Pros: The guest are very friendly, discreet, helpful and made us feel at home and completely confortable. Apart from their kindness, two things stand out particularly. The exceptional quality of the massage offered. The guest that had it said it was the best she had ever had, and she's had many. The breakfast which is amazing (diverse, tasteful - with, for exemple homemade jam prepared with fruits of the garden - crêpes, fresh french pastry etc.).
Cons: Nothing really.
Pros: Excellent hosts who are super friendly and attentive and at the same time authentic and interesting people., Excellent breakfast! Very good location and facilities. We can highly recommend it and we are coming back!
Pros: Great little house in an unexpected location, the host is absolutely wonderful, takes care of every little detail. Highly recommendable!
Pros: We had a lovely time, the couple running it made us very welcome. We hit a lot of traffic around Bordeaux resulting in a very late arrival, they were very understanding and nothing was too much trouble. We will be definitely booking here again for next year's camping trip down to Messanges. Also, being only 18 miles from Paris this would be a great place to stay, there is a train station in the village, you can be in Paris in just over 30 minutes!
Cons: Couldn't fault anything!
Pros: There was everything we need. Friendly host. There is swimingpool you can use. Paris is nearby but feels like in countryfarm. Nature allaround. Love this place.
Pros: Hospitality was amazing. We had a feeling like we are part of the "house", very family environment, Highly recommending for people who dont liked fullfilled hotels. Thanks again :)
Cons: We were not allowed to take Beardie with us :) (for everyone who does not know, Beardie is one of the best and most amazing dog we have ever seen, so hope I am spelling her name correctly)
Pros: Purely. Very cozy. Breakfast is brought to the house. All household appliances are.
Cons: Chicken singing in the morning)))
Pros: Amazing swiming pool And delicious breakfast
Pros: Staff very hospitable. Breakfast excellent.
Cons: All was good.
Pros: Very friendly host, he even picked me up from the train although the accommodation is near the station. Great breakfast and peaceful place.
Pros: ambiance, breakfeast,hospıtalıty
Pros: Lovely relaxed breakfast, a very peaceful location
Pros: Very polite owner, location etc
Pros: Very nice location and great rooms. Quiet, good internet and very friendly people.
Pros: Lovely mansion, so close to Paris and so peaceful and quiet. A perfect place to take a rest and explore the region.
Pros: Although we arrived well before the check in time we were made very welcome by the host and the dog. The room was extra large and well appointed with good views of the gardens. The bed was very comfortable and there were tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The shower room and separate toilet were also large and well equipped. The décor throughout the property was good and in keeping with the style and age of the house. Breakfast was good with a full range of continental items and we were offered eggs. Our hosts were informative and friendly and helped make our stay very enjoyable. Thank you for your attention.
Cons: No dislikes or adverse comments
Pros: the room
Cons: wwe were overcharged
Péniche Daphné is located on the banks of the Oise River in Auvers-sur-Oise, the impressionist city where Vincent Van Gogh used to live. Free WiFi access is available. This boat includes a double room and a private bathroom with shower. Breakfast can be enjoyed on the terrace. Paris - Charles de Gaulle Airport is 27 km away.
Pros: Location and staying on a boat. Use of kitchen . Peaceful
Cons: Bed was rather small.
Pros: The setting on the river is tranquil and beautiful. An easy walk to the sites around town. The barge was immaculate, the room larger than some in Paris. Quality towels and bed linens. We had a picnic dinner on deck and enjoyed watching the ducks and rowers. Christine's breakfast was amazing, and it was sweet to have a visit with her and learn more about the boat. A delight!
Pros: Peniche Daphne is in the perfect location within walking distance of the beautiful Auvers-sur- Oise. Christine is an excellent and hospitable host.
Pros: Nice host, great location, good concept, ice breakfast, clean rooms
Cons: unfortunately the twin room has superimposed beds and it’s not clear when we reserved
Pros: Unusual experience sleeping on a barge. Romantic and fun. Perfect French breakfast. Wonderful host. Thank you for such an amazing time. Added bonus was the beautiful town of Auvers-sur-Oise, and the links to Vincent Van Gough.
Cons: We should have stayed longer - but time didn't allow. Also, it was above our usual budget, but well worth it.
Pros: The owner was really lovely, could not have been more helpful and friendly. The breakfast was fabulous. The setting was idyllic!
Pros: There are limited options re lodging in Auvers sur oise. This well maintained houseboat a ten minute walk from the town was the best option by far. Clean; good breakfast. Host was extremely accommodating re arrival and departure times. We visited to step back into time with Van Gogh. This stay added to that experience.
Situated in Auvers-sur-Oise and with Auberge Ravoux reachable within 3.1 km, Le Panoramique features a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and barbecue facilities. At the guest house, each room is fitted with a wardrobe. At Maison Auvers-Oise the rooms have a desk, a TV and a private bathroom. The accommodation offers a sun terrace. The nearest airport is Paris - Charles de Gaulle Airport, 40 km from Le Panoramique.
Cons: Although this property was pleasant it was difficult to find as it was up a single track road which had a 'NO ENTRY' sign on both roads leading up to it. There was no parking other than the narrow road outside the property. Approach from the main road would have necessitated climbing some 40-50 steps with our luggage. The impression from your description of the property made it appear as one of several houses on a large estate, not one single private building with two rooms. The owner, although very pleasant, had a very little knowledge of English which meant we were not told what other facilities, as mentioned in your description (such as the bbq and patio), we could have used.
Cons: Very hard to find. Google maps took us to the wrong place. The owner wasn’t able to explain how to get there in English and my French is pretty bad. When we FINALLY found it, we couldn’t identify it because the picture on booking.com is NOT the hotel. When we showed it to the owner, he said ‘I’ve never seen that picture.’ I recommend that detailed written directions be sent to customers as soon as a booking is made.
Pros: A good, comfortable room, everything possibly needed was there. Friendly, helpful owner. Good Italian restaurant on walking distance.
Pros: The owner had though of everything, there was everything we need and it was supper comfy, clean and with good view on the forest. The place is close to the train station and it was really peacefully.

Pros: The breakfast was very ok. A good start of the day. The room is nice furnished and large. A good bed and linen let me spent a relaxing nigth. Bathroom and toilet are extra rooms in modern disign. In the breakfast room I could find a bear in the evening.
Cons: To find were to ring and to park was in the first moment not clear, but I could manage - It was due to my lack of French - The owner was in very short time on site :-)
Pros: the welcome of the Hotel, the comfort and the calm of the residence
Pros: Nice ambiente
Cons: Less/no German/English tv channels
Pros: The room was comfortable, good parking, although we didn't meet any members of staff the entry system worked well
Cons: There is nowhere nearby to eat
With a stay at La Villa de L'Ecluse in L'Isle-Adam, you'll be 15.2 mi (24.5 km) from Cergy Pontoise University and 4.9 mi (7.9 km) from Castle of Auvers. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The ambiance and town.
Pros: This place has a lot going for it: located close to the Oise, with a terrace overlooking the river, good rooms, pretty decent cuisine, friendly staff, nice atmosphere all over.
Cons: The lobby/bar area, while not bad, could be better. In its current state it's not comfortable enough, especially because the hotel promotes itself as a place to lounge. The restaurant is good, sometimes even awesome, but uneven (i.e. not all dishes are equally good, although the chef is definitely talented), and service is slow at times. The bigger rooms are not cheap.
Pros: Breakfast was good.
Cons: Not enough hangers
Pros: Every thing
Pros: Beautiful location facing the locks
Pros: The staff were excellent, especially Roxanne who was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and very clean, the bed was very comfortable. The whole hotel was very clean indeed. Security was good. Extra pillows were supplied as requested in advance.
Cons: There was only one bath towel between two guests on the first night but there were two on the second night. Only two teabags were supplied in the room each night and there was no milk at all. Breakfast was a little disappointing and not good value, we were left to our own devices and not communicated with at all, not offered coffee or tea. We served ourselves. I would have expected scrambled eggs to be available.
Pros: Interesting immediate location for family. Good train access to Paris
Cons: A ‘bit’ pricey
Pros: Staff very friendly and just overall a lovely hotel. 12.00 check out time really helped as well.
Pros: Lovely quiet location.
Cons: The room and bed was small, but very comfortable
Pros: Quality of rooms was excellent, parking good and easy walking distance into town.
Cons: Staff, although pleasant were not of the standard expected of a four star hotel. To stand in a group on the outside steps smoking and making phone calls not impressive in front of guests. The quality of the breakfast was the worst of any of the five other hotels we used on this trip and the most expensive. Nothing was replenished and vacated tables were not cleared. No-one in attendance. Flies were inside the warm food container when opened. Lack of soundproofing between the rooms so any doors being opened and taps run etc could be clearly heard as well as noise from bar in ground floor rooms. A massive oversight re the construction of the new part of the building.
With a stay at Château de l'Hermitage in Ennery, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Cergy Pontoise University and Abbaye de Maubuisson. Featured amenities include a business center and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. Planning an event in Ennery? This hotel has 269 square feet (25 square meters) of space consisting of conference space and a meeting room. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Good evening meal with friendly service. Breakfast was haphazard, not enough bread for our group!
Cons: Signage and directions were very poor. There was a small hand written sign indicating the direction to the hotel - very easy to miss - which we did!
Pros: If you want to experience French hospitality this is the place to come to. A refreshing change from sterile hotels, The staff are kind and the kitchen offers a great quality of meals. The rooms are fine with great views. If you want to get out of Paris ( 30 minutes by train to Paris ) this is an option.
Cons: Nothing - there is a bit of paint missing here and there, and a bit of maintenance is required, but that is exactly the charm of this hotel.
Pros: I liked the house especially the old parquet, I liked the countryside atmosphere although there is really nothing around.
Cons: Wifi was not working properly and some days was just not working at all. The floor of the room has not been vacuumed at all, killed an insect on the floor and stayed there until I left. Developed strong allergies during my stayed, it took couple of weeks to recover after coming back home. I stayed for 2 weeks and the bed sheets were not replaced at all. Poor English knowledge of the staff. Nobody welcomed me when I reached although it was 11pm, kept on ringing until a client from the upper floor saw me downstairs and from the window gave me the code to open the door. Poor choice of food for dinner.
Pros: Rather cold room in September.
Pros: Great staff, nice dinner in the garden and comfy bed in an old, nicely maintained mansion.
Cons: Can’t think of something
Pros: Breakfirst atmosphere top. Nice place Lot of space nice people
Cons: unfortunately bathroom dirty dusche not working and not acceptable. cold during the night old fashioned style.
Cons: There was a can from the previous guest under the desk.
Pros: Nice location near Pontoise. Good dining in Chateau. 10 mins. Drive to local restaurants. Modern bathrooms nice bedroom Friendly and helpful staff. General location in industrial park. No immediate public transport Plenty of free parking Just 2 public rooms Dining and bar. Modern plumbing. Heating, lights. Pretty setting. Research location to find Exactly next door to Big hotel And golf.
Cons: Staff will give you front door code.
Pros: The view and the quiet place..
Pros: The place to be if you want to sleep like a baby
Just 12.4 miles (20 km) from Paris, surround yourself with nature at the Novotel Château de Maffliers hotel. Perfect for romantic weekends or family trips, private events or seminars, the hotel boasts 99 rooms, 3 reception rooms, 9 meeting rooms, a contem porary restaurant and a British-style bar. There is plenty on offer nearby too: enjoy a visit to the Château de Chantilly or the Enghien-les-Bains casino. Relax in our indoor pool and sauna and enjoy a revitalizing stay in Ile-de-France at Novotel!
Pros: Breakfast was excellent. The best Croissant I ever had! Receptionist was very helpful and kind.
Cons: Ground floor hall carpet smell badly. First floor and second floor hall were fine! Although, room carpet did not smell at the ground floor rooms, I had to ask to move to a room at 1st floor, couldn't stand the strong smell. There wasn't any shop or restaurant near the hotel. Shower's were old fashion, requires update.
Pros: Have stayed here many times over the past several years. Ideal setting in beautiful grounds. Be aware that the bedrooms are in a separate building to the chateau but this has been very tastefully constructed in keeping with the chateau. The public rooms are within the chateau just a brief stroll away and these make for a very pleasant setting for a drink or light snack in the evening - or for a meal in the restaurant. The bedrooms are a generous size and nicely furnished - the beds are exceptionally comfortable. Breakfast is of good quality and with plenty of choice. The breakfast room is within the accommodation building but overlooking the lawns towards the château. Access is very easy from the motorway network. Suburbia is not not far away but once in the grounds you would never know it. Very professional staff with fluent English if you need it. We will be back!
Pros: A fantastic location with very helpful and friendly staff.A new reception and breakfast room area is fantastic!
Cons: Air conditioning not working in the room, we were offered another room which was cooler but still no air con.
Pros: The staff were very helpful. Sam at reception was extremely helpful and friendly. The food in the restaurant was very good. We ate there on two occasions. My daughter liked the buffet breakfast and sauna a lot.
Cons: Cannot think of anything. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Cons: It is literally a building site the room was so small you Cdnt stand between the beds The was a sewage smell in the halls The receptionist was wearing a mask because of the dust and smells The male receptionist was plain rude The breakfast was not upto standard in the main chstesu
Pros: Nice breakfast
Cons: Small room and interior design would need to be improved.
Pros: Upon arriving staff war very casual/ close to rude to us.
Cons: Rooms were not ready (4 hours late)
Pros: Convenient and tranquil location. Staff at breakfast were very helpful but there was too much housekeeping going on.
Cons: The waiter at dinner was a bit too laid back and didn’t remember all of our order. The food resembled what was on the menu but did not match the descriptions. The public area in the annexe was under construction and there was no mention of this before we arrived.
Pros: Location is amazing, in country, between two villages. Very peaceful, and still equipped with many sport and spa facilities. Unfortunately, to short visit and no possibility to enjoy in them :( Also, several nice places in neighbor - born village of Jean Gabin, thomb of Vincent van Gogh and others.
Cons: Smell of pool. Breakfast could be little bit more various.
Ibis budget - the smart choice for both business and leisure travellers! Our modern, comfortable room can accommodate up to 3 people, with a shower, toilet, and flat-screen TV, all at an affordable price. And in the morning, help yourself to our all-you-c an-eat buffet breakfast!
Pros: Simple room facilities
Cons: Bathroom small and toilet without cover
Pros: Great location. Just off the A16. Lots of parking and eating places close by. Room layout was very clever design for a small room. One double bed with a single bunk bed across the top. Mattresses very comfortable. It also has a small restaurant that is open in the morning that sells buffet style continental breakfast. It was around 6 euros.
Cons: The only negative point was the room appeared to have air conditioning but it didn't work.
Pros: arrived at 9pm and used the automatic check in machine and was given access codes to use my room and enter the property without an issue. In the area there was a Mcdonald restaurant, an Autogrill and other restaurants. A number shops are also close by.
Pros: Near a shopping centre and restaun
Cons: The hallway, the sheets and pillows smelled cigarettes While the hotel is smokefree
Pros: I did not have the breakfast
Pros: clean rooms and common areas and helpful and friendly staff
Cons: VERY disappointed that AC did not work in both rooms we had booked. after hours no one to fix or address concern. picked this hotel based on AC and then drove extra to get there for that purpose... warm night, opened window was the only reprieve. If it says AC, make sure it works
Pros: The staff was very rude
Cons: Breakfast could be improved
Pros: Supermarkets are around. Rooms were clean.
Cons: It is not a special Hotel but it serves the purpose for a short stay. Bathrooms are not really comfy and the is no loo lid. Thats a bit disgusting we felt.
Located in L'Isle-Adam, Château des Forgets Hotel is within a 15-minute drive of Castle of Auvers and Paris International Golf Club. Featured amenities include multilingual staff, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
Located in Mery-sur-Oise, Café de la gare is a 3-minute drive from Castle of Auvers and 6 minutes from Abbaye de Maubuisson. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: The advert did not state that the toilet was shared and outside the room. It states that there is a shower in the room but implies it’s a bathroom which I would read as suggesting full facilities. The accommodation is very tired looking with worn out entrance off the car park - all at a very poor standard.
Pros: For the price you pay the quality/price is very good, the hotel does not look beautiful from the outside but the rooms are big and comfortable, the staff is friendly. It has some character the place.
Cons: Bathroom is en suite, however toilet is in the hall way. For me not a problem but I can imagine for some people they have issues with that. I like the fact that the hotel is nicely heated however I would to be able to regulate this in my room. During my stay it was a bit to warm.
Pros: Bed was comfortable
Cons: Hallway! Landing and stairs discusting, No internet connection on second floor
Pros: Very near the station. Good coffee in the bar downstairs.
Cons: Shared toilet with no washhand basin. No soap in the bedrooms. If someone had a stomach upset, it would spread like wildfire if people could not wash their hands properly. The proprietor seemed put out when I asked for soap and pointed out that the website said that there was nothing supplied. She grudging supplied two tiny bottles of shower gel. The stairs were worn and very dirty. The wall of my bathroom had soap splashes and a smear of something water soluble that I did not investigate further. It would have taken 30 seconds to wipe down. The bin had crisp crumbs in it.. Again this should have been checked. This lack of attention to detail was most offputting. I wouldn't stay there again if there was an alternative.
Pros: Room was clean and tidy
Cons: Entrance to bedrooms very tired.
Located in Baillet-en-France, Best Hotel Monsoult La Croix Verte is within a 15-minute drive of Saint Denis Basilica and Cergy Pontoise University. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: That staff are very friendly and did all they could to make our stay most comfortable
Pros: Clean sheets
Cons: Cramped bathroom
Pros: The staff were absolutely fantastic, the room was clean and adequate.
Cons: The shower didn’t have a high enough fixture to have a proper shower and the room was stiflingly hot making it extremely hard for our son to get to sleep.
Cons: The restaurant was not prepared to do anything to accommodate my allergies.
Pros: Quiet, not too far from train station, direct line from gare du Nord
Cons: Location: industrial place
Pros: The bed was very comfortable.
Cons: The man at the desk was rude over the phone. The entrance is difficult to find. I booked it specifically because booking.com said it had a shuttle. It does not. The train station has a shuttle...ten minutes away. The wifi didn't work.
Pros: Location is a bit off, in a remote, semi-industrial area but to be fair there isn't much accomodation around that part of the suburbs. The staff was polite and nice, rooms were clean.
Cons: Breakfast was a little bit sparse. My room had a small window, with a view on the Renault Trucks warehouse which is very noisy. Lack of air-conditioning can be tough.
This low-cost hotel with free Wi-Fi access is located just 1 km from the centre of Chambly. It features a garden and a buffet breakfast is served every morning. A fan and a TV are provided in the guest rooms, which have a simple décor. Each room has access to a shared bathroom located in the corridor. Free on-site parking is available at Class'Eco Chambly and Persan Beaumont Train Station is 7 km away. Isle d'Adam Golf Club is 8 km away and the hotel is accessible via the A16 motorway.
Pros: Its cheap
Cons: Its smell bad and i felt unsafe
Pros: It was ok for price
Cons: Better breakfast. More crossiants
Cons: There was a spy hole in the shower that could be watched from someone in the toilet...
Cons: The room was a non smoking room but it smelled heavily of cigarettes. When we arrived the room had about 30 flies in it which took about an hour to swat before we could relax. It was a double and a single bunk which my children had to share - it was supposed to be a room for four.
Pros: Not the place for family normal stay. feel like unsafe with some people drunk and wandering all around. No bath room and toilet inside. You have to take shower and pee far walking away from you room.
Pros: Beautiful road,silent location,nice weather
Cons: Poor cleanliness
Pros: It did what it said on the tin. Basic but clean. Priced alright considering the other options in the city.
Cons: Strange smell in the room. Very basic accommodation. More of a workers digs rather than a hotel. You wouldn't want to take a family there.
Pros: Quite place and good location.
Cons: Everything was fine.
Pros: It’s okay
Cons: It’s okay
