Pros: The place was absolutely beautiful and peaceful a lovely aesthetic. The breakfast was very good and the owners are absolutely lovely and make you feel at home! Beautiful views and right in the centre of the old town. We will definitely stay again!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We loved staying at La Casa de Bovedas. It really is incredibly charming and beautiful! The hosts were wonderful and very helpful. They made fantastic recommendations for restaurants and stores to buy the most beautiful ceramics. The breakfast was very good; simple and light but very tasty and there was more than enough. The terrace where we ate breakfast was gorgeous - surrounded by flowers and with a fantastic view of the countryside. the location was great; right in the middle of the old part of town.
Cons: The only problem was the air conditioning which did not work well. Luckily it was cool at night so we opened the windows and were comfortable.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location on top of the hill, take the deluxe room with direct access to a private balcony
Cons: Breakfast average with toasted bread; room sold as 25 square meters rather small and narrow
10.0 Excellent
Pros: La Casa de Bovedas is a lovely place. Right in the old centre of the beautiful village, it's beautifully styled everywhere. Our host was very kind. We could put our bycicles on the inside terrace. He also gave us great advice on where to have dinner. Our room was really nice and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was nice with fresh orange juice, good coffee, bread, fresh fruit and tasteful marmelades. We definitely recommend this b&b.
Cons: Our room on the street was a little bit noisy in the early morning.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed every minute of our stay in Arcos de la Frontera. As the name indicates, La Casa de Bovidas was absolutely charming with spectacular courtyards, common areas, and views. Our hosts could not have been any nicer or more helpful, and their restaurant recommendations were excellent. (In fact, some of the best food we ate in Spain was on the friendly, narrow roads of Arcos.) The afternoon breezes kept the room cool, and when it was necessary for A/C, that was comfortable, too. Taxis are available to transport you up the hill from the parking garage, although it is also walkable if you don't mind the incline! From Arcos we could easily day-trip to Ronda and Seville. We just can't say enough nice things. Hope to return again some day!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was stunning and hosts were very helpful and friendly, Really you cannot find better if you are to visit this town.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A very charming place, tastefully decorated in a boho- artsy style. Friendly hosts. Centrally located in the old town. Not suitable for handicapped- If you go by car, park in the town parking and host will send a cab. Too narrow and tortous to risk a car. Otherwise, loved the house and the town.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed 4 nights at la casa de Bovedas. We felt very welcome. The owner is very kind and a great support in finding activities and restaurants in the little town and area. We enjoyed all his recommendations. The place itself is even nicer than you see on pictures. There are so many details hidden you won’t find within a day. Especially the breakfast outside in the garden is something special to remember. It’s definitely worth to stay more than a night. You cannot park at the place, but the owner supports you in either parking at main square (don’t bring a big car) or in the towns parking garage. We would visit again. Thanks for having us!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This charming hotel is set in a perfect location. Central. Gorgeous views. The interior is charming and striking. The owners are warm and helpful. There are fabulous restaurants nearby. We look forward to returning for a long stay. This is a perfect base to explore Cadiz, Ronda, Zahara, and Seville.
Cons: Nothing.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The owners, the charming ambiance, the location, the patio balcony, the view!
Cons: The bed was not very comfortable.

Medina Sidonia is an interesting and historic place and you will be in the middle of it in a quiet bed and breakfast establishment. A good position near the top of the hill with free parking space across the road accessed from a modern road that meant no necessity to drive through the narrow streets. 8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room and premises were neatly kept (gardens, lobby, pool). It was conveniently located close to the royal school of Andalusian horses (the main reason of our trip to Jerez).
Cons: I needs a more friendly environment in the pool area. People are not allowed to eat or drink at the terrace by the pool area wearing your swimming attire even when it is extremely hot.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel, our room was very nice, quiet, comfortable and cleaned every day. There is a little terrace with table and chairs, we had a garden view, it was quiet and relaxing. Lovely bathroom with a huge shower and nice toiletries. The pool area is lovely, very clean, the bar there is nice too and staff very friendly. Staff at reception were helpful with any questions I had, re trains or excursions. Car hire is available at the hotel if required. The walk into centre is about 20 mins. Lots and lots to see and do in Jerez. Close the hotel is the School of the Andalusian horses well worth a visit and there are a few very good restaurants in the area. Gonzalez Byass tour very interesting also. We walked from our hotel to all these places, taxi is only about 5 euro if walking is not an option.
Cons: I could not fault anything.

Pros: It’s a nice hotel . Location perfect ! Rooms ok... bathroom shower leaking and old . Needs renovation ! Breakfast huge choice and good value 11 euro pp. Sximming pool very very small and not to compare with pictures . A bit dissapointed about the pool. But perfect perfect location .

Pros: Great location, friendly staff, good room size, very well kept hotel.
Cons: Pool is very small
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very close to everything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast cost 11 Euro each for buffet, was clean and good. The restaurants nearby are very local, you could try but they only offer bread in the morning. It will cost you around 4-5 euro for bread and coffee, but the coffee tastes weak. Eurostar actually offers decent coffee. Fresh orange juice to wake you up in the hot summer morning!
Cons: The door of each room. When you close the door, it makes a loud noise, we believe it can be fixed easily by adding something behind the door frame. I often hear the door closing from other rooms, sometimes it made me think it's from my room!

Pros: Villa was roomy and comfortable. Breakfast great choice
Cons: Location terrible, cost a fortune in taxi’s! At time of booking, paddle tennis was listed as a facility, but there were NO paddle tennis courts!!! Reception staff not helpful or friendly. Pool towel policy a joke, we were expected to keep towels until the next day. On arrival no help with luggage and reception did not appear to be expecting us. Requested iron and iron board which never arrived . 9.3 Excellent
Pros: Golf practice facilities, staff and food
Cons: Lightning in the bar could be more relaxing. Music piped to corridors outside bedrooms not great
8.3 Excellent
Pros: This is a beautiful golf course and resort outside of Jerez. It is beside the Jerez racetrack and sometimes you could hear the buzz of the racecars but it did not bother us much. The facilities for golfing are top..a great practice area and a beautiful course that is very well maintained. The main hotel is well appointed and caters to the needs of mainly golf clients but also has many other extras - pools, sports clinic, spa, etc. We stayed in one of the villas which was comfortable, albeit the decor was all a bit bland. It was very clean and handy to get to the pool area. There's a wonderful children's water play and nursery which wasn't yet open for the season but looks great for families. The food was very good..a large and plentiful breakfast and lunch buffet with a la carte options didn't disappoint. Air conditioning worked well. Beds very comfy!
Cons: In the villa, many things were provided but for example there were no bowls, no dish soap, no salt and pepper.. a few things were missing. The decor of the living//dining room is pretty bland. No artwork.. a lot of empty beige shelves- all a bit blah.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Golf course could do with some TLC.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: This is one of the few hotels close to the old town centre with secure parking. I was charged half the car fee for parking my motorcycle which was appreciated (and unusual). The hotel was a very pleasant place to spend time, with very nice and helpful staff. I will return for sure.

Cons: The air conditioning went out during the night so it was too warm in the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was one of our best experiences. The view is superb and memorable. The staff were excellent
Cons: Parking is a nightmare. Don't make the mistake of trying to drive to the hotel. The only way to get here is to drive between narrow buildings. Pull your mirrors in . You'll only have inches on either side. Check with the hotel for the best options.
7.0 Good
Pros: For some reasons, we were given the room number 9, which is the corner room of the first floor, which offers from its huge balcony a 240°+ view, from the old town and San Pedro to the left, then the dramadic cliff, and the green valley going far away to the right. No doubt that, with the room right above us, this room is the best in this Parador. Then those familiar to the Paradores will find pretty much the same amenites as in any other. With the exception of the unique charm of this old palacio. Wifi is excellent wherever we were. Excellent restaurant as usual. Driving up here and driving back is most of the fun. The reception will sell a parking ticket for 6 per day, so you don't have to feed the machine every 2 hours on plaza Cabildo. So all rooms before 9 have right view but be aware that the roof bar looks straight in to these balconies. And all rooms after 9 will have beautifull view on the old town only.
Cons: Never found a kettel in a Parador, why ! So bring your own. No parking, pick a wish on plaza Cabildo, or wait in line till one leaves then go.
7.4 Good
Cons: Parking was problematic. The lot used by the hotel is a public lot. On one of the two evenings we were staying at the hotel the lot was full. The nearest alternate parking location is about 3/4 miles away down the hill.

10.0 Excellent

9.3 Excellent
Pros: The sign of a really good stay is when you feel sad to go and we did. We loved Jerez and we loved this hotel. We had spent two nights in Seville, travelled by train to Cadiz for three nights and then arrived in Jerez by train for 2 nights. We wished we had spent longer here. We found the hotel and the city so relaxing and peaceful. Alejandro the owner provided a wonderful welcome and we love his enthusiasm for the hotel, Jerez and sherry. All the team there are lovely. The hotel is beautiful, our room whilst small was lovely and so quiet. We loved the roof terrace and watching the swallows chasing and swooping. The patio is full of colour from the plants and flowers and has a lovely view of the cathedral which looks incredible at night when it is lit up. It is lovely to have breakfast there on the morning. The hotel is central to so many things and it is so easy to get around. We took the sherry tour around Lustau and that was really worthwhile and informative. We will definitely return to Jerez and La Fonda and La Fonda Barranco.
Cons: There wasn't anything we didn't like, but for us we would have preferred a softer mattress.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Alejandro is a very hospitable and friendly host who makes a stay especially pleasant and comfortable, and shared some very valuable tips and gave a brief history of sherry, which we really enjoyed. Communication and check-in/out was very easy. The location is perfect, just 3 minutes walk from the main cathedral - in the heart of the city. The room was clean, comfy, a bit small, but stylishly decorated and with two charming French balconies. Very nice toiletries in the bathrooms. The breakfast was good and was on a rooftop terrace with a beautiful view. Parking was available for a reasonable fee. The service was splendid. Lots of info in the hotel (brochures, leaflets etc.). Wish we stayed longer.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff very helpful and perfect location
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: would recommend beautiful accommodation
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, cleanliness, friendly staff, nice rooms with a typical Andalusian style.
Cons: The breakfast is in a very tiny area. Nothing major, just wished it was a little bigger but the construction doesn't allow that, so is understandable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel with a characterful interior. We only stayed one night but it was a really nice place and not too far from the cathedral and the main square. We only had a small/standard double but I imagine some of the bigger rooms would be even better!
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was so wonderful in booking us great seats for the Real Escuela horse show, reserving us a table for flamenco in a small bar, arranging for a tour at the best sherry bodega and recommending sights to see. I loved the decor. Would definitely go back!
Cons: I just wish I had more time to spend there.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is delightful! From the moment you step through the door into the plant filled patio reception area, guests are made to feel very welcome. Juan was very knowledgeable about local places of interest and restaurant recommendations. My room and bathroom was spotlessly clean. The hotel location is excellent only a few minutes walk from the historic centre. Breakfast is not served in the hotel, instead you can go to a nice cafe just around the corner.
Cons: I liked everything about this hotel.

Pros: The breakfast was very good and would recommend guests to have breakfast in-house Once we got our bearings, we realized the hotel was in an excellent location to be able to walk to most areas. The check in was a good laugh with Esther on reception who allowed us an early check in. She also booked us for the horse show and the hop on/hop off big bus which included a visit and tour of Tio Pepe Distillery (Highly recommended) On arrival you can park your car at the front of the hotel and check in. once done you can park the car in the hotel underground parking for a fee, but well worth it. We did not see our car again until we finally checked out
Cons: All was good for this quick staycation in Spain

Pros: The breakfast was very nice. It had enough options for a selection to the point that I overate.
Cons: They charge $12.00 for parking which I thought was a lot

6.3 Good
Pros: Location is perfect. Housekeeper Mr Jesus was very friendly and helpful, waited for us after his normal work hour for our late check in.
Cons: 1) Bed way too soft (our backs, after 3 nights stay, felt sore for two weeks). 2) No space to unpack luggage. 3) Only one and very tiny trash bin (broken, has to open the lip by hand 4) No towel rack or hangers in the bathroom to put their clothes 5) Smelly after the ventilation fan turned on - seems the drain system not built/designed properly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is well located, room was clean and quiet which was nice. The receptionist of the hotel is fantastic and we felt home during our stay. The terrace of the hotel is stunning and we highly recommend to enjoy it with a glass of wine, especially by night. Great accomodation and great staff.

Pros: Good location, nice rooftop
Cons: Small rooms, dark (almost no daylight)
7.0 Good
Pros: The location was very good and the breakfast on the terrace also was nice
Cons: The rooms were too dark also a limited bar and breakfast. Also we (and also other guests) believed that there was a jacuzzi on the roof for all guests use but sadly this wasn’t the case. In fact the room that had the jacuzzi was closed!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff. Extremely clean. Location great!
Cons: Room and bathroom were very small.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: great terrace - nicely decorated rooms - friendly staff
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice decor, great terrace for breakfast or drinks. Well-located and in easy walking distance of the historic center.
Cons: Rooms can be a bit dark, as light does not really enter. However, I guess it's called Hotel " de las Cuevas" for a reason!
6.3 Good
Pros: Location was fine, just in the middle of the town. Very expensive. No decent breakfast.
Cons: Our room had nothing to do with the ones shown in the booking website. Very small, located on the rooftop, with crystal door which allowed the heat to come straight inside like in a greenhouse. There were several blackouts during the day. Loud noise coming from the flapping sail mounted in the rooftop.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good

Pros: We loved this beautiful old hacienda, the gorgeous gardens and pool and the lovely staff. Our room was perfect. The restaurant was very nice and great food. Will definitely be back!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The restaurant was excellent with tasty and affordable food all day in a lovely setting and well served. The breakfast was nicely served and really good. The staff were pleasant and friendly at all times We had a lovely spacious room with a pleasant view
Cons: We would have prefered a room facing the lake but everything else was ideal.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing. Total catastrophe.
Cons: Although on photographs, the hacienda looks charming and enticing, everything is small and ill-conceived. On the occasion of our (unannounced) honeymoon, we had the suite, which has no views and is placed directly over the porch, getting all the noise from the reception and kitchen area. The unheated outdoor round swimming pool is a joke, so small that in one movement you're on the other side. The worst was the reception and restaurant service and quality. Miscommunication because of extremely poor English and cooking knowledge, then arrogant and aggressive reaction when we requested the mistaken restaurant order to be corrected. In the process staff insulted us for so-called being impolite, the cook even pretending that we were racist. After a bland and uninteresting avocado salad as a starter, we ended up in our room eating our stock of biscuits (as our main course!) and departing early the next morning, without breakfast - but having to wait for 30 min for the bill to be written, as only the owner (who lives off-site) is entitled to write this - never to return to this dreadful place. One regret: we should have called in the Police to sue the hotel for non-delivery and libel. But who is in the mood of doing so during your honeymoon after a most magnificent wedding ceremony?
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great house, advertised as a B&B but was much nicer than just a house.
Cons: Nothing to dislike
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice room, good location.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: breakfast great but not a great evening selection . very quiet area closest restaurant quite a walk away
10.0 Excellent

Pros: Great hotel, friendly staff and even though the hotel was fully booked we easily found sun loungers and the hotel seemed very quiet. I loved the food and setting of the restaurant next door.
Cons: You had to pay €10 to use the spa pool
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff could learn some English especially in the restaurant at least the basics.
Cons: Restaurant food was very average and the fact the staff was slow and did not understand English (not everyone has to speak English, but at least one!) made it difficult and wrong portion sizes were delivered etc. Frustrating if anything.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel, clean rooms and friendly staff. Lovely big pool.
Cons: The sun loungers by the pool are old and need to be upgraded. The little kiosk at lunchtime doesn't have much choice.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The pool was amazing and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds very comfortable. Balconies were nice and Aircon worked well.
Cons: Ensuite bathroom was a little dark - lighting could be improved.

Pros: Central location, easy acess to the rest of Medina Sidonia
Cons: Difficult to find parking.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This city and hotel is so special. The location of Medina Sidonia is magnificent and the views from the top are spectacular. The hotel is comfortable and typical of the buildings in this city. Parking is included and was a little tricky to find, but once done it was easy to get to...although a small car is recommended!...streets are narrow and steep!
Cons: Wifi was fairly weak in rooms.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice room, 2 min to the city center, great location while going to Cadiz, Jerez or Seville.
Cons: Parking could be difficult to find and reach on a longer vehicles - streets are very narrow and some turns could be stressful. Alternatively one can live car without entering city center - ~600-1000m away from hotel
5.0 Okay
Pros: We did not dine at the hotel. The location was ideal to explore the historic area. The lift was like a rocket but you had to be quick to get in the door!
Cons: The car parking was offsite, which mislead us. The access to the hotel is completely inappropriate for people with mobility issues. The room we stayed in was dark, with drab furniture, uncomfortable bed, a bathroom which needs a total refit and a mini bar with a nasty stain in the bottom.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff at reception very nice. Location superb.
Cons: Lighting in room and better cakes for breakfast in such a lovely place with so many bakeries and excellent cakes.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Beautiful entrance. Good price. Most areas clean.
Cons: Smelly bathroom on arrival and no fan or window. Staff not friendly. Steep entrance steps especially with luggage. Spartan bedroom furniture. Heating didn’t work.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel, and the town itself, was a great find. The town is charming and the staff are exceptional. The rooms were spacious, as was the en suite bathroom. Loved this place!
Cons: Parking is a bit tricky, offsite, but the town is quiet and safe.
9.3 Excellent
Cons: The breakfast could have been better
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a modern hotel in a very nice old building. This is a small town with tremendous history. A real pleasure to spend time here. The room was nice and the common spaces are outstanding.
Cons: Parking is a little hard to reach, you need some help to get there!
