This resort is absolutely beautiful!!!!!!! It's peaceful and really secluded. The colors of the property and all the bean bag chairs make you feel happy and like you're on a true vacation. A really great place for families and kids to relax and have good family time. As a solo traveller it is far from civilization, but if you're just going to dive, it's perfect. The staff are incredible and friendly and serve with a smile. They are polite and a really great team. The Wi-Fi is fantastic! There are 3 connections each with their own hot-spot so no matter where you are in the resort you are connected. The food is awesome. Really tasty and good value for money on most dishes. The portion size is regular on some dishes and a lot bigger in others. So be sure to ask if you need to to clarify information on a certain dish. The views are incredible at sunrise. And the sounds of the ocean provide a very peaceful atmosphere. There is shampoo provided in the bathroom which is a huge help and there is a hot water shower. Really good bathrooms. There is also air conditioning in all the rooms. Perfect. The pool is amazing! During the day the sun is so hot that it heats the water and at about 4pm it is just perfect. Great size. It's an infinity pool so it's always clean, and if you do want something deeper you can swim in the dive practice pool. My stay was brilliant. I would recommend this resort to anyone. Robin, the manager, and his team really are great. If you're looking for a peaceful vacation spot or a place to scuba dive, this spot is absolutely perfect!
This hotel is very far from the town. So make sure you either pack some snacks or are willing to eat at the restaurant there. Unless you have a bike then it's easy to get around. The saving grace of this location is that it is directly opposite the beach. You walk out of the resort, turn left, take 20 steps and then you're there. Its a rocky beach, mostly for diving and snorkelling but you can swim there too if you want. Also I'm a stickler for cleanliness. And if you're staying in the backpacker bunk, not much cleaning takes place. If you get a private room they get cleaned every day. So if you really require a cleaning service every day, I would say spend the extra and get a room. The food is a reasonable price but there is a 21% government and service tax that gets added at the end. Be careful. It really pushes up the bill. There is also one picture of a lap pool, it's out if order. They're busy doing construction and upgrades.
The resort enjoys a quiet location right by the ocean with views. Beautiful and quiet garden. Simple room facilities, comfortable bed, in-room safe, beautiful open-air bathroom. Restaurant right in the resort, nice staff who helped arrange everything we needed. Swimming pool with ocean view.
We were at the resort for the second time in two years. Many things have changed. The resort is more focused on Chinese and Japanese tourists. Small selection of local cuisine and fish. Large closed swimming pool - broken. Bathroom worn, broken shower. The pool was closed several times for cleaning, a lot of chlorine. The resort has double prices compared to last year.
Nice rooms and very calm, quite property. Beautiful view of the water from the restaurant and pool area. Staff was very kind and friendly. It was easy to rent a scooter and was even given a quick lesson on how to drive it by the owner. Would recommend it to other travelers!
Wish the restaurant had a few more vegan options.
Staff was so friendly and helpful! They went above and beyond for anything that I needed help with. The location is beautiful and right on the water. I literally watched dolphins swim by while eating my breakfast. Only a few minutes away from everything by scooter. The room was very clean and the AC worked really well. Would recommend it to anyone staying in the Tulamben area that enjoys a quiet and relaxing stay.
Could have had a few more vegan options on the restaurant menu but overall, it was really good.
Very beautiful resort with extremely friendly staff, good food and spacious dorm rooms.
There was a lot of empty space in the dorms. By itself, this is a great thing, however, some more furniture or possibilities to put some clothes would be great as well! ;)
