LUKA.10 are two peaceful countryside cottages situated up a country lane in Kalnik, mountainous village less than an hour drive away from Zagreb, Croatia's capital, half an hour drive from the capital of Spancirfest - baroque city of Varazdin, stone trow from Hungarian and Slovenian borders, and less than three hours away from the nearest beach. Kalnik is also the name of the castle dating back to the 13th century and days of Mongol invasion; hilltop marking the end of the Alps mountain range with the top at 643 meters; popular destination for all the adrenalin but also the peace loving visitors. We can promise you can never get bored while here. Numerous walking, hiking, biking, free climbing, paragliding routes are a stone throw away. Alternatively, you can visit the charming old wine cellars, taste local food and wine, chat with friendly locals. The cottages were lovingly renovated in 2013 when the cow stable was converted into the smaller cottage sleeping three, and the house remained a house offering a nice place to stay for up to four guests.
