fresh fruit and a wide selection of cold and hot choices. The hotel is not somewhere in the country side as I had pictured it in my mind - I don't know why I pictured it that way. It is located in the very center of a busy intersection smack in the middle of town right in front of the bus terminal where you can take the bus that will take you to your Metro connection that will take you into Vienna. Great location, but not in the country. Their own restaurant next door serves excellent food. Not all the rooms are air conditioned and we arrived on a day that was unusually hot and it would have been impossible to sleep without a/C. We had asked for a/c rooms but were told that only one of the two had a/C. At our request the front desk lady immediately found an adjacent room with air and we were very happy she did it without any fuss or hesitation.
This hotel, in a tastefully restored medieval townhouse, is one of the best my wife and I have stayed in. Not only is it clean and tastefully decorated, but the service is impeccable, with things like a complimentary bottle of wine and sweets on arrival, and friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff who do everything within reason to make your stay a pleasure. The location is an excellent one: it is less than half an hour from the centre of Vienna on a train service that is fast, cheap and efficient, but still has the benefit of avoiding the considerable cost of a comparable city-centre hotel. In Klosterneuberg itself, there is a famous monastery, and in the other direction, Krems, Durnstein and Melk are all less than an hour away. Just one minor complaint, about the comfort of the bed. The old-style iron bedstead with its knobbly bars doesn't make for comfortable sitting-up (reading) in bed. That being said, we didn't bother to ask for another room , which they would most likely have given us. Also, I think there could have been more facilities, e.g. bar, business-centre and health/fitness, although we ourselves would probably not have used them anyway.
room size and cleanliness, also the breakfast choices were nice.
excellent hotel, excellent service at the reception, the rooms are clean and the people fantastic!! one of the best hotel I have never been!! congratulations
This is a charming old world hotel with all the modern amenities. The location is quite good for a visit to Vienna. There is bus service directly in front of the hotel. The best part of our stay were the two front desk ladies who were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We loved our stay here.
Excellent place for a romantic weekend
The hotel looks nice from outside There was horrible parking, place so small, I have never seen it before. Rooms were like old west europe style, I would never pay 112 euros, If i see rooms before. Early morning I could hear people smoking from downstairs, so I could not sleep.
missimg air conditioning
The hotel is very clean. The breakfast and service are excellent. It is a little expensive, but it was fair.
Very enjoyable stay. Hotel and restaurant and bar staff were so accomodating.
