nothing at all !!!!!! the bed was a nightmare, no hot water for shower, beatles in the bathroom, and the pool's machine was really close to our room, so the noise was during all night long...and it was the best room they had...at least, we asking for it because it was our honeymoon...brekfast no special...but no courtesy from staff, absolutely, it was a problem and at the end the answer was "get to f..k you" !!!!!!
The brekfast wz very very poor, and the staff wz rood. The only plus wz the location is great..
We had a very comfortable stay at Kyra Panagia hotel. The hotel is located very close to the beach. Both Yiannis and Mike were great hosts.
The hotel location is situated very close (5' walking) to the town center and at the same time is at a quiet area. The cleanliness was fair and the room (double) is comfortable. There is a new flat tv and a relatively new air condition system. The pool is large but it doesn't fit with the rest impression of the hotel. I'd recommend this hotel for a short stay and with the condition that someone would spend short time in the hotel. I would say that the hotel is rather repainted than renovated (except the reception hall). The furniture are well preserved but coming from past decades. Breakfast is served (not a buffet) with the minimal quantities and it cannot be characterised nor continental nor american or english one. Also the bathroom hasn't an air flow system (except the door). Finally the first answer I receveid, to my request for wi-fi internet, was that I have to pay 3€/hour contrary to what presented during booking procedure.I managed to have free access when I claimed that it was otherwise stated while booking. In general the price (55€) was not fair to the accomodation (maybe a 40€ would be closer to reality)
we enjoyed our stay in this Hotel. The owners are very helpfull and kind. The only suggestion: improve the breakfast!.
Good location. Nice view from the room Some traffic
The location and the pool They didnt serve a buffetbreakfest hardly any breakffest at all not until I strongly argued for them to do so
Alkioni is a wonderful place that offers a lot at very low rates, comparing with other places that I have stayed in the past. I really enjoyed the spacious and sunny apartments with the beautiful view of the little fishing harbour of Finiki and the opposit island of Kassos. Most of all I appreciated the kindness of the hosts who were willing to respond at any moment to my requests or to provide me with useful information about the island and the places most interesting to visit. I really enjoyed my stay. I recommend the place without hesitation.
The hosts were always very kind, generous and ready to give you good advices. The sight from the rooms is magnificent. ac is modern and well functioning. Both the small town Finiki with a handfull of fishrestaurants and the bigger Arkassa are quite authentic. We have enjoyed the small, but not overcrowded beach in Finiki. No!
We couldn't have been more pleased with the Alkioni. The view was spectacular and the room was everything we could have asked for and more--extremely comfortable, clean, quiet and well-appointed. My only regret was that we couldn't stay longer. Thank you Minas for a lovely stay.
Everything was excellent, but the hospitality of Minas and Anna made the difference! I have travelled in many places, but this is the most hospitable hotel i 've ever seen! :-) I think that somehow it was toooo excellent! :-)
1. Extremely friendly hosts willing to help you out whatever your needs. 2. Big, clean rooms with all the comforts. 3. Great, quiet location close to beautiful beaches and away from the hustle and bustle of Pigadia. 1. Nothing. Just keep up the good work!!
Beside the excellent sea view and the facilities offered, I best enjoyed the wonderful nature and the hospitality of the owners Minas and Anna. I look forward to see them again.
Kindness of staff property. Hotel quite and clean. No air circulation in the htl (ac in the rooms). Bath rooms too small; impossible to move. No lift.
The hotel was clean and near the beach, but it is now over 20 years old and it shows. The inside of the rooms is untreated concrete with no plaster and rudimentary decoration, Basic bathrooms with virtually no ventillation. Most rooms do not have direct view of the sea but oblique. The price, at the current exchange of euro to sterling, is ar too high. I was concerned to discover that all other residents were Italians on package tours, who had paid less than half the price for their rooms that we were paying. Lower the prices and increase the quality - a fridge in every room is essential. The quality of breakfast was very poor - include proper orange juice, fresh bread and some decent fruit. Many other improvements could be made. Remove or relocate the boiler vent from underneath Room 110 which produces diesel fumes and a humming noise, intermittently. Provide a free internet computer for residents - tourists on holidays do not drag their laptops, but would like to check their emails.
Friendliness of staff, food and location of hotel on the beach. No
close to the city beach, city center, very clean and quiet place for spending a summer holiday everything was fine
I very much liked the location of the hotel - city center and quiet- and also the magnificent view!! The breakfast would be better to include local traditional products ( fresh milk, local cheese, yogurt..)
Very good value for money. Nice staff. Breakfast to be improved.
The friendlyness, and peace.
A very nice hotel with perfect location. Near the restaurants, shopping and beach. (The beach closest to Sunrise is actually the best in Pagadia! Those further away are filled with small stones.) Very close to supermarket (a small one) and bus station if you want to go to Lefkos or any other place. A bit expensive hotel bar, but what did you expect? Go to a restaurant if you want cheaper beer!
Hotel was comfortable and very clean, staff were excellent.beautiful view from the balcony . poor breakfast - very limited choice with no vegetable/fruit options
Staff always helpful and very kind; service way superior to expectations considering the 2 star rating (not fair in my opinion, should be a 3 star hotel); simple room but always clean and well-groomed, very bright; excellent bar for service, quality, choice and position (sea view, tables outside). Perfect quiet place as a base to move downtown and to the beach (both 5 minutes walk). Yummy greek yogurt for breakfast.
beautiful view from the balcony poor breakfast - very limited choice with no vegetable/fruit options
the seaview, the hospitality, downtown no, all were perfect
Close to nightlife and city shops...Value for money wi-fi access was not free.
