Great views and very nice junior suite. The food was good. It was very very hard to find and the directions you get from Bookings.com (mapquest) were not even close to right. We needed to ask directions many times as we got closer and closer. Gps in the rental car would have helped a lot.
Have visited the restaurant before for lunch and it is the location that attracted us for a return visit Fee you quoted was not correct, hotel did phone in advance and advised of increased fees for the weekend part of the stay. Your figure of 206.00 was incrreased to 103 for the Thursday and 136 for the Friday.
location is its selling point plus value for money getting the same menu two days in a row
The location was ideal with beautiful view, food was excellent especially breakfasr buffet. The air conditioning didnt work properly & the room walls are not well insulated, as we were continualy disturbed by a family with young child next door!!
I like the bungalow type room with the lounge upstairs. The room position on top of the mountain was great and hence there good views from both the lounge and the bedroom together with the balcony. The shower had no screen or curtain over the bath hence water went everywhere.I viewed the rooms in the main building and thought they lack character and were basic.
Only 5 or 6 guests at hotel. Therefore they could not present the full menu in a fresh cooked state. It was obvious that it had been microwaved. Not good. Curtailed our stay
The position of the hotel - fantastic views - uncommercialised - good walking area. The food was not brilliant.
no tea or coffee making facilities
We liked Borja, the stunning views, the food was good, especially good.
The peace and quiet of the surroundings Whilst the food was quite good - there could be room for improvement
Stayed for three nights, breakfast great, beds comfy, staff very helpfull and friendly. Downside tv channels were rubbish first two nights not much english and reception poor. On third day came back to room to find two brand new lcd tvs and we had some sky channels. Maybe they noticed our dvd player we took. Better late than never See other box sorry
The beach, the swimming pool, the golf, the GP and the cash point in the resort. The restaurants are poor and there is nothing else around which means you are stuck there in the evening. You will have to go to Denia to have a choice of many restaurants. The best restaurant in term of food and service is the one at the golf club.
Vieuw from our room, beautifull and clean beach, , lovely pool, great golfcourse . The menu of the restaurant is absolutely value for money. Remoteness: no other restaurants nearby, you need a car. Only one small supermarket in the neigbourhood with very limited stock and quiet expensive. Very noisy during the weekends. They kept us awake untill 06.00 hours. The beach "bar" and poolrestaurant close after 15th of september.
good hotel, pool & beach, free wifi internet for longer stay, meals (especially dinners, but breakfests also) were boring... 2kms from Oliva, you have to use your car if you want to go there
The great, friendly staff was the highest standout. They had us settled in with no fuss and lots of smiles. There was nothing we didn't like about this hotel - we were cursing that we didn't have more time there.
The space, peace and quiet even though the hotel was quite full The hotel hadn't confirmed if the Spa was included in the rate and wouldn't change even though it was a clear request on their printed copy of the booking.
Staff were very friendly and helpful
I was surprised and disapointed to have to pay to use the indoor swimming pool at a 4 star hotel.
Beautiful pool and close to a long lovely sandy beach. Good breakfast, although with lousy coffee. Good service. Clean and green parklike resort, geared to golfers and their families. Fair prices for food and drinks. Beach Bar and facilities only available from 1 July to 15 September. The 2 restaurants do not offer lunch and dinner of 4-star quality. Nearest towns are at least 7 km away, so you absolutely need a bike or a car. Hotel is part of a large golf village with 100's of apartments and houses which by September 15 were already almost all empty which makes it feel like a 'ghost town', especially when night falls.
Well laid out and equipped resort hotel. Good rooms, very spacious all round and very clean, well maintained. Easy access to beach and sea None
Beautiful small hotel set in an orange grove with the mountains as a backdrop. There is impressive attention to detail throughout the hotel which leaves a lasting memory.
Hidden gem well worth a visit. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Small and select former farmhouse in pleasant grounds - off the beaten track, but easy access to town and beaches. A car is essential if you want to visit the surrounding area. An authentic Spanish hotel in a nice area - we will return.
It was very rural so felt like staying in "real Spain" rather than the tourist areas, which is what we wanted to experience. However it also had a nice restaurant with a good menu and a swimming pool so provided facilities that meant you didn't have to keep leaving the hotel and driving. The only suggestion we can make is that the hotel is very difficult to find from the n332 and is not actually signed until you turn off. We had to stop and ask at the Tourist Infomation office in Pego. Without her directions we would never have found it. It needs to be signposted from the main road.
