Cons:The room was nice, not fancy, but clean and a good size. 4 elevators that are on separate circuits. Each stop on almost every floor on descent. Breakfast was very good. Excellent selections. During peak times, clear tables are difficult to find. Plenty of tables but the staff is very slow to clear empty used tables. If you need help from the front desk, don’t ask one of the ladies for help. All they can say (English of Ukrainian) is “come back tomorrow”. Ask one of the men at the desk for assistance. They are helpful. All the women working at the hotel appear to have an attitude. The men are very helpful. This is a $50-$60 a night hotel. Location is perfect.

Cons:Where to start. The room furniture and decorations was very dated. The bathroom clean and updated. The remainder of the hotel resembled Soviet Union appearance.Just a general appearance most everything does not work, old and outdated. The free breakfast was ok if you are Ukrainian. Westerners would not find it satisfying. It is a Ukrainian kitchen. When it rains the water drips on the outside air conditioning units giving the feeling of sleeping in a Chinese prison camp. The staff was acceptable but seemed to be indifferent. Everything cost extra with no coffee maker in the rooms. If the want that good old day "Soviet" feel. This is a good hotel for you
Pros:The facilities, location, reception staff and restaurants are excellent!! The location and view are amazing for the small cost!! A great value with great and knowledgeable people that truly want and try to help make your stay amazing!! I find that all is very clean and comfortable!! I find this hotel a wonderful place to stay!!! I will return here whenever I return to Kiev or the area!!!
Cons:I cannot name anything that I did not like!! The lifts are a little slow and the WiFi is not perfect...but not bad either!! A very nice hotel with a rich history and a wonderful, amazingly knowledgeable reception staff that can answer or provide you with anything that you ask!! I truly enjoy this hotel!!

Pros:The location, restaurant, staff was helpful, multi language, very clean and even as older hotel, had very good and visually pleasing architecture! I think is perfect for any type of travel! The cost was excellent, the location is perfect!! I really like the hotel!! Equivalent to most European good hotels!!The Internet Wi-Fi works ok!! The staff was amazing helpful to me!! They were exceptional as I needed to change my reservation and stay to attend an emergency with my daughter at home, they truly helped me with all the process and policy!! I will stay again!
Cons:Twin beds, but I expected some local differences! The lifts are quite slow, but still a very good hotel!
