Hotel staff and the location
Nothing. Rooms are very small and smell ugly, breakfast was very bad, etc.
The hotel is right on the water and we ate breakfast, lunch and dinner over the water. We had a good sized double room with a seaview and sat of an evening with a pre-dinner drink on our balcony over looking the sea and listening to the live folk music provided. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed and felt like we were at home. Our meals and drinks were recorded on the hotel bill without our having to say anything and the staff were very helpful with providing internet access, advice on places to visit etc. nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend staying here - particularly if you are looking for a relaxed seaside holiday.
I liked hotel, particularly view on sea
We`d like mostly the Hotel location, really beachside hotel and also hotel staff has excellent service attitude without disturbing client´s privacy The room location, on the road side was not peacefule because of trafic noise.
Nice family run hotel who were very helpful. Lovely location right by the sea and we enjoyed a sea-view. No
We enjoyed our stay at the hotel lido. The front of the hotel facing the sea has a nice pool and excelent veiws over the Gulf. Theo the hotel owner and his sons are very helpful also Mya who seems to be involved in every aspect of running the hotel is alot of fun. The rooms are very nice with the best shower I have ever had in Greece although I would recomend that you get a room with sea or side view as the ones at the back facing the road can be quite noisy. But over all this is a great little hotel with good food, wine and friendly staff.
The staff and owner were very gracious and showed appreciation of our patronage. The hotel was extremely clean, located in a quiet area away from the city. Gorgeous pool, great food offered and swimming in the Corinthian Sea made this stay the best value of our 3 1/2 week trip. All was good!
A very relaxing palce to stay with everything that you need at your fingertips.
Everything: staff, rooms, food, view...
Beautifully renovated small hotel. The detail and decor were great. A GPS is a must to find the place. It's about 20 minutes from the Korinthos ruins. No tour buses!
Cosy bedroom and charming woody interior. Breakfast is very satisfying too.
Kefalari is realy lovely and peacefull village amoung the mountens. The hotel and the room are beautiffly furnished and the breakfast is plenty and dellicious! We spent a really wonderfull time here! the Lady does not speak English at all, but it was very funny
Superb hotel, in a wonderful location. Very romantic room, traditional decoration, warm and cozy. Sonia was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfast! We had a great time, and will be definitely coming back.
Traditional Greek old house fully restored, placed into a very quiet and remote area.
beatifull room on a beautifull location everything was perfect
Very warm welcome from the reception. Real nice breakfast arrangement.
Nice but very small rooms.
Lovely, well restored old house with a great taste of the owner. Love for details, kind of old fashioned in a positive way combined with quality and modern equipment. Owner very flexible in terms of check-in and breakfast time. We had no warm water due to some malfunction in the system. Taking care of these "situations" in advance could help avoiding the spoiling of the good overall impression.
A beautiful place to stay. The sea was amazing! The room spacious and modern. Can't wait for the Spa to open.
The rooms are very spacious and clean. The rooms have a great sea view, all night you hear the soft sound of the waves.. The service is also excellent, the staff very friendly and the breakfast very good! For sommer months surely the restaurant area is perfect, but for a bit colder weather it is not really cozy.
It was out of season but it was very nice and very quiet. Love the sound of the sea..
maybe the design o f the hotel and only for summer vacation or for a weekend break very very cold room ..... humidity all over and the bathroom was full of leakness
i enjoyed the seaside view of the room and the efforts of the restaurant staff to be helfpfull i did not like the attitude of one of the receptionists when i called for directions.she bordered on rude
First of all, the staff was so friendly and went above board to meet our needs. The hotel was very clean and very pretty. It was very close to my relatives and I could walk to their house. I was very happy with my stay there and would stay there again. I liked everything.
The hotel is very nice with homelike atmosphere. Daphne and the staff, they were very delightful to us. Location is calm and comfortable. Mornings we woke up to the sound of the sea and songs of birds.
Very nice place with comfortable and very well equipped rooms. Good management taking care for all details. No
Daphne's Club is the best place to stay in peloponese. Daphne is a fantastic host. The rooms are really comfortable. And the beach is so nice with a dramatic point of view.
Daphne's Club was above our expectations, warm welcome, gave us the feeling of being at home, helpfull staff, the total package was super! NO
Small friendly place not far to small supermarket and places to eat. Not many British around but English spoken by most.
Very friendly, you feel like you are at home. We liked the free bicycles and the adjacent forest. Beautiful pebbly beach. Good tavernas very close on the coastal promenade.
Our stay in Daphne's Club was perfect. Rooms were cleaned every 2 days. In the kitchen there were all nessesary to live for 2 weeks. Free bisycles for walk or shopping in Xylokastro, free sunbeds, free internet, cute living room, and the very Daphne, hostess of Hotel, who always could help in ALL situations - all was excellent!!! Corinthian bay with mountains on the opposite site, and pure water of the fantastic sea - the best place on Peloponess! It is also easy to make trips for Corinth, Athens, Patra, Mystras, Kalavrita, Osios Lucas in Fokida, Ioannina and Meteora! Reccomend for all travellers, who like to stay in quiet, clean hotel and feel like you're at home!
Quiet, comfortable and clean. Helpful staff and nice setting near the beach. No
kindness of the staff disponibilty during 24h/24h Noise Noise Noise; It's located near a skyopen night club noisy from 9 to 4 in the morning. olds rooms pooly cleaned with old bathroom bad continental Breakfast
Nice location, beautifull beach bar.
the staff were wonderful which complements the excellent beach/bar facility over the road from the hotel, though our stay was out of season and quiet the weekend still proved busy but not overly so. we had a great time thank you the only negatives would be the lack of tea/coffee making facilities in the room, and understandably the pool was empty.
Beach is really close, you just have to cross the road, and the bus to athens stops right in front of the hotel. The hotel says it's Xylokastro Beach Hotel however Xylokastro is 6 kms away, and it is probably willfully misplaced on the googlemaps location - showing it's less than 2 kms away from Xylokastro center.
noisy (night club). too expensive!
The quietness - ample choice of car parking spaces - lots of spare sun loungers No water in the pool - credit card machine did not work
We only stayed one night, as stop between two sailings, so it is hard to form an opinion . The breakfast was very poor.
it was near the sea, spacious,a bit old but friendly staff.Only 1 h 30 min outside of Athens. Breakfast was not so good
Nice place for summer next to sea with a very nice beach bar room service , breakfast
Easy access, friendly people, clean rooms, ideal for short stay relatively noisy due to the nearby road
