friendly, helpful staff, good breakfast the central heating was set far too high
The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. Good selection of food.
Great place to stay to ski all the area. Good breakfast! Reception very helpfull. Small rooms but reflected in price.
good location, very warm, lots of hot water for a bath, near la massana ski lift, quiet, good breakfast provided and great staff and very very cheap, couple who ran it were great..cooking meals at all hours
Very nice people will help you with everything.
Nice hotel, clean room, very friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast buffet. Nice views as the hotel is halfway up the side of the valley. Only criticism is that the room wasnt well insulated for sound and the beds were too soft for me!
Very friendly staff, but some communication issues as my french and spanish is not very good and many of the staff had no english. Facilities excellent, lovely pool and wonderful outdoor play area for children and adults alike. Didn't really get to do anything of the indoor play area as weather was too good to stay inside. Easy access to local villages and towns, beautiful walks and reliable bus service for longer journeys. Disappointed by lack of oven in apartment but I understand that some appartments did have them - luck of the draw I guess. Excellent food in bar and very good value. Four flights of stairs to the apartment but to be fair we did know about this before we arrived!!
quality of people who were on site-first class.access to vallnord good-views-stunning some fittings-a little tired
Blanks in the room were so poor, likely not be cleaned.
The peace and quiet and the privacy practiced by the staff was not anything we didn't like
The room was filthy. Infestation of ants. Poor electrics.
The location and views very peaceful and safe.
Nice quiet location. Family friendly. Plenty of activities for kids. Apartments were spacious and value for money.Friendly staff who tried their best to understand us. Restaurant had a good choice of meals and the buffet was good value for money. No shop on site to buy essentials like bread, milk etc. Restaurants and bar closed at 8 o' clock. No parasols available by the sun loungers and at times it was very hot during our stay!
staff is very pleasant and ready for help Noisy and cold room on the 1st floor. Reception has business hours from 9 till 19 with a lunch break when it comletely closed with only emergency phone to call. So we has bad luck to arrive during the lunch with no possibility to check in. Not all reception staff speaks English and was unable to help us by phone to catch the right bus to get the hotel.
Good, quiet place. Pretty close by car to sky slopes and downtown Only one bathroom to share, but not a major concern.
Location :very good.Bus service & bakery so close.Excellant that it was close to town but still felt like it was in the mountains.Kitchen facilities very good also layout of apartment good. We were in G Room 36very good except the bath in the bathroom was in a very bad positionAccess to it was too limited as it was built into a very narrow space.I would not like that again. Also the couch as very uncomfortable......it needed a few cushions as there was no back support when sitting to relax after a long days walking!!Please buy a few cushions and that would make all the difference.
The rooms were adequate and what one would expect for the price. The kitchen/bathroom facilities plus washing machine were well above expectation and made this a really good young-family appartment. Location fine with a car and linked hotel is a good 3* with a swimming pool. Let down badly by quality of beds that would not even grace a 1* hostel. Personally, I think four adults would end up stir crazy in the space and note that it would only work for two couples if all occupants were adult.
Well equiped apartment. Welcome pack was great - especially the sweets for the kids! Rooms were a good temperature - not hot and stuffy and not cold. Thank goodness we had a top box on the roof of the car to leave our ski equipment as we could not have carried our ski's and boots etc for the family up and down the stairs each day - it would have been very time consuming! The apartments were also very difficult to find as not signed as Club El Tarter. The sofa bed matresses were very hard to sleep on
I liked the room and the excellent view. Good access to the town, but only because we had a car.
good location close to ski station el Tarter; well equiped apartment apartment too small for 4 people
Nice modern apartments for a relaxing time. The location is not easy to find especially that its not called El Tarter the name is La Dorada el tarter. Even the taxi drivers dont know the location. To arrive there you take the road up to Ransol and when the road spilts to the right( there is a hotel on the left) You then need to park. You access the apartments by taking the stairs opposite the hotel.
SElf catering Too far from main resort
clean ,comfortable apartment in a good location.
We were very impressed that we were even able to stay in an apartment for only one night. It made it very good value. It was a small apartment, but so well laid out that it didn't matter, and it was for only one night. The views from the balcony were beautiful. And the best bit was the provision of milk, orange juice, butter and jam in the fridge, and some biscuits and tea and coffee provided, too. We hadn't expected that and it made our visit that much easier. It didn't affect me, but my husband had to lug the bags up a big hill and stairs, because you can't get a car up close to where the apartments are- he found that hard. We had a short summer visit as two adults and two children- I think four adults with ski equipment in the dead of winter might be a struggle.
great value - close to the ski slopes. very nice details in that they included a small guest basket including cleaning supplies (sponge & soap) for the kitchen, plus basic starters for breakfast, milk, juice, jam and butter. (bring your own filter coffee) it had last snowed a couple days prior and no one had shoveled the stairs leading to the rooms. rather precarious walking up the stairs with frozen snow packed to each step, and it would take only 5 minutes to correct.
The warmth of the room and the view. The long walk with 2 children from the chairlift at the end of a hard day's skiing. No facilities for shopping or bars and restaurants. Really the accomadation was suitable for car owners only.
Kitchen well equiped, nice and clean, close to ski resorts.
