Big clean room at a very reasonable price. Friendly, helpful English speaking staff. Beautiful waterfall outside the bar area.
Beautiful lobby, excellent location. good restaurant
The staff were very polite and eager to assist any way that they could
The bed in my room - like the docor - dated to the 1970's. Ridiculous that you have to pay for use of the pool. The food is ridiculously expensive and sub standard. 600 yen for a cup of coffee and they poured less than half of a tea cup.
The efficiency and kindness of the staff
Great staff with probably the best english skills in Kyoto. They provided great service throughout our stay. Free shuttlebus to Kyoto station.
The hotel is a bit old and the interior looks old and worn wth stains, etc. The hotel is located a bit far from the main streets with shops and restaurants. You need a bike or the subway to get home from the central part of Kyoto.
