Quality & cleanness of the room/bathroom The only available bar was inside the casino around the gambling machines, thus no comfort.
very comfortable beds.
The room was clean and very comfortable The breakfast was really poor!!!!! Not a good selection and very basic for a such a star rating hotel.
The rooms are large, the bed is very confortable and the decoration is simple and of good taste This hotel is developing a process of steadly quality decrease from its opennig. The bed cover was dirty and we have to ask for its change, they don't have bedrobes anymore, and when I asked for Champange glasses they brought us a couple of Coca-cola type glasses. Is a pity that a so interesting hotel is getting in such a downward path.
Spacious, confortable room. Good breakfast. TV on the small size, considering the size of the room.
Very nice room. Hotel staff provided a really bad customer service.
The local Casino is on the Ground floor. Its open all night and you can become an immediate member. The food was great. And staff came from reception to 'interpret' the spanish menu for us. It was a cold, weird place. (Tune from 'Deliverance") It is clearly for gamblers from across the border (Portugal) and locals. We were just passing through, so it did not matter. But another overpriced, under delivery hotel in the sticks.
spacious rooms, good decoration stains on the carpet, poor breakfast for a 5 star hotel. the staff should speak better English
Simpaty of the personnel The breakfast was very poor and extremely expensive, so we took it outside. I asked for a basket of ice and they brought me a glass with some ice cubes ??
Good location outside the city center if you are on transit to other cities. Breakfast looked poor with no bread and dried scrambled eggs, 45 minutes before end time.
Good location and easy parking
Simpaty, very clean and it's well located (on the center of the city)
Location. Price. The air conditioner was not functioning properly and kept sending out heat making the environment of the room unbearably hot.
The Receptionist was very helpful - though the breakfast staff were very rude and unhelpfull
locality reasonably central Not a great resaurant
Restaurant Food very good. Relaxing, quiet and helpful staff.
very efficient and nice housekeeping staff lack of irons and irining boards in rooms
Big room. Big bathroom. Could have one single big bed.
Good price. Even in summer, swimming pool could be heated. Kind of outdated, for an 4 star hotel.
The internal design, layout and decor No in-room facilities for making tea/coffee etc. No coffee lounge. Smoking allowed in restaurant.
Generally, very good in terms of size of room and services provided. We had asked for a non-smokers' room but the room stank of smoke that could not be eradicated even with the best efforts of the cleaning lady. This was seriously annoying as the stink seemed to permeate everything.
Service, proximity to the highlights of Badajoz
The air conditioning 1- Despite being prohibited, there is smoke in the elevators. Therefore, the hotel staff should be more active in controling the smokers; 2- The windows are old and not close properly
Good situation. Pleasant atmosphere
good for overnight stay
the peace and comfort
One particularly helpful member of reception staff was able to give us copious information about the local area and places of interest. A majority of the staff with whom we came in contact were not able to speak English, however I do appreciate we were not staying on the coast or in a traditional "tourist" area. One specific problem cocerning the games console not working in our room, was ignored despite explaining the problem to 2 members of staff.
The bedroom was attractive, spacious and very pleasant. It was a surprise as the hotel is situated at a service station and I had not expected such a nice one. I think the hotel could offer staying guests an area for a drink or a bite to eat but the night we were there they were hosting a large wedding which took up all of the facilities and we had to go into Badejos to find a drink and some food.
very clean, easy to find. Ideal for a 1 night stopover. Next to petrol station. Hotel restaurant very exspensive, cafe next door good. not having a swimming pool.
Large rooms; cleanliness; close to the city; quiet rooms with good soundproofing
rooms were modern and clean, free parking space, free internet, however not worth 4* , we did not find the staff very friendly either, if you're not wearing fancy clothes they look down on you because 'they work in a 4 * hotel'. minor issue: if you take too much water whilst showering, the build-up pressure gets too high and the shower head replaces, turning your bath room into a swimming pool. major issue: the breakfast, which was really horrendous. If you stay there for only 1 night you don't have a clue but we stayed for much longer and saw the tactics they were applying. The food (the same meat and cheese laid there for several days, all 'sweaty and stinky'); when we arrived on saturday evening, there was a wedding reception planned under our window, the wedding cake with whipped cream was presented at breakfast until thursday (when we left the hotel). I tried to eat one of their boiled eggs, it was greenish inside en lost its natural colour. Unbelievable...We took pictures if people dont believe me, i'll send them with pleasure. If you book in this hotel, please do not take breakfast, it's dangerous for your health...
The lobby was not clean at the morning and the patio as well.
Nice quality hotel next to a 24 hour hotel and restaurant so good if you arrive late like I did. No tea or coffee making facilities in room, air conditioning slow to reduce room temperature on arrival.
Cold and unwelcoming. Very bland and no comfortable. Not a 4 star.
The location right next to the highway. It's a bit inpersonal. And during my stay seemed that we were the only guests there. The variety for the breakfast was only fair. The room A/C was broken.
Everything is new and shiny. The staff is very friendly. Good location for drivers.
Clean, comfortable rooms. The breakfast was good and location was convenient off the highway allowing us to break our travel from Lisbon to Avila. Due to it's location you're at the mercy of the hotel or truck stop next door for dinner choices especially with a later arrival.
Very confortable and quiet. Good location
Nice bed Sheets were not 100% cotton, and my mate is allergic to it... most hotels in that category have 100% cotton sheets
The staff, the offer of minibar and coffe at the lobby, decoration/arquitecture and the organization of spaces The quality of the air: the corridors without fresh air and smoking at restaurant and living room (this is a weakness of Spain: most of the spaces (including restaurants) are smoking!)
The restaurant is a"green" place (no smoking area)! The ventilation of the internal corridors is weak, mainly close to the elevators where there is a not good smell (transpiration?)
Total absence of smoke in the entire hotel Smoke in the public areas
Staff was friendly, room was clean and beds were comfortable enough for 2 adults and 2 toddlers. Price paid was a little bit more than what I would pay in the future. Location is not prime.
We can not control the temperature of the room adequately. This is mainly true with warm weather and we can not properly down de air conditioning
Friendly and pleasant
the room was very clean i didnt like the fact the the bars and restaurants were close until 8pm and that the staff couldnt speak english
Everything was very good. It was very difficult to get there.
Room very good No service, with the exception of the receptionst, nobody could speak English. No room service.
Nice swimming-pool and very quite. Very helpful staff Too far away from the city centre and some minor cleanning problems but not important
nothing The most uncomfortable beds in the world, staff is very unfriendly.
The excellent and clean pool The reception of BBC World and CNN both neglected, we complained - not remedied.
the quiet location and the food which was good and very reasonable
The hotel is set in very nice and quiet surroundings which makes it ideal for resting. During this time of the year (summer) there aren't many people around because of the heat. We tried staying by the pool one afternoon but had to retreat to the AC of the room after about one hour due to the heat.
Free parking, swimming pool, very quiet surroundings.
The welcome here is so warm and friendly, although difficult to get to with car, once there we were looked after extremely well, great people and a beautiful hotel. The only downside was the restaurant, had a great waiter but unfortunately needed a great chef.
Nice place with nice employees. Too noisy! I almost couldn't sleep all night, and at 7am the workers of a construction right on the side of our room did the rest.
Very nice hotel.
Absolutely everything! The architecture was beautiful. Nothing was too much trouble. We felt lucky to have found such value for money. Just a bit lacking in signs from the town centre but I expect this was not the fault of the hotel.
the friendliness of the staff , the interest of the building and the comfortableness of the room The building was a bit over restored
It was pleasant enough and clean. The meals were not great and the hotel was miles from anywhere to wander in the evening. Location
Free wireless internet. There were two situations where people were unpolite. The waitress in the restaurante was agressive since me and my colleague ask for her to repeat the day dishes (we aren't spanish and she talked in Spanish); while checking out, I asked for invoices in my firm's name. The lady was upset and said, ruddely, that we didn't specified it when we arrived, although I've mentioned it in the internet reservation.
The hotel room was unpretentious but comfortable, slightly old-fashioned and had a full bath and a balcony.
Room was clean and large enough for two adults and two children. The staff was very friendly. Only down side was that the hair drier was broken but that ain't a big issue.
Liked the location as its on the outskirts of town very close walk to both Mcdonalds and the Conquisterdors Shopping Mall (Its got an ATM Supermarket and Burger King as well as others) Heartily recomend it based on price i paid £40 a night and would stay again with friends. Solo its a bit lonely If you have a big jeep like me you will hate the parking its cramped and underground i just parked on the street it was easier. Kitchen is elec only and no oven NO CABLE TV!!!! No Sterio System Worset NO EXTRACTER IN THE BATHROOM!!! but its livable
The room was clean and quiet. Parking was available at 7€ per night and conveniently located below the hotel in a secure car park. Cooking facilities were adequate for a short stay. There were no utensils in the room but we when we asked, these were supplied as requested. Internet was available but was located in the bar by reception and in full view of everyone. So, there was no privacy and only one computer although the service was free of charge.
The rooms were very nice, the bar staff were excellent More bedding would have been nice as it got a bit cold in the middle of the night
The rate. It is very acessible for a family of 4. Breakfast is very limited, and overated.
We had a roomy one-bedroom with living area and minimally equipped kitchen. There were no plates or utensils of any kind, but the girl in reception brought us a crate of everything we asked for, as well as ice -- and refused to accept a tip! Wireless internet connection was excellent, and parking (around 6 euros) was secure. The apartahotel is within easy walking distance of a shopping mall with supermarket and fast food restaurants. A good overnight stop for people with a car, and who are just passing through.
The apartment was quite roomy. It had a room, a living Room with TV and a small kitchen. There was no buffet breakfast, and the the continental breakfast served was somewhat poor.
The front desk staff was very knowledgeable.
The main points in its favour were the central location and the off road parking, the latter was well worth paying for. I found my bathroom to be cold. I was there in the middle of winter and the day before it snowed!
The staff were particularly considerate and helpful and went out of their way to solve the few problems we had. There was no parking available at the hotel and Badajoz is not a town blessed with good parking facilities generally.
Very friendly/helpful staff. Free Wi-Fi. Spacious room. Great Shower. Car parking difficult but not as bad as expected.
very central, excellent Staff, very friendly some parts in bad condition, doors of terrasse not working correctly, Figo out of order, bathroom in ??? conditionFinally for the price ok. Small works can rise up this Hotel to another cathagory
The receptionist was welcoming and efficient. The hotel was imple but adequate and provided a good value simple breakfast.
Great location. Great Tapas, Portuguese and other variety of restaurants in walking distance. Young receptionist was very cordial and helpful
The bathroom was clean and seemed to have been remodelated a few years ago. The rooms are in very poor conditions and need an urgent remodelation.
The location was excellent. The staff and the rooms were good. Not applicable
the parking it is very basic and short on comfort. building work is still being done at the hotel and this added to the discomfort.
The hotel was in the old city center and everything was within 15min walking. Free wifi. Friendly hotel staff. Breakfast is very cheap (for a Hotel) and of good quality. The room furniture was old and not always in working condition. There was no parking available when I arrived so I had to find public parking nearby (I was lucky and found a free one very near).
