Pleasant, quiet comfortable appartment, reasonably well designed. Secure parking. Didn't realise it had a bed settee but it was quite comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Further out of Annecy than described originally on the website. Little storage space for food and no kettle [coffee maker and expresso cups instead]. Very expensive if you break something, we were charged 16 euro for a little coffee pot. Not many facilities within walking distance.
Parking, staff and facilities are excellent Rooms are well equipped, but small
Very clean well laid out room and 24 hour ease of access.
Secure car park, efficient entry and exit, nice relaxing room, efficient cleaning service. Bit too far to walk to town centre. No air conditioning.
Nice room, closed parking, good breakfast, good service. Excellent value for money! -
Convenience of being within walking distance of town centre No evening meal available on Sunday night
the equipments like microwave. It's very convenient. And the Beds are also very comfortable no
it was relatively quiet for a downtown location and the convenience of breakfast being offered on site was good for our type of trip. Gave us a good start to the day. Nothing really. For the price, it is what was expected.
The hotel is clean and functional. About a 15 minute walk into the centre of Annesy with kinds. Good value for money Late check in 16h00
good breakfast misleading info both on the website and in your booklet re distance from lake Annecy. It is not 5mins on foot more like 45mins-same applies to distance on foot to train station-at least 20 mins.
Large room No Restaurant, despite sign outside saying there was! No parking (except for small cars and a €7 per night fee). All the water was hot, even in the toilet cistern!
Excellent new hotel, conventient quiet location, very courteous and helpful staff, nice room design, good breakfast.
good clean accomodation, not far from centre of Annecy
Reception is open 24h a day. Very small room even for France. Pretty expensive for such room and parking is not free too.
extra excellent bed realy a wonderfull nights sleep posistion
Good sound insulation of the room, keeping the traffic noise outside.
Rooms are very comfortable, silent and well refurbished
I liked the layout of the rooms, my little balcony attached to the room.
Plenty of towels and large bed. absence of elevator (3 floor hotel).
Location and clean spacious room Nothing in particular
The staff were very helpful. I did not notice on my reservation that I needed to call to check in after 10:00 PM, but the hotel called me to give me the details on how to access the hotel/my room after hours. The quiet location, balcony, and convenient bus service was great. I prefer a thicker mattress, although the bed was quite comfortable - I slept very well both nights and woke up refreshed.
Hotel was at a quiet location;one could sleep with the windows open. Buffet Breakfast was very good.
Excellent position, quiet, easy access to Lake and public transport. A litle gem! Very helpful and friendly staff. This was our second stay and we would be very happy to return.
Nice people and very helpfull That we could not get a warm drink in the evenings nor a mill when it was snowung outside
The lady at Reception was extremely helpful in directing my husband to the hotel, driving through an unfamiliar town. As a family of two adults and two children under twelve we thought the family room represented good value for money, and the breakfast had a good variety and was well presented by another friendly member of staff. The Airconditioning unit in the room was a little bit noisy.
It was close from the lake. Quite easy to find, and there was a spacious parking place. There was no air conditioner in the room. But since it was rainy and windy during my stay, it was not a big problem.
Central location , easy to find and restaurant next door Unfortunately it was too hot and the room was stuffy and uncomfortable. Also as it was the workd cup final the streets were very noisy with cars beeping all night. The blinds on the window did not work and there were hairs and what looked like fleas (jumping insects) in the bed.
Very nice staff and good location
Breakfast, the room, location. The reception was awful and rude. Your website implied that accommodation for under 10 year olds was free. I therefore booked 2 double rooms for 5 of us and requested the extra bed. The receptionist did not offer to help but just blamed me for misunderstanding your website. The restaurant, which was the main reason for choosing Kyriad over another hotel in Annecy after a long journey, was closed on the night for a holiday. I was not aware of this in advance.
The room was clean and comfortable, if small; the bathroom, with its bath-or-shower arrangement, was wonderful. But best of all was the food. We arrived late (around 9:15 PM) on a Sunday night but still could order the plat du jour--three courses (with choices) of some of the most deliciously prepared French food we'd eaten on our trip. During the meal I kept thinking about what an American restaurant attached to a motel would have served--and cringed. The mattress was somewhat soft for my taste.
very impersonal, stuffy and badly designed (light from bathroom switching on automatically and dazzling the other sleeper).International Visa card did not work. I had to leave numbers and data to receptionist.
The price on the invoice was higher than on booking, corrected after complaint
Conveniently placed for visiting Annecy by car. Only one chair in the room means that one person has to sit on the bed to view tv or to relax.
Friendly staff. Booking.com have this hotel listed as 'Wired internet . . . free of charge'. This is not true. Internet access is Wi-Fi and charged for. Hotel claims to have informed Booking.com of this error before.
the receptionist was helpful as were the staff in the dining room at breakfast. the airconditioning unit did not work until the receptionist came to fix it. She recognised the problem from my description and so it had obviously been a problem for some time i.e. it had not been fixed even thought the staff were aware of the problem.
I enjoyed the bath tub in our room. it was a nice ,small hotel with a tiny room, but very cozy one. There should be a bigger sign on the main street showing and advertising the hotel, as I was with a car and I passed it twice before I got there.
I liked almost everything. It even is sude by side with a supermarket. The problem is to return to the hotel from Annecy. Almost no taxi, and very expensives. The web page does not includes how to go to the hotel. It is very easy with bus, but they do not tell the information
the rooms were kept with fresh linen every day.good parking.good breakfast wish the menu in the restaurant had English equivalent we would have eaten there more often
The badroom , T.V. and airco and de very good bed
Free parking, airconditioned room, comfortable beds Bathroom needs renovation
Close to city center and highways exit The absence of lift to access the rooms
absolutely nothing...to forget it... everything indeed everything...
freedom and no problems no
little bit irratating noise from next room, not cleaned.
The price. The recpetion people are friendly and helpful. While the hotel is not near the main road, still loud noise from main road is still heard very clearly. The distance from hotel to Annecy center takes 10 mins by car.
The proximity from Annecy The bathroom was small .... so small ....
Lady of the reception was very friendly. Room to small, bed much to small and not comfortable. Bathroom was also verry small. Breakfast was very poor, for paying Eu 5,-!
Good quality for its price. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff.
Welcoming staff, parking gates closed at night with secure access.Very quiet. Towels could be more plentiful - if used in the evening they are still wet in the following morning. No Tea/Coffee making facilities in the room. No food available at any time except breakfast - next nearest facility some distance away.
The consistency of all hotels so that there were no nasty surprises. The one hotel we did not like was because the bathroom sink was not clean, there was no shower curtain and the towels were the size of a bath mat. I had to ask for three towels.
very efficient registration. We arrived on Sunday and fortunately could eat at the Camapnile restaurant - good value for money
Good restaurant menu and food with fair prices. Simple but comfortable room. Adequate parking space although not locked at night. Nothing a problem.
Quite comfortable bed. Very adaquate air conditioning. An easy car drive to the town center.
We were able to use the local tennis courts for free during our stay.
Free internet. Great having a restaurant attached - good food. Lovely village location with pretty views from room balcony. Free car parking. Basic French breakfast - quite expensive.
Very cozy and friendly hotel. Good food. Our room was a little too small.
The staff was very helpful and even if the typical architecture is maintained the facilities are still modern. Only point: the windows for the 3 person room didn't really open much, and after a bath the room was very humid.
Pretty amateur service in the dining room over dinner, quite difficult to locate, needs better signage.
Near the city, comfortable and clean A bit difficult to find for a newcomer to the city (we were driving)
Very friendly staff. Restaurant in hotel is very good. Fantastic view from the huge balcony. Although the hotel is in a small city there is not much to see on foot after dinner.
Friendly welcome, good value for money, great location
The staff were very friendly. The hotel was spotlessly clean. Facilities were good. Restaurant was great with local produce and dishes. This is not what we did't like about the hotel, just our room. We were in the roof with a velux window and it was extremely hot when we stayed. We had mobile air conditioning units which were very noisy so we did not keep them running overnight.
Nice, Small, Good, easy-to-find Hotel - especially for our requirement; one overnight - perfect. The Church Bells directly across the street. Not that we don't like Church Bells but in that close proximity they are loud. They stopped ringing at 22:00 and didn't start again until 08:00 the following morning - thankfully.
The hotel was in a very convenient location. The on site restaurant had very good food. Although the food was very good at the hotel restaurant it was a little pricey for a buffet.
if you have a car and you are looking for a cheap hotel with no comfort at all, this is ok a taxi to the center of Annecy costs 20 Euros! better take a more expensive Hotel closer to the citycenter
The price was reasonable for the area. It was out of season, and it showed everywhere I didn't realise it was on the edge of a huge shopping site!!
The hotel manager was extremely helpful, especially dealing with our delayed arrival. Not the hotel's fault, but it was hard to get a taxi into Annecy, or even the nearby airport.
I'm afraid that the hotel was too far away from Annecy making taxi journeys very expensive. However, the room was clean and reasonable value for money. On arrival, I found my bed had not been made up and had to find staff for this to be done. However, this request was carried out without fuss.
conveniently close to Annecy, very pleqsant qnd helpful staff
The hotel is a bit far from Annecy, but with the car it's roughly 10-15 min. Parking included! Accesible rooms for disabled people. Some 3 or 4 restaurants next to the hotel (incl. McDonnalds...)
Rooms clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast really good. Car parking good and free. The parking fee was only for under cover secure parking. The entrance had a canopy which is ideal if packing the car in the rain. No
nice hotel, friendly staff, good family room.
The very friendly owner, who went out of her way to help and gave infomation on annecy, choices of rooms. comfortable stay. Needs a bit of bringing up to date with decor, room was showing signs of age since it had been decorated/ freshened up.
Helpful staff, excellent breakfast and the position was good to travel into Annecy by car where parking was free just a few hundred yards from town centre.
Friendly and helpful Staff
Annecy Room was very dark, claustrophobic, no atmosphere at hotel as hardly any other guests. Assume it was a hotel for business visitors not holiday visitors
friendly welcome, fantastic room, stunning views of mountains from balcony, food good great atmosphere.
The hotel was very family oriented. The staff could not have been more helpful and the hotel was clean, met all our needs, and was recently updated. We would stay at the Auberge on our next trip to the Annecy area.
This is a very nice family run alpine restaurant with a few newly constructed rooms. The rooms are two stories with a sleeping loft. The family grows much of what it offers in the restaurant on its farm. It is a way up the hill from the town, but a very scenic drive. Many cycling routes in the area. There is an occasional bus from the down for those without autos.
